How do we know if we're one of the first 500 on the list? I joined a week ago or so but didn't get any confirmation? I'd hate to show up and not know if I'm on the "guaranteed entry" list...but will definitely go 100% if I'm on it. (whatever it costs)

It really is just like you said on the show last night...updating your facebook status. The reason I dig it though, is because I can send out a tweet (ha!) from my cell phone by just texting Twitter. It's convenient when you're out and about not in front of a computer.

I also have it set up so that for a select group of people, undoubtably you'll be in that group, I recieve their "tweets" right on my cell in a text message. Since Im out and about all the time, it keeps me updated w/out having to be online. Again...it's all about the mobile phone access that makes it different for me.

I dont know about all that chat room stuff...I've never heard of people doing that. Just direct messaging and @ replys if you wanna reply to one another.

Good to see activity on here again and exciting stuff happening. Especially on the 16th...

The 16th is a bad day for me because I lost a very close family last Sunday and the 16th is the funeral (I never want to have to organise one of those ever again! A tonne of important stuff to do at a time when you are really NOT in the mood). I was going to ask a question about losing close family etc. but yours was tragic and mine was due to old age so the circumstances are vastly different and not comparable. The gap in your life is the same though....... This is a bummer of a post so I will stop.
