Thanksgiving
I'm leaving today to go to Houston and do a gig with DJ Skribble, then I am off to New York City where I will be sitting down with Donny Deutsch on his show, The Big Idea. I will be back by Thanksgiving provided I don't run into a Planes, Trains and Automobiles trip back home. Then again, he did make it back in time didn't he? On Thursday's episode of Spread we have actor Edward James Olmos and psychic Belinda Bentley in the studio. The show was pre-taped for the holiday so the Instant Messenger will obviously not be open. Hopefully we will be able to accommodate a live audience by the time we start back up the following week. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions regarding the new space and the show. Also, thank you for your support with the online voting for the TV Guide Awards. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I will try to check in from the East Coast via entries or maybe even Spread Radio Live.

OH let us know which night your going to appear on Donny Deutsch!
Good luck on the travel back to LA on the busiest travel time of the year from the busiest airport in the country. Just in case...you always have an open invitation to our dinner (20 minutes from JFK).
OH and bring a warm coat, it's gotten a might chilly here....

BTW, I forgot to mention that very nice ring you were wearing on last weeks show. Left hand, and looked like maybe there were diamonds involved. Hmm...a gift from your gal?

Have a good week, sounds a million times more exciting than mine!
Thursday will just be a work day for the UK so no holidays to look forward to for me - though I do have Friday off! Might stay up to see the taped SE show live - I'm not sure if there is any sense in that......anyway I hope the random glitches that affected some SE viewers last week have been and gone.
I look forward to any posts or whatever may happen in the next week......on a purely selfish note, if there's a SRL can you do it at about 9pm UK time? That would be 1pm PST or 4pm EST??.......ha, ha and the likelihood of that is......can't hurt to ask!!! Anyhow, enough rambling.
Take care everyone.............................SB

Good news about the live audience, although its been good for me financially to work a full day these past few Thursdays! hahaha
Looking forward to The Big Idea...that show is always interesting and you've been on there a couple times now. Cool that you'll be promoting your own shit though this time around! :)
Well, have fun in Houston/NY and of course a safe trip back.

that's cool. i just locked down what channel cnbc is here...(channel 15 on twc) will set the dvr so i dont miss the show. donny deutch is not someone i watch on a regualr basis.
it would be even cooler if you and skribble did a last minute gig somewhere. keep us posted if that happens.
have fun.

Hey 67addix & Dave, yeah, I was dead serious about my 1 roomie doggie sitting 4 her girl who's in C.I. 4 Women..I wish it wasn't true!! I blogged awhile back on Billy's site that I was scared of where I was living, and that wasn't b.s., either...I see u deleated my Comments Dave about Ms. Atkins..whatever. I wrote from my soul and u censor me. Wow.

Sounds like fun, Dave!
Hope you will tell us when you will be on The Big Idea - love Donny - enjoyed it when you were on his show a couple of years ago. Does the strike effect Donny's show?
Have safe travelling and a good holidy!
Always,

Bird Vaczine, if you are meaning your comments about the Atkins girl you posted a couple of days ago, they are still there! The main title has gone off the blog list but if you scroll back through the open comments it's still there. In a previous Sunday 10, Dave said he didn't censor much - if he has censored, then he's censored everyone on that day...
Never heard of Donny Deutsch.....Margaret and Yoli did you enjoy Dave and DJ Skribble?........

dave just rereading your movie list ha you seem to watch a lot of dark documentaries...the macabre and twisted intrigue you obviously...what are we calling it ''the human condition''...if you don't want to jump off a bridge get yourself fake tits or a new face...murder all your relatives and be totally psychotic chances are you won't get your head on dave navarro's screen...i love you you are sooo selective

what you said about emotions and art being linked was interesting in your sunday 10...if you can't cry don't bother learning the chords kids...i often ponder the receptive
nature of artistic types as compared to less sensitive creative natures...wonder why somebody is gifted naturally endowed with talent and capabilities and think it is directly linked to one's ability to channel emotions...an artist knows how to feel and has the ability through their work to make other's feel ...conduits...
...extremely creative people utilise all emotions with style and aplomb really...usually strong communicators not afraid to make creative or emotional detours in life in planes trains or automobiles

Hey Dave…It my turn to say…
WOW!!…What an amazing performance, Great Collaboration and a HUGE HEARTFELT THANK YOU! You are such a sweet and genuine guy and really, really handsome. Oh, and that little tap dance thingy …to fucking cute! lol. YOU ROCK DAVE NAVARRO!
Margaret and I are very much appreciative to your kindness and the dedication you have to your fans, let me just say Mar and I have taken pictures with other artist and NEVER have they been so kind and warm as you were… No bullshit…Thank you again!
I shared the pics with the nurses at work… and well, they all want to pitch in for a door size poster to hang in their office…Having a poster of you shirtless will make their day and time go by faster as their completing their paperwork lol Thanks again Big PaPa for making that night unforgettable!
Before I close let me just share this with you…. I called home about 11:00 am and Mar was finally going to catch up on some z’s. lol. Lets see after uhu…. 5 days of sleepless nights..lol …Love Ya MAN!

A number of things....
1)Happy Birthday to Vixen for yesterday!
2) Great photos Margaret and Yoli!! I'm curious what you took them on, a phone or a camera? Are you allowed to take cameras into these things? Also good to see who is posting, now I know what you guys look like! I wouldn't mind printing off a picture of Dave for work as well but the abuse I would get from the men in the office is just not worth enduring, even for the delight of a Dave picture!!
3) Bird Vaczine, I can only comment on what I saw, if you wrote more than about 6 lines about a flatmate dog-sitting for a friend of Atkins, then it was edited before I saw it. The entry I'm talking about, I can find by going to the top of this page, clicking on "More to Come", then clicking on "Spread Today", scrolling down and your entry is somewhere near the end I think. I'm sorry I didn't reply to your earlier comments, but I only check this site once a day, in the evening, plus I'm 8 hours ahead - so makes for a delayed response!
A happy week to all.............................SB

It was cool to catch up with Spread, I had to miss a bunch and had a little marathon type vibe going. Looking forward to full band shit happening! I like the new space yet am glad, as a viewer, that it started at the Dragonfly. I doubt I'd be as into it if it started all pro looking and shit, haha!
Bring back MADBALL, they're RAD!
:D
Cheers and thanks for the shows.

No problem Bird Vaczine! Glad you found it...how did I find it? I have moments where I realise I have no life and discover myself flicking through websites wasting time - normally when I have much more constructive things to do....basically I thought it strange your comments were edited, backed up by your 'hurt' at being censored, so I went looking out of curiosity. I wish other things were so easily sorted!.........

Dave, this is a great analogy :)
"Charles "Cootie" Williams – This Mobile-born trumpeter played jazz with Duke Ellington for years and became one of the most sought after horn players in the nation, in effect his era’s equivalent of Dave Navarro…without the eyeliner. Williams was lured to Benny Goodman’s orchestra then started his own band before rejoining Ellington, eventually playing a halftime show at Super Bowl IX."

the pictures were taken with my digital camera nothing major just a f650 Fujifilm. The show was in a night club so cameras are okay. About the guys at work well, its called Jeliousy and unless they look as good as Dave does I wouldn't care what they said lol.

Thanks Margaret, the pics were of good quality so I would've been surprised if it was a phone.
Dave photos at my work? I would just have my life made hell... they can be very cruel!! There would be hats, speech bubbles, toys, food, anything added to the pictures as a joke - the original piccy wouldn't last 5 minutes! I can give as good as I get though - the Angelina Jolie and Kylie Minogue calenders are under constant threat! Actually, the main reason is that it's none of their business - 6767 is a private pleasure all of my own....mmmmmmmm
Well, I hope you guys all have a great Thanksgiving, I'll try not to get too jealous at work tomorrow when I'm trying not to throttle my irritating boss and eating my salad for lunch.....................................SB
