You do have kids listening to you... my brother and friend like you, we're not in Africa, but we ARE African-American haha. Went to a family reunion last year and apparently I have some distant family over there and my ancestors came from this African tribe that I can't even pronounce so maybe you can help out some of my distant peeps or something :p.

And honestly, if you're really doing the “Save a child” thing, mad props to ya. I admire you're involvement with Charity work. I also try to do whatever I can do to help others as well. Matter of fact, there's this kid at my school, 16, and he's an only child and not only did he lose his mother, but he lost his father and grandfather as well all within a MONTH and close to the holiday season. When I lost my grandmother in November, I was trippin' because she was like a mother to me, but I don't know what I'd do if I lost all my immediate family back-to-back-to back like that. It amazes me that he's still able to attend school and everything. Anyways, my bro is in AJROTC and we were able to rise $$$ and donate things to him.

New Chris Cornell... I'm actually able to dig it. It really isn't my kind of thing, but I look at it this way. Chris has been in the game for over 20+ years and if he wants to do something completely different from what he usually does, he can do it! He should be able to do whatever the hell he wants to do because he has paid his dues. Chris... imo, is the best rock vocalist of all time or at least his generation. Early SG... no one has shit on his vocals. "Stone Cold Bitch," can't even get into that. Like my friend mentioned, this kind of thing makes me think of Neil Young (yeah, I wasn't around, but I have the music), when he started doing experimental albums in the 80's after years of HUGE success and people were taking back by it and were like "WHAT IS HE DOING, THAT'S NOT THE NEIL YOUNG THAT I LOVED!!! Where's The Needle and The Damage Done, Old Man, etc.!!" and after Neil got done having his fun/experimenting, he returned to his rock roots and shut everyone up! Chris is just having some fun right now and whenever he decides to go back to his rock roots, he'll do it again if he decides to... it's still in him, regardless, he still puts on one hell of a show and his vocals are kicking ass. Anyways, if he wanted to keep it steady and boring, he could write SG songs, etc. which is good, but it gets boring for the artist after awhile I'd bet, so let him do his experimenting and have fun. And if anything, people should appreciate the wonderful music he has blessed us with. He's not dumb, he's aware that his decision to do this project may alienate some of his fan base, but maybe he's just picking some "weeds" of out his garden ;-). That and I just love Chris... I'll support anything he decides to do musically as much as I'll support your music and projects.

Jett Travolta... it is indeed sad. I'm not a parent, but to lose a child has to be the worse thing to ever happen for a parent. So my heart goes out to the Travolta family. However, there are a lot of skeptical things surrounding the whole thing. Apparently, Scientology doesn't recognize certain mental illnesses and them being treated with medicine, etc. Some are saying that Jett could have been autistic, but Scientologist doesn’t recognize autism. Reports said he suffered from Kawasaki disease, however there's hardly any correlation, if any between seizures and Kawasaki. Most people who do suffer from KD are young kids under the age of 5. He supposedly had a past of seizure episodes and he went into the bathroom at 10 the night before. I don't know, but if I was a parent, if my child went into the bathroom at 10, and I didn't see from them in awhile... an hour at tops, I'd think something was wrong because they didn't found him until the next day at 12. But to think, just like that, your life can be over is saying something and he was my age as well.

Mr. Reznor... generous guy, you see his gift to us fans? 400GB worth of shows! I can't afford to risk downloading that much, because my computer might crash but have to love Trent.... I'm waiting for a DVD and if anything, some fans will string it together because they were responsible for the footage.

Well just came to say goodbye, the fact is I started taking these b vitamins and they are really working well on my brain, so my compulsive desire to leave comments here seem to be lessening considerably. I admire How you handle the "suspicion" about your recovery/sobriety. Even after 11 yrs, I still don't handle it that well. (Ask my ex who brought up my heroin addiction in court when we were fighting for custody of my sons last yr. We were only together 6 years...I had almost 5 years clean when we got together.) Needless to say, my reaction wasn't pretty and I could take a lesson from you going forward.
