Hey....could be. STP never officially "broke up" 5 1/2 years ago...they were just on a extended break.

I saw the Roots open for CF in NY back in 2004, they were awesome, ?uestlove rocked the house. Can't wait for May :)

There's another band that is planning on a new release this year with a tour to follow. It's only been 26 years since their farewell tour. That band? Oh, just The Who.
As long as you keep playing, and even afterward, I'll still be listening-and waiting for the next time that I get to see one of the greatest guitarists, and more importantly one of the nicest people, on stage. Even if there are "breaks" from time to time. :)

So I just read the news... Eric IS for a fact, on board for the NME award ceremony! It's been 17 years (that's longer than my lifetime here on this planet hah) since the original lineup has played together, so it is very refreshing news. You guys were on break... nice answer haha. Take it a step at a time, maybe you guys could I don't know, play a couple of shows across the U.S and I could finally see you guys. It’s all uphill from here? I hope so! Have a lovely week!! Hopefully, you made Matt Sorum work his fingers to the bone to help you find the outfit you will be sporting at the award show if you did go shopping for the event at his shop ;).

In a statement on his blog published on Sunday, Navarro said he, Farrell and Perkins "have been speaking regularly (and) have decided to focus on what's most important ... The music."

His comments doubled as a preemptive strike against journalists and bloggers inclined to bring up old quotes in which the band members trashed each other.

"Everybody in the world has said something over the top due to an emotional charge," Navarro said. "The bottom line is that we have been getting along great and are moving forward with our personal and musical relationships."
