Spread on Thursday: Sherah Muller and Datarock
Tonight is the Movie Release Party for Broken! We start at 9:00pm at Bordello at 901 E. 1st Street, LA, CA 90012. If you woud like to attend, simply R.S.V.P. at brokenreplyparty@gmail.com.
Sorry I have been away for a while, I have been doing a bunch of different things this week. Earlier in the week I went into the studio here in LA and recorded a few things for the new KHZ album. It was the first time I have ever done anything like this. Pull sent me a track from New York via e-mail and I took it and laid a guitar part on it and sent him back the file. As much as technology has hurt the music business, it can sometimes help the creation of music itself. It was a lot of fun and an honor to be a part of their new album. I also went out to Vegas for a 24 hour trip. DJ Skribble and I did a set at Moon, a nightclub at The Palms casino. That was a blast and the Vegas crowd was killer, even on a Tuesday night they were out of control. Skribble and I did a bunch of live mashed up stuff like Zeppelin with L.L. Cool J, Rush with Beasties and even Jane's with Missy Elliot. Sure, it's not rocket science but it sure is a lot of fun! Todd came out and filmed the set so maybe I can get a clip out relatively soon.
In just a few days, TV Guide will announce the inaugural ONLINE VIDEO AWARDS, which will debut on MY NETWORK TV on December 5, 2007 and be re-broadcast on the TV GUIDE NETWORK. These awards will honor the best professional content on the internet. Spread Entertainment has been nominated for Best Talk Show! As soon as we get the voting information, I will post it. Please help us take it down! Speaking of Spread:

Many Navarro things happening and I am missing most of them!! I'd contemplated RSVPing to the Broken party, but I haven't quite saved up for the supersonic jet to get me there in time from Scotland......also got work tomorrow so no live SE.....darn.....
I was really happy to see the SEs on 6767, but they disappeared almost immediately - is there any chance of them being permanently on this site?? They just played so much better.
Have fun with all your activities today and take care everybody.................................SB

DN you are a sweetie! Ace post thanks "dude". Lovely to hear what you're upto - have a great time at the party and how lovely are you to open the invite out to us. DAMN I WISH I LIVED OVER THERE.
Completely looking forwards to seeing you and Skribble do your stuff, in any format!!
re KHZ I got a friend who just did that with a dance track - email and mix, they're called Speculum - also another friend's band (two brothers in Canada) MUSICBLOOD work similarly. They're both on myspace. (Shockingly.)
VOTING info will be taken seriously!!
HAVE FUN.

Hope your movie does well, Dave. You should star in your OWN film. Looking forward to your next solo record.

Hmmmmmmmmmm who was that who suggested a while back on your blog about recording with internet files? who was that...her name is....ummmmm it's on the tip of my tongue, starts with a "R"....
;-)
Anyhoo...I'm thrilled Pull asked you to record stuff for their new CD! I was sure the new CD would be insane but now...wow!
I hope besides the show being nominated for the Online video awards that some some Todd's vinettes gets a nod. He's done some interesting things!
We're having some WICKED weather right now and we were in a tornado warning (yes tornados in NY, what's next? Locusts?) but I'm wondering if I get swept up in the tornado and end up in Oz, if I'm already the height of a munchkin...do I end up in the land of VERY tall people?

How cool about the online awards. Can't wait for the voting information.
Looking forward to Spread tonight, as a recovering bulImic (subtle enough?) myself, it will be interesting to see what she has to say.
Take care Dave,
Nicole XOXO

That would have worked better if the lower case L and the capital I didn't both look the same.
