New Show Launch!
Well, I just got over a really fucked up flu... Ughhh! Anyway, now that I am back on track... Here is the latest. We are launching the new Spread show on Thursday, November 8th at 5:00pm PST on ManiaTV.com at our brand new studio. Yes, it will be live! BTW, last week's "Best Of" show is now up and flowing on the Mania site. Also, our new AOL Instant Messenger name is: "spreadchat". No more confusion! This week we have author Neil Strauss and the music of Cage9 on the show.

Hope you're feelin better poor you - hate flu - lose capacity to speak or breathe clearly, life tastes like cardboard - transforms us into something out of an early Spielberg movie.
Going to try and get AOL set up = Neil Strauss, cool dude, sweet that you keep in touch with him. Bet he's happy that you're where you are now. Such a lasting impact D.T.T.A.H had on me and probably many others. Always think would have broken my heart to have been Neil. Yet what a fucking job!! To do the things he does - honestly, to just do what he does - tell life stories, record and portray, great respect for how he does it too does he want some assistance? I've got writerly skills and journo history? I will also beg!! Lose all cool and plead!
SIGH. DAMN I WISH COULD GET MY ASS OVER TO THIS SHOW!!!!
So, um, nutshell - HAVE A GREAT SHOW DAVE lol - looking forwards to it! Um, sorry for the really long post.

Congrats on the new studio move -- can't wait to log onto maniatv tomorrow night to see it. I was fortunate to have attended a live taping at the Dragonfly, so hopefully you'll open up a portion of the new show to the public too. Have fun and keep smiling!

Hi Danni and Carly!!!
Glad you're feeling better Dave, I'm sure you got plenty of TLC.
I know this isn't a Q&A, but I was wondering if spreadradiolive still works for AIM? I don't know how to add your new address, or is just the name changed?

Linda- when you open your aim buddy list there is an icon w/ a +/- sign on the bottom right. Click it and choose the buddy option, and then the add option...badabing...you've just added DN's new screen name. :)

Geeezeee Mr. Man… So sorry to hear you were sick again, you need to give your body time to rejuvenate, you’ve got to rest Dave.
Have you every tried taking Echinacea to boost your immune system? It comes in a tea or pill forms. Its really good stuff it increases your white blood cells and improves your body’s ability to resist infections, almost like a natural antibiotic. “Google It”. Margaret and I take it usually when we start to feel ill and it really helps. (just a suggestion)
Great to hear the show will be live Thursday… There’s nothing better then a live show.
Good Luck in your new venue. Hey just had a thought…any paranormal experiences at home as a result of the Tate chimney piece? (Just curious…hey maybe that’s why you’ve been sick so much…you need to send that rock our way..lol)
Hope you and Nicole are doing well, God Bless you both and rest Dave…rest!
Peace and Love
Yoli
P.S. You haven’t sent out any reminders to vote but, Mar and I are still voting and I’m still “nagging” the Nurses to vote. Think I may give out a gift certificate to the one I catch voting during a walk through Friday hummm! Thinking, thinking, and thinking…trying to be a bet innovative so I don’t sound like a nagger…lol okay….take care!

Good luck with the new venue, glad to hear it'll be a live broadcast, but I think a live audience is a good thing ..... even though I will never be in it.....Amber and friends you are too lucky!!!!
Carrying on with the medical theme..zinc tablets are meant to be good for fending off a cold/flu, vitamin C also. If I've got something creeping up on me, I'll go to the gym - a kind of kill or cure type of thing.
Just listened to CFR, another good one though I have to disagree with your take on Arctic films. I thought John Carpenter's The Thing was scary, the whole sense of loneliness, hostile terrain and not knowing what was human and when it was gonna get you. On the other hand Alien versus Predator was just plain crap!...bad script and bad acting - a definite insult to the previous Alien films.
Also caught up on the Halloween SE, the death tour thing looked interesting. I think I might be too freaked out to have the 'murder' brick in my house though. I was original skeptic about things paranormal, but over the years I've suspected that there are many things out there we don't know about so I am more open to possibilities. The death vibe from a brick is something I wouldn't want to be open to though. If I came across a ghost in my house, even if it was friendly and offered me a coffee, I'd be over the hills and far away, never to return! Still quite sceptical about the person who tried to convince me they were channeling Anna Nicole Smith on 6767 a few months back......anyhow....
Happy late Birthday Deena, great photos!!
Take care all................................SB

You're Welcome Linda!
I have no idea what the email addresses are...usually its the screenname@aol.com
I am assuming the screenname "spreadradiolive" will be used for Dave's radio show and "spreadchat" is for ManiaTv interaction. This helps in cutting back on the IM's during the live SE shows that are requesting a song to be played or just saying "whats up?!" etc. I've heard them complaining about this during past tapings of the show.
Hope that helps my darling! ~Amber :)
PS. *I am in no way affiliated with Dave Navarro or Spread Entertainment* HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

wow! so impressed with the new SE location Dave. Everything looks so pristine and professional. So new infact it appeared as if the plastic from those candles had just been removed. Can't wait until a few shows in when all that candle wax is dripping down and the studio looks a little more worn.
You and Todd looked beautiful.
Listened to camp freddy and I'd have to agree with you about Andy. I think some of his best work was himself.
Much support!
