1. Very nice ring you were wearing on last weeks show. Left hand, and looked like maybe there were diamonds involved.
That is an old Masonic ring.
2. I wrote from my soul and u censor me. Wow.
Um... I have no idea what you are talking about. The last entry got deleted in it's entirety, post and comments and all, but I always delete the Spread Updates when it's time for a new one. No need to take it so personally.
3. Been watching "Broken." Could easily reel off a Sunday 10+ in regard to that - I'll save them until next time you're in the mood!
I have no problem answering those questions.
I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. I spent the day with my immediate and extended family members and then went over to Todd's house and did it all over again with his family. Today I am just lounging around and taking advantage of the fact that business is closed. I'm gonna just watch old movies, order in and take a series of naps.

Hi there Dave! happy long weekend. love that Sleepwalking song from Jantos & johnny you have at the end of show. all the biographies out there say you decided to start playing guitar when you heard hendrix as a child. i read that hendrix, when learning to play, started out with Sleepwalking.
interesting comments on the show last night. do you think you'll have any political commentary guests on the show. and i love ojai boards. there is an internet site where you play online but in person is the best of course.
I'm working today & tomorrow, bahhh, but have a fab day everyone.

Bird Vaczine, your entry has definitely gone now...went looking again...whole page deleted as Dave said....at least you got a mention!
Can I safely assume that the whole of the US is lolling around like a beached whale complaining of a sore stomach at the moment?
I fancy a good nap...tried to sleep in today but postman rang door bell and ruined that. Then tried to have a nap at lunchtime and my neighbour rang the doorbell 10 mins later - after that I got the hint and gave up. Could sleep for a week now!
Happy weekend all.................................SB

Hey - happy to hear you had family orientated fun.
And also, you just melted me. Thank you so much for number 3. Here are 10 "Broken" questions off the top of my head / fingertips:
1) The start of the film - plenty of fantastic aesthetic, artistic angles with the camera - loved the lighting and tone. Is there any particular part of the film which is your favourite or you're the most proud of?
2) Did this inspire you to direct other subjects?
3) Why adult ents - you mentioned the rapidity of the industry - is that what attracts you, (speed from concept to finished product) or was it content / people driven?
4) Seems to be a flexible market - is that true?
5) I saw the behind the scenes directive - so I understood the aim and gotta say as a viewer seeing you wandering around the set was pretty cool, kept making me smile - I wondered if your girl DID mind as there was no kissing lol? Or involvement in scenes - it was suggested - I know I am being cheeky here but I wondered what changed?
6) Truth - was it sexy? Did you find it sexy at any point? Did you detatch from the subject or was it just not sexy in that personal kind of way?
7) Did you find that making / being involved in an adult ent flick altered how you saw or felt about sex itself?
8) Did making Broken change any preconceptions that you may have had of the adult industry? On any level?
9) Who inspires you directorwise? Did you just go for it - or were there people or films that you knew in the back of your mind that you wanted to draw upon?
10) You looked really relaxed and at ease - how did the experience compare to making music videos and doing Spread Ents features? Is it similar or totally different?
DN - I love you! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to just ask.
Have a great day chilling out - you deserve it.
Sweet dreams in those naps.

I have a question Dave...
My family is coming down to visit, and I want to take them to a nice resturant with great food to celebrate. Are there any resturants (in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area) you could recommend where you get both the upscale/LA environment, while not necessarily getting raped by the $75+ per plate prices?! There are soooo many to choose from...and you're the only person I have access to who could recommend something from extensive personal experience!
Happy Friday everyone...enjoy your holiday weekend. Love, Amber

Yo Dave!
When the time comes, are you going to comment on Mr. Avery's new album?
So far, I've only listened to one song. And I gotta say: fucking genius. (Is it allowed to swear in here?)
Hugs, take care... long time no talk

Thank you Dave, I did have a lovely Thanksgiving. I was able to eat way too much, see my family, drink some wine, and play a few board games.
I unfortunately did not get to take a series of naps. I worked..picked up the slack for everyone that had off.
As BK wants to know, when are you appearing on The Big Idea?
Would you ever consider being on a show, reality or otherwise again or is SE enough for now?
Anywho, Hope you are living la vida loca;) KISSES- Db

Hi Dave I hope you enjoy your series of *cough* naps *cough* ahem, awwww overdid it working yourself to the bone cooking all that thanksgiving dinner! My question is; did you have sweet potatoes with pecan nuts inside and marshmallows on top? Because that sounds pretty disgusting to me, I was just wondering whether it was some American tradition thing.

Damn. The new wildfire destroyed 50 homes...including Flea's house. Dave, thought you'd wanna know this in case you didn't already. Saw this on the aol newsboard:
"Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Flea, aka Michael Balzary, said in a text message that a house he owned "had burnt to a crisp," the Los Angeles Times reported."

Missed ANOTHER SRL - I'm destined never to hear one of those live!
Also destined to miss a lot this week too, I'm off on a residential course for my work this week so I'm looking forward already to catching up on Friday! Hopefully I can use the internet but safer not to assume!
Take care Dave and everyone and have a good week!............SB
