Home from AZ and This Week

(How awesome would it be if these two both ended up Presidents?) This Thursday's Spread is going to be out of control... Lots of guests! We have Matt Zane and Tera Wray with a surprise visit from Wayne Static of Static-X, who is currently married to Tera Wray! Also on the show, is Jen from Genitorturers and a performance from musician Pigeon John. This is definitely a hard core cast of characters so if you are uninterested in the sexually liberal world, don't watch! The whole show is in incredibly poor taste and we wouldn't want it any other way! We had a blast shooting this one... Yes, it was pre-taped as I have a commitment on Thursday evening. I am a presenter with Tera Patrick at the X-Biz Awards. I know, I know... "What's with all the porn? When are you gonna play guitar?" Well, speaking of that... My new recording equipment is almost set up and ready to go at what Todd and I are calling our home away from home. The place where we shoot stuff, cut stuff, record stuff and broadcast stuff. He and I are about to embark upon a new project that I will be creating the music for and we are both super inspired to get going. More on this later.

Just got back from Superbowl weekend where Skribble and I did our set at E4 with Tommy and Aero. The whole town was completely insane with jocks, celebrities, artists, musicians and half naked women all pumped up for the big game and parties were going off around every corner. Now, personally, I couldn't care less about the game, but I have to admit that it warmed my little heart to see how excited my friends got about it. Skribble literally turned into a kid on Christmas Day when he finally got his tickets. I was on a plane headed home just in time for kickoff! Skribble and I added some new jams to the set including a mash up of Rage and Jay-Z and a mash up of Chicago and J Mellow. Mellow even joined us on stage to spit out the live vocal and it was amazing. He will also be joining us in Hartford next Saturday.

Do you think Bill and Hillary cringe looking at those old photos? Did Bill own a hairbrush? You know what's really creepy? Have you noticed how much Huckabee and Kevin Spacey look alike? Which has me asking this question-have you ever seen them in the same room?
Hmmmmmmmmm.

Can NOT wait for some new music!

So, if it's going to be Clinton vs McCain I'm looking for 'Other'...

Dave,

Greg Fitzsimmons really doesn't like you. Apparently he didn't like how you were behaving while he was doing his stand up at the porn awards.

Hopefully you'll address his comments towards you today on Howard Stern, when you're in the studio.

SUPERBOWL, I'M CRUSHED!!! I guess having a Victoria's Secret Model as a girlfriend doesn't necessarily make you a winner.

I love the way you amercians say "super" in front of everything! so enthusiastic. I don't really watch porn but iwas reading this review of your film and it said it started out with this left handed woman crying on the bathroom floor and masturbating. That struck a chord with me - apart from the masturbation bit because of course I NEVER masturbate! But then who hasn't lain crying on the bathroom floor at some point.

The news about the new recording equipment is cool, I hope you have a lot of fun making the music and me listening to it. Eventually.

Now a short question:
I remember a few months ago you wrote about trying to quit smoking, and since I haven't followed that much I must ask how's it going?

P.S. That's a great picture, they look so cool! I wonder if Bill listened to The Doors at that time... :)

Sweet! The show AND the new music project just sound rad!
Must say.. I'm digging Bill's hair, way funky. Hillary's smile is just goofy though. The picture def. put a smile on my face!

But back to the music project.. I'm seriously stoked to hear about it and I can't wait for it all to reveal itself. I'm sure it will be awesome. Guess I'll have to wait unpatiently.

Much love
Aggie

Bird... If i could choose my own dream ticket out of everyone that is/was in the running for this election.... Obama/Guiliani (vice). Guiliani's stance on a lot of social issues makes him a winner to me, and i like how Obama is "untouched" by the political machine.

For the record, I am a complete liberal and NONE of the candidates match up on social issues that are important to me. (i will vote Dem in November no matter what though.)

I like the way you say " currently married to" - is this a temporary arrangement?, has it a sell by date??

Looking forward to the music....

Politicians and politics, give me a headache because they appear to lie to get into power and then do what they please. I'm not American, but viewing from over the ocean, Bush has done some very scary things whilst in office - please don't vote in another version of him......

Take care everyone.............................SB

I'm not a fan of Billary at all... Hillary is the devil in disguise... "it wasn't Martin Luther King... it was Lyndon B. Johnson," she should be kicked in the face over and over again for making such an dumbass statement like that. Obama is really inspiring, after that speech he gave at the Lincoln Memorial, reminds me of a present day MLK. Politics... a pain in the ass, enough about it, I can't even vote anyways. Just be cautious of who you put in the White House because the U.S. really needs a turn around, don't put some war dictator in there or I could end up in Iraq myself ;).

Anyways, enough about Bill and Hillary and politics (I don't mean to come off as an asshole either)! I'm really looking forward to this week's Spread as always and most of all, I can't wait to hear the MUSIC you're going to be recording and the project you have going on with Todd!!!

Love
-Kirsten

FINALLY... a "politically" correct celebrity! ;-)

Kirsten, Senator Clinton wasn't incorrect. Then president Johnson signed into law the Civil Rights Act in 1964, He also assigned Thurgood Marshall, a Civil Rights Attorney to the Supreme Court in 1967. No one said MLK wasn't a great man and the Father of the Civil Rights movement BUT if you don't have someone in Washington behind you passing laws, all the marches and speeches are just marches and speeches and there isn't much change.

Outside of that. Since Senator Clinton represents my State in the Senate, please explain to me how she is the "devil in disguise".

In response to Robin’s reply, obviously it takes a President (who was LBJ at the time) to sign a bill into law but to say that it wasn’t Martin Luther King and it was Lyndon B. Johnson who made these “changes” is incorrect. Lyndon B. Johnson wasn’t uniting people, both black and white, at a time when it was the “wrong” thing to do and segregation was in place, MLK was (and many more.) Martin Luther King didn’t only get whites and blacks together to hear his inspiring speeches when he was the leader of the civil rights movement, but they were fighting for the same cause, something they believed in which was equality. Maybe the Vietnam War was an great factor in this, because we were fighting for “freedom” together in an foreign country, black and white (soldiers) together, yet back at home/America we couldn’t sit in the same restaurants; yet we were dying on the battlefront together? No, Hillary didn’t dismiss MLK, but that statement itself was pretty narrow minded. If it wasn’t for the civil rights movement, you think a law would have been pass that would have desegregated us as a nation? No, it took marches and speeches to address these issues and make changes. As Hillary once said, “It takes a village to raise a child.” One person doesn’t make a movement. All Lyndon B. Johnson did was sign some papers because he had the authority too because he was the commander and chief at the time, Martin Luther King didn’t have the power to do so nor did anyone else for that matter in segregated America at the time. Lyndon B. Johnson was also just following in the steps of John F. Kennedy, JFK would have done so, but of course he didn’t live long enough to do so. There’s also a lot of “behind the scenes” when a law is passed. Lyndon B. Johnson acted with a pen; Martin Luther King acted with passion. It doesn’t matter how the law got their in the books, who signed the bill, etc. it’s in the books. It’s there and Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement laid down the foundations for that law. I’m sure if MLK had the power to do so, he would of.

Also, how disrespectful of Bill… falling asleep at a Martin Luther King speech that was given by Martin Luther King’s son. I realize we’re all humans, we sleep and I even laughed at it, but it was also disrespectful. Of all speeches, falls asleep at a speech that was given by MLK’s son in honor of his father. I also love how when he does wake up, he nods his head in approval of what was being said to try to make it look like he wasn’t sleeping? I’ve done the same thing in class before… that’s the only thing we have in common. Each to their own...

If I upsetted any Hillary supporters, then I apologize. I didn't mean to offend anyone....
