Great Show - Bad Sound
Here is last night's Spread with Bobby Lee and The Softlightes. Bobby was fucking hysterical... Probably the funniest guest we have had so far. The unfortunate thing for us is this... The audio is totally distorted. We have been making changes down at the studio where we shoot and for one reason or another, the audio on this show got all fucked up. It is manageable, but the issue does test one's patience. I would recommend getting through it... Bobby's appearance is worth it. The issue has been remedied so next week's show with Moby will be smooth. Plus, since we pretaped the show, I can tell you that Moby joined me for a spontaneous jam where we did Joy Division's New Dawn Fades.

It was a little annoying BUT it was still viewable. And very funny!
It was the weird slow-mo sound towards the end that was a little creepy. It sounded like a sound effects recording from The Exorcist.

I have always had the overwhelming urge to rub Moby's head. I don't know why..I just do.
Have a great weekend everyone and don't do anything I wouldn't do twice...**giggles**

Didn't think the sound was that bad - it's been a lot worse. Funny show, didn't look like you were 'at work', just having fun.
Saw Moby on a British music game show thing recently - sounds worse than it is, it is normally really funny. Normally they have guest who they just take the piss out of for 30 minutes, some take it well, others are stony faced and others walk out - the fall guest for that week was obviously Moby. Initially it looked like it the humour was going completely over his head - American/British humour clash - but he took it, turned it round and was very funny himself. Not what I was expecting.
Anyway....have a good weekend everyone............SB

Will you ever do your internet radio show again? On the phone with your manager produced some funny insights.
Will you ever have members from your many bands visit the show and be guest? A laugh a minute with Lennon. I bet there are some entertaining stories yet to be told.
In some of your earlier blogs, fans of yours sent in recordings of them playing along with some of your original material. Did you ever get any good stuff, if so can we hear it?
Am I boring you?
end of line...

Really made me laugh, sound wasn't that bad - just got upset when it decided it was over at 44mins just after you were talking about not getting naked with friends then it fucked up! And wouldn't let me re-watch and zip forwards to where it had ended. I am grumpy! Bobby Lee with you and Todd was wicked chemistry.
And I love that belt buckle of yours lol..

Hi Dave. Good luck with your radio show and the Spread show. I hope Camp Freddy's next gig is awesome. Thanks for telling me about The Invisible. I love that movie. I just about had a heart attack. The main character reminds me of someone. Only because he looks exactly like him, has the same hobbies, and dresses like him too. He's not dead, he's just gone. Art imitates life. The song remains the same.

Sometimes distorted is good. I recorded something today that was inspired by a tantric massage I received in Berkeley this morning, but I'm not happy with how the music turned out. I put it on the site. Oh well, tomorrow is another day...
Unfortunately I don't watch television programming. But I'm sure the show is completely wonderful!

Completely Unrelated: This morning I awoke from a bizarre dream. Dave performed the role of a medical doctor in some popular television soap opera, and as I was processed through the checkstand at the grocery, I noticed his photo was in all the tabloids next to Jeane Palfrey.
