Sunday
Morning! The third Camp Freddy "C U Next Tuesday" Residency show is already upon us at The Roxy on the 16th. I can add two names with plus ones to my personal list. As always, the first two to leave their full names in the comments will join us.
I also came across some extra wrist bands from the Jane's show at La Cita. White with "J.A. 10/23/08 La Cita" etched into them, these things are really the only remaining items that commemorate our first show with Eric Avery this year. Some might find them valuable and collectible... some may not. If you do, I will be giving away a hand full on next Wednesday's Dark Matter on Indie 103.1FM, between 12a-2a. I am also hoping to have an in studio guest.
OK, I am gonna go get my day started... I can take questions or submit gear related inquiries to Dan.

Yes Danni, that pic is so very CFR web cam-ish!LOL
Oooh the ol'DN web cam, oooh the memories!
Q-I know in the past you have stated that in lieu of Holiday gifts you usually give to a charity or cause in someone's name, is it same organizations every year or do you like mix it up?
Because this year I'm trying to be more of service to others as best as I can afford. Basically because so many other people have fallen on hard times. And some people are just looking for gift cards for basic stuff like food or a warm coat.

"Somebody STOP ME"=Jim Carrey, THE MASK-
Since Electric Ladyland was listed as one of your favorite albums and Hendrix is a big influence.......What question would you ask Jimi if he were alive today?
That is all sir.......;)

Please please please can I have a wristband?
Are you open to bribery of any kind lol. That's my Sunday 10 for the day..
Damn it, would be at the shows if it wasn't a 14 hour flight. Sigh. I know I have to wait til Weds / Thursday morning and D.M but I just can't seem to ever get through on the bloody phone! Even though I now have the right number, which should help matters, but doesn't. More sighing!
HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY!

I have a question !
I listened to Dark Matter and you did a lil movie impression thing. Something along the lines of Who are you people what are you doing here....and said you didnt think anyone would get it. i don't know if you answered it but was it Glengarry Glen ross( my favourite film!)

Q - What is the best way to deal with assholes?
You can tell what sort of week I've had and suspect will have to come.
One thing I thought I would never experience.... Marc Almond singing a big band version of "Tainted Love" live. This is probably meaningless to most Americans, but this song was a bizarre electro anthem in the late 70's in the UK. I've experienced some weird stuff over the years but seeing Marc sing that live last night may be the strangest - totally unexpected. Good show but why will nobody dance?! Possibly because the audience were elderly and their zimmer frames were wedging them in their seats. I think someone should think up an elderly version of the ball-pit for babies - somewhere you can leave old folks for a while where they are safe and entertained while you get away for a quick chat, coffee and shop. Perhaps that's what had happened at the concert last night..but why was I there..I don't have a zimmer..bullshit bullshit bullshit..
Looking forward to Dark Matter...........oh, yes, that is a funky photo.....take care all.............SB

C U Next Tuesday...I love it! You know, you really do learn something new each and every Dark Matter! hahaha
Since you brought up JA...
~Have you and the boys been jamming, writing, hangin...anything lately? (We looove hearing JA updates, give us somethin!)
~Have you ever thought about grabbing the mic at a CF show, and sing one of the songs yourself? I think it would be a fun treat! (...you could always bust out some Kiss From a Rose! haha)
Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend. Im off to get some serious coffee, and start my cramming marathon for finals week!

Out of interest (this is a tech related question) say, some crazed delusional stalker ran, and jumped onto the stage, and threw herself onto you weeping, shouting that she knew once you looked into her eyes you could not deny the connection that existed between you, and she had waited for this moment for two years, ever since finding your blog during Rockstar, would you have any technical equipment on hand on stage or nearby to deal with a sensitive situation such as this..e.g. a gun or electric cattle prod?
