SpreadTV
Camp Freddy last night at the Roxy was insane! There are three Thursdays left to catch a show! BTW: The Margaret Cho thing was supposed to be COMEDY! My reaction to the food was "acted" and "scripted"! Duh!!!! ;) The new SpreadTV is now up featuring street artist Shepard Fairey and return guest, author Whitley Strieber. I forgot to remind you guys that it aired already. It is now up in rotation over at ManiaTV.

How funny is that…I’m clueless, I almost felt sorry for you (but laughed my ass off) when you spewed out that food…Good one Mr. Navarro Good One!
Mar and I were able to catch half the show last night due to a late baseball game Julz had…we lost…:( but catching the tail end of SE and the new TODD TIME, totally made up for our disappointment :) were really digging "TODD TIME" (just wanted to share that) Have a great weekend, Take Care and God Bless!
Have a great weekend everyone, have fun and take care!
Love ya!

I've been at both shows so far. While the first one was amazing, this one was STELLAR. Chester singing Highway to Hell was the highlight for me, but I also loved Rock and Roll All Nite!! Dave, just a note, after being at both shows and about 3 ft in front of your stand, I must say I am having a very hard time hearing ANYBODY's solos. Crank up the sound on the guitars!! Chaney and Sorum are drowning you guys out and we want you hear you guys shred!!!!

My computer has been down for a couple of weeks and today I was trying to catch-up and get my Spread on. All of the videos for the last week or so are saying "we're sorry, this video is no longer available" when I try to watch them. This has never happened before. What is this ca-ca? Can u help me? I need a Dave fix! Much luv from Texas!

That is a good photo!!
Still not finding the food thing funny, but Dave, I'm personally not sycophantic enough to find everything you do totally fantastic, hilariously funny or blindingly intelligent. Sorry, I am just not interested in being part of the Navarro cult. The snidey comment makers, who are not my 'friends', can shove it - Vixen, knowing Dave's neat, clean compulsion, the anal thing may well be genuine.
Is there any way a Camp Freddy gig would be taped in entirety for the MySpace page or similar?

Hi Sarah - I'm with you 100% on the snidey comment makers.
I SO WISH I HAD BEEN THERE! (ROXY). If my sweet little cat wasn't dying of liver disease I would be, was meant to be and am due at a conference in 2 weeks. Hardly her fault but her timing is really shit.
Have a fun weekend everyone..

Sarah-B...I *heart* you...and I'm with you and Vixen on the "We love Dave the mostest crowd." Shut the F up. Thank you very much. Assuming that the comments about anal were true Dave...Care to have a chat with my boyfriend for me? Please? I promise to become sycophantic enough to act like your shit doesn't stink! LOL.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Love,
Nicole XOXO

Dave, this morning Jamie Kennedy was on O&A talking about his new documentary that's out in the film festivals but will be released to DVD this fall. It's called "Hecklers". As a performer I think you might enjoy it. Add it to your netflix list.

I wasn't able to catch Spread last night however I did catch it on-demand at Mania today and I loved it and I'm not just saying that. I really liked what Shepard Fairey had to say, whether it was through his AMAZING artwork or just word of mouth. I'll have to check him out some more for sure though, what an intelligent/interesting artist. Exactly how much are we “brainwashed” by the media whether it’s unconsciously or us deciding to turn the “blind eye?” Interesting thing, because in our psychology class at the moment where studying psychoanalysis which is the study of the unconscious mind and how unconscious factors that take place in everyday life can effect our mood, etc. whether it's through the media, music, or anything for that matter.
Anyways, in my area there isn’t too many graffiti/graffiti artists or should I say that from the pics I've seen, L.A. has some amazing graffiti/street art and you don't see too much of that here (not talking about gang tags btw, I'm talking about actual artwork whether it's on a building or whatever, Venice beach is a good example). If only I could release that "badass" in me and had some talent I would go grab a few spray cans and go crazy but I don't have the balls (not to include the fact that I'm not a guy and I'm a girl :p) to do it. I'm always the person saying "Guys, let's not do that, what if the police catches us or something" when really I wish I could be that crazy rebel and get away with some stuff. Nothing to crazy though...
I have and I will say it again, I found the Margaret Cho clip funny, when I first saw it and now. Different tastes in humor and misunderstandings… it happens. But like I tell myself there’s a time and place for everything, but you can’t take everything so seriously sometimes. Not part of the “Navarro cult,” or anything (btw that may be offensive to some labeling them that way or maybe I’m too nice…) which from my understanding is a reference to the people who act like Dave can’t do anything wrong and if you say something that may not be “reasonable” under the SUPER FAN line, then you’re going to get shit for it. I think that happened to me on here few months ago, but I see what you’re hitting at. Last time I checked, I thought Dave was human though, unless he’s one of those aliens mutilating cows in his spare time…MOO!
Anyways have a great weekend, I'm going to try and enjoy mine because today is my birthday and I'm feeling old... I'm 16 (yikes only 16 and on 6767!!) LOL. ;)
Take care and much Love,
-Kirsten

I think being offended by the 'cult' word whilst visiting 6767 is the least of anyone's worries - there is plenty of other content on here that could be taken as more offensive.
I understand that people are different, which is why I don't get worked up when someone says something I disagree with. When Dave does something I don't agree with I'll make a comment occasionally or mostly just say nothing. I think it is obvious by now that the recent comedy fell flat on it's face for me.
The last time I checked, this was Dave's site and you didn't need to be in a special club (other than Typekey) to comment here. Some people need to get over themselves and realise they are no better or special than anyone else.
This is getting tedious so, for me, I'm moving on.
Happy Birthday for yesterday Kirsten. Make the most of 16, you'll look back at 40 and wonder why you thought you were old at 16.
Much love to everyone, especially to some who don't need identified..........................SB

Hi Dave. Thanks for bringing Alice on May 3. Three of my favorite musician-DJ's together.
Can't beat that! And I just saw my favorite band again last month. Yay!
