CF & Chicago
(With Corey Parks of Nashville Pussy... HOT!!!)
Hello... It has been a while since I have come here... Partly because I have been extremely busy and partly because there really hasn't been much going on, if that makes any sense! To begin with, here is last week's Camp Freddy Radio. This should be the last one without music as I have decided to include the music from here on out. Speaking of Camp Freddy... Tonight we are performing at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood for the Give Me Shelter Charity. The charity creates housing for kids that have nowhere to go after being in foster care. This afternoon will be all about brushing up on all the songs we will be doing tonight. We go on around 11:30pm.
Tomorrow night I am in Chicago with DJ Skribble at Enclave. This is gonna be a gnarly couple of days of travel but I am sure that I will somehow make it in to Indie to do another Camp Freddy Radio. In the world of Skribble and I... We just got done in the studio working with our pal, J Mellow, cutting some new tracks for his record. I'll post them once they are done and mixed.

Cool, I'm curious about the music you mention. Could we expect some sort of "alternative" rock oooooor... It doesn't have to be put in a box, but where are we musically? But maybe it's best for it to be a surprise.
Take care now, bye bye then! :)

Leaving the music in the podcast??
You rebel you!
Though even without the music the "gay jam" CFR is still HYSTERICAL!
Have fun tonight! I can't wait to see CF in May...

Damn, I just read about the passing of Bob Timmins! How sad.
He's been of service and has helped so many people.

Hey you… you’re one busy bee huh? Making movies, working on your new solo album, mixing music with DJ Skribble & J Mello; busy, busy, busy…btw….How ‘s the solo album going?
So so great to hear that Camp Freddy is part of the Give Me Shelter Charity. That hits home for us being that Oct 31, 2007 Margaret and I finally got state custody of her niece and nephew who were in foster care for a little over 1 year, but as you know lots and lots of kids stay in foster care until adult hood… :( so THANK YOU for making a difference in their lives.
YAY! Camp Freddy pod cast with music…Can’t wait for that; baseball season is starting again which calls for long nights so now we will be able to hear the entire show. Have a great show, safe trip & God Bless! Oh and Happy Easter!
Peace and Love
Yoli
Everyone have a great weekend and a Happy Easter!.:) (yes I know it's next Sunday but we are on vaction next week and we promsied that we wouldn't be on the computer..lol) Let's see how that goes...aghhhh.

Hope you have a fun weekend . X 17 had a field day with you and your shirtless look, I guess they don't realize this is the norm for you, a hoodie and no shirt.
It will be nice to have some songs included on the podcast. Then we can hear the interesting music behind the theme.
How about a collection of music from your teen years? I am sure I could relate to yours! I can picture you listening to ABBA on your little am radio!

thanks for that pumpkins clip. never saw it. amazing- I agree.
jimmy chamberlain and perk are interchangeable. what a dynamic duo they would make. thanks again Dave. Truly appreciate you sharing you life with those of us middle class folk who strive for whatever we can.
aside----> THE MERMEN - San Fran band had an instrumental tune called
WITH NO DEFINITE FUTURE, OR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN TO PREVAIL,......SOMEHOW.
I thought of that all week as I went home to bury my good friend back in my hometown Bflo NY.

Yes that project sounds essential, quite often those kids have been through, surrounded by all sorts of chaos, so to have somewhere calm and safe is great.
Also for a lot of them sadly "home" has been an unsafe place in the past which I feel is why they find it a bit harder to create a healthy home environment. Anyway hope you have a great weekend!!!!

Is there a possibility we can get a "Camp Freddy Radio lite" version each week as well?
While music is all well and good, i listen to CFR primarily to hear You and Billy. I like that you had all the music stripped out of previous podcasts.

Oh yeah! Including music will be awesome! I always feel I miss something without it.. since you often talk about the tracks.
I hope you had a great time on the Camp Freddy gig, it's really a good cause.
Also hope you'll have fun with Skribble, but heck, I know you will!
I miss Spread but since I know it'll come back even better.. I think I'll have to be patient.
Much love

Why do I get the feeling I've missed out on a good show..............I'll be hitting those links Amber as soon as you post them!
I read recently in a trash gossip magazine that you were selling your 'pimped' Panic Channel car? Is it true?! I thought it was your ideal car........just wondering why it's going - if it is.
Take one and all..............................SB
PS Yoli....the occasional computer check to keep up on current events doesn't really count as being on the computer!!!
