Dave...
No one is saying anything about possible upcoming Jane's shows. Can we expect some sort of announcement soon? Maybe after Coachella is announced. Why so quiet?

Q-have you ever felt or been really competitive?
Btw..good job on being a commentaor on the VH1 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs. Though some of the songs I thought for SURE they would have aired your comment on they didn't. I wonder how they edit and decide that?

Dave,
Daniel from Australia here. I called on Dark Matter a few weeks ago and was fortunate enough to win a Jane's poster from the La Cita show. It arrived in the mail and has been framed and looks pretty cool on my wall. Thanks again for that...you have been very generous with the amount of stuff you have been giving away on the show as well as online.
Anwyay, I have a question. I remember reading an old article that featured your comments some years ago. You stated that when playing guitar you see colours. I wonder if that was the drugs talking back then or whether this is still the case these days now that you're clean.
If so, do you always see the same colours when you play certain songs? For example what colour is Three Days?
Thanks,
Daniel

you still get the award for being the sexiest adult entertainment director of all time in 09...do you place a lot of importance on awards and accolades from your peers...ha where do you store these out on the mantelpiece next to the stags antlers...do you love being ego stroked by the world or could you go on one of those celebrity shows to a deserted island with just one female companion and eat coconut husks for a year in isolation and be very happy or would you need them to fly in fresh sushi and more women and hold an awards ceremony for the biggest kahuna on the island in which you would probably win:)is this what your new film with todd will be about have i just written the script?if you were to star in a film what would be your ideal part to play...any part as long as you get a star on hollywood boulevarde;)right next to mine:) we are all made of stars according to moby who else will you be jamming with in the upcoming months xo kaz

Hi Dave,
Happy New Year!! I was wondering when you are (were)touring with J.A., RHCP or P.C. , how did you keep things fresh on tour when having to play (mostly) the same songs night after night after night? I would assume things might get a little boring playing the same songs many times over.
Cheers!

Q ~
Would you ever visit a school and read a children's book to a first grade class? What was your favorite book when you were in elementary school?

Q: You being the movie critic that you were/are, what's your thoughts on the Oscar/Academy season coming up?
I keep hearing about Milk and Benjamin Button.... I haven't seen either one... not much of a movie goer but I might have to check it out. Anyways, I also wanted to say good job on the VH1 Hard Rock show.... "I'd like to thank everyone at Vh1 for the #1 spot.... wait, were not #1? Oh." haha. Can't wait to see what you have for us this year... :)

Ok...This is how much I give a crap abt. you. Can barely see(hurt eye earlier today). So...in light of you buying a hybrid, is there anything else that you are or plan to do to make a diff. for the environment? Maybe more organic clothes or using better products? If that 's not a good one how abt. this......Would you ever endorse or do a print/ad campaign for a non-musical product? I know you did ads for New Balance on Indie but would you do commercials? Have a great week! Wish me luck w/ this eye thing. Hoping tomorrow I feel better. I HATE going to the eye dr. NOT the best patient. Don't like people coming at my eye. Take care! C

How do you deal with what you may view as mistakes in your past when they come back to haunt you...if they do that is?
Are you planning to do some of your own music again. Would it be just instrumental. When you do do you think you would spend ages analysing or thinking about it...or just go with the flow.
Do you have any new years resolutions.
Did you have any pets as a child and what were their names. I do understand if you don't want to divulge this highly sensitive information, but i am surprised its not mentioned on your Wikipedia page. But I suppose fair enough, if the tabloids got hold of it who knows what they would dig up and would be splashed across the front pages world wide.. e.g. "Dave Navarro fed bits of wool to Freddy the goldfish as child."

That's an excellent question about the music/colours! I saw a programme years ago about how people's senses varied, some people 'tasted' colours or sounds, saw sound in colours, etc. A relative-in-law of mine sees subtitles in his peripheral vision when people speak, we were curious as to whether there were spelling mistakes, or whether they were there when he was very young but he couldn't really answer. He assumed everyone saw them so never paid attention or thought this was unusual. I find this whole thing fascinating!
Not feeling inspired on the question front.....the only query is -
Any idea when Spread TV will be back on our computer screens?
Thanks

Well, I have absolutely no idea what "Sunday 10" means but, since it's Monday, I'll add a question to the list:
How did you spend your $600 economic stimulus check from George W. Bush???
