Starlight Tattoo Opening in Vegas

This was taken at the opening of Starlight Tattoo at Mandaly Bay in Las Vegas last Saturday where Skribble and I did a short set. Thanx to the people at Ascension for joining us on stage with their suspension talents. We had two artists on either side of the stage hanging and swinging from the ceiling by hooks pierced through their backs. Absolutely incredible!
This Thursday on SPREAD we have comedian Bobby Lee and music from Softlightes. We were initially without a first guest this week but I ran into Bobby at the airport. Since he is an old friend, he agreed to join us on Thursday.

Damn...I didn't see the hooks in her back when I first looked at the pic. That Captain Howdy shit always gives me chills. I hope you guys took some video footage for an upcoming show!

Goodmorning Dave!
So, would you ever hang by hooks?
Any update on John Walsh doing the show?
I am working with a group of girls for an upcoming prelim for the Miss America pageants. One girl has a platform on Autism Awareness. Part of my job is to write the interview questions. One of the question focuses on Cure Autism Now. I hope that this helps get the name out there for the cause.
Have a great day!
Always,
me

Ouch.
Seriously OUCH!
No matter how many times you have these hook hanging people on spread I just can't get used to looking it. It reminds me of when someone catches a shark and they hang it by the snout and tail on the dock.

She has those skin burn tattoos. I wonder if you would ever do that, or if you think they're attractive?
FYI, your hair looks awesome!!

Wow, you have yet another female hooked on you!! Well near you. Not actually on you.
I must apologise for my comments about height, I think they came out worse than intended, I hadn't eaten, it was just having been a bit delusional in the past myself I thought I could recognise the signs, but anyway!!
Mucho Apologies - from that cuckoo obsessed stalker type...

I've also noticed the branding tattoo's...OUCH!!! I remember watching Jackass 2 when Bam had some penises branded on his ass and later on he developed this nasty infection from it because they didn't do it properly.... too much for me.
I'm also wondering about John Walsh rescheduling.Btw you guys have to admit, that Kath commotion was pretty funny/fun... at least I thought it was...
Much Love,
Kirsten

Hmm yes Kirsten maybe, but its embarassing going back and reading what I wrote and realising I opened my big mouth AGAIN without thinking...I hope Kath does get to meet Dave Navarro, I too would like to meet him but then he would likely run for the hills or even worse call the police. I just would like to reassure him not to worry anyway he is quite safe from that as I live on a different continent.
Anyway I have never had any desire to have any tattoos but I have to say I am quite impressed with that panda. So is this little girl sat next to me who I suppose should not be looking at this blog really as it is for over eighteens. I scrolled it up so she couldn't see the hooks.

The hooks in the picture are giving me 'the boak' to coin a Scottish phrase. Not normally bothered but I am eating chocolate at the moment. Unsurprisingly enough I am still managing to force that chocolate down.....
Any update as to when/if Spread Ent will be live and have a live audience?
Take care everybody...........................SB

Hey Dave,
HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! I'm glad I can finally comment ya. I've checked in here a couple of times but had trouble posting a comment. I've been away on holiday break and just started my second semester in a communications degree. That's a great picture btw. I still love your site, thanks for keeping it updated.
Hope you have a good day,
Love ya,
Nancy :-) (from New Zealand)

Hey Tiffany, it's alright to make mistakes or feel embarrassed about the last blog comments just as long as you learn from your mistakes. Don't sweat it really. Wow, Dave would have to call the police on you if you met him? I hope you're exaggerating a bit there; hopefully you would be able to maintain yourself.
That leads to another question; Dave I realize that you don't always answer these questions, but I know (or so you say) that you read these comments so I've got to ask how is it that you can't keep these girls away from you haha. I remember watching that one "disturbing clip" that Todd chopped up on Spread of when you went to this party and these "fugly" girls wouldn't leave you alone and Todd was like "these bitches are crazy" :p. I can't remember which episode it was but it was awhile back and the clip was way too long and Todd had depressing music playing along with it and you said the clip wasn't going to be shown again.
On another note, today in Spanish class we was watching an A&E biography on Eva Perón, she was the first lady of Argentina. Anyways, there were some "Navarro's" in the documentary (I realize that there's tons of other people that share your last name that aren't related) but I was wondering have you ever traced back your roots. I remember reading in DTTAH you mentioned about how your grandfather immigrated here after being left an orphan in the Mexican Civil War? Have you traveled to South America?

Damn! i didn't notice the hooks either....Jezus Christ, man! how long was she hung up like that?!
...on a different note, the reason i was posting was because i've finally watched ur show and am yes, i am hooked!...except you need to invest in 'canned applause', that would totally bring it together. Just my $.02- Later.

Holy Canoly. Those hooks look painful. I suppose it was all a rush but regardless - hope the suspension artists were well compensated. :-)
Have a wonderful day.

Kristen-Funny to mention that is one of my favorite stories I have ever read/heard. Esp how the street sign where he just so happened to be turned out to be a lucky/symbolic sign in his family. Destiny is amazing.
Have a blessed day all. Xo-*FuCkeR

Kirsten - would I be able to maintain myself if I met Dave Navarro? Probably not!!!
As for the overexaggeration of the police thing considering I just recently had the police called on me for making a call from a public phone box by this guy who had been in there just before and lost his passport in there and thought I had nicked it,I ended up being searched in the back of the van by a police officer who said he had never met anyone who looked less like a criminal in his life. And I did not have the passport - well... it left its mark...

Hi guys,
Its me again, The one we all love to talk about making a complete fool of herself! Thats okay though if not me, somebody else. Anyway it was fun and funny. I really don't think Dave will ever contact me, with all of the women he has chaseing him what could he posibly want with me. I will meet him someday though. Although I don't think I will tell him who I am, even in the event he did remember which I highly doubt. I am just a nobody that took a chance. When the day comes I get to meet him that will have all changed. Unless its at a Panic Channel Concert or something of that nature. Tiffany, don't worry, Dave is probably used to over excited women when they meet him. And Tiffany don't worry about what you had to say, I got a good laugh out of all of it too. I am sure Dave laughed his butt off over all of it too. After all of that though do you think he would really want to meet me? I don't. So oh well. I still wish him great things in is life and lots of happiness. That Vegas thing is really something though, My brother is the lead rapper for Delinquent Habits, I don't know if you if you have ever heard of him he has met Dave. his name is Ives Martin, and he is really into that kind of stuff. I have one very small tatoo on my ankle, purple and white roses that I designed. And that is all I am ever going to get. The hooks kind of make me sick. Ives took me to see it and it made me sick. so that was it for me. Talk to you later. Kath.

Hi Dave,
You have met my brother Ives of Delinquent Habits, he is really into the tatoo thing. He loves to watch them hang suspended from the air like that. He took me once, really had a bad effect. I like the tatoo's, I have one on my ankle that I designed. But that is it for me, Ives is covered with them like you and still getting more. Spread sounds really entertaining. I wish you would put your pictures back on the web too. I used to have your picture and hungry girl for my screensaver, I keep trying to find it again, but so far no luck. have a great one. See ya.
Kath.

WoooHooo... I LOVE LOVE LOVE suspension. I've done a full body rope suspension, but have never done a hook one yet... Def. on my list of things for my kinky ass to try...
Other than that...it's been rather Twilight Zoneish here in Dave-world huh?
Hope everyone is doing well
Love,
Nicole...who is over 6'2" in heels and would still fuck Dave 7 ways from Sunday.
