Menudo the food is actually quite good if made properly. The Italians make something similar.

The little '80's blonde is adorable. However, I am not kidding about this - I am actually dumber for having seen this travesty. I think I need to throw on some Jane's to shake this feeling.

All it took was about 10 seconds before I recognized THAT video. This gave me instant flashbacks of being 10 yrs old or so, watching Saturday morning cartoons and "Menudo on ABC". (Now that dopey song will be in my head all day!)

Jeez....was that a form of gay torture? Possibly a contender for worst song and video ever....shame Elvis Costello got sucked in at the end of that clip!! I tried to watch it again to pick out which one Ricky Martin was but I could only stand 10 seconds of repeat. I know the name Menudo, but that was a phenomenon that the UK escaped - thankfully. Tripe was bigger than Menudo, possibly better looking, a better singer and possibly a better dancer - whether it tastes better I couldn't possibly say.....

Interesting SE last week...really laughed at the fantastic UFO footage shown. Mrs. Cynical Bitch here is not entirely convinced about the guest though - his name has completely escaped me at the mo - Strieber?? Never read any of his books nor heard of him before SE so I had no opinion of him before the show, something didn't add up for me. What is it with aliens and anal probes?? Once they've done one surely they must have realised what they are going to find in everyone else? What are they looking for?....Menudo??

Hello Mr. Navarro, Did you have a blast this weekend? I bet you did. How funny to see that video. It reminded me when my parents took me to a Pan De Campo Festival in Falfurrias, Texas when I was a kid maybe 10 or 11 sooo the year must have been about 1980.

There were all these items such as koozies, wallets, mugs etc, which read “I Love Menudo”. Mind you there were no pictures anywhere and I totally thought they were talking bout beef tripe…

Anyway I had some allowance money and it was going to be my brother’s birthday so I decided to buy him a koozie. My brother sported his new koozie for months. I‘ll never forget it, It was black with white lettering and a big red heart that of’ course represented “love”.

While on a hunting trip to Colorado our cousins had been teasing him about “loving Menudo” my brother had no idea why the hell they were teasing him…until they met a group of girls at a redneck bar who called out my brother and ask how long had he been a fan…lol the look on my brothers face was priceless. (so they say)....
I don’t think he got the girls number after that…He was teased about being a closet fag.
