Moving
The Amazing Swiffer Vac - Hard Wood Floor's Best Friend
Last night's show was a lot of fun! Tim & Eric are super funny and Adriana was a total pro. I don't know why last week's show isn't up with Andy Milonakis but I am going to get it up there a.s.a.p. The shows are becoming super streamlined and a lot easier to do... A controlled looseness that I love. Next week we have Gene Simmons and Margaret Cho in the studio so you won't want to miss that. I haven't been blogging all that much recently as there has been so much going on. I am still in the process of moving into my loft and as you know, that is a huge undertaking. The way I do it is this... I get rid of everything I haven't used or worn in the past year and go as streamlined as possible. I can't imagine moving with everything I owned... That would be a huge mess. I just brought some clothes, computers, cars, art, furnishings, toiletries and I am good. I think living out of a suitcase for all these years has been helpful to a degree. Other than getting all of that together I have been working with DJ Skribble on some upcoming shows, Spread Entertainment, a couple of shoots here and there and hanging with Todd, Larissa and my girl. Once the move is done and I am all settled and have gotten some travel out of the way... It's time for work on another record. I want to go super DIY and maybe write and record everything here.

the Swiffer products: FINALLY!! you bring up housekeeping products: now that's something i know about, after embarrassing myself by confusing Jack White with Jack Black.
the Swiffer wetwipes to mop the kitchen & bath floors are fantastic too. i also use to wipe the windowsills and the blinds and stuff. great tool.
i love the recent CF video, you guys sound great and Todd did a super job with that.

Ok...the mental image of you pushing around the Swiffer is incredibly hot!
Please...someone tell me I'm not alone in this thought?

Cars plural? I could be pedantic and say that's not very streamlined as you can only drive one at a time, however, I would be a hypocrite as we have 3 cars and only 2 in the household. Unfortunately, we have 3 because we bought one and couldn't sell the other, serves us right really, thought it was a bargain. Well, it was, but now we have 3, blah, blah.......
Missed the regular blogging to some degree however, if you feel you have to do it because people keep asking, then it becomes a chore and then it stops being fun, then you don't want to do it, then it annoys you, turns into a cycle, etc. Over the months, I've noticed 67ers can pretty much amuse themselves with the occasional blog scrap (I've typed enough rubbish to last a lifetime..). There's still SE, CFR, CF and other things so it's hardly like you've become a hermit Dave! Anyway, those are my thoughts, been through that cycle.
Will there be a CFR tomorrow?
Happy weekend everyone!....................SB
PS - Depends what he's wearing whilst pushing that Swiffer........(Bloody Hell! Just had a mental image of the opening of the Queen video for "I Want to Break Free" flash through my head - Freddy Mercury, moustache, fake boobs, short skirt, high heels, vacuum cleaner - that is one hell of a mental image...).

gene's rock n roll high school show in britain was quite amusing i used to enjoy him coaching the kids on their instruments and with the vocals he has a dry sense of humour and surprisingly good with temperamental children it was like harry potter on drugs but funnier did he ever raise any children of his own?his tally count of women he had sexual encounters with was phenomenol so he must have had at least one or two kids and his ex wife looks like blonde nicole over on your myspace page he's put on a few kilos since he donned the kiss suit...needs to use the swiffer to streamline whilst listening to strutter on his ipod amazing how many calories housework burns it's a cardio weight resistant workout that defeats the gym yet somehow i can't imagine dave navarro with a dust wipe getting into every nook and cranny of this loft in a french maid's outfit after getting back from the gym and late nights with dj skribble...you're over the fishnets phase i think...into the new age metro macho man now...domesticated with internet savvy groomed and impeccably dressed in versace and pin striped tailored pants dining on sushi...god knows where rock n grungy roll can fit into this merger...no more shooting needles on toilet seats in change rooms on fast food wrappers in the back of sleazy seedy clubs...it's a 360degree spin into the straight conservative world of the born again rich...''i just bought $$$$$$$ WORTH OF STUFF AND I'M GOOD''streamlined ego:)you'd be even better if you donated $$$$ to me but hey...

Hello =
Karen in reading your post, I HAVE To correct.
Gene has two children of his own, Nicholas and Sophie. They are teenagers. He is not married to his common law wife, Shannon Tweed. If you want to catch him in a current reality show, watch Gene Simmons family jewels on A and E.
Being a KISS fanatic, I had to answer!!
Happy weekend, DN-enjoy your gal and your Swiffer!:)

i spent a week in wilmington nc for work, lovely time, wroked hard. Dave when you have time give some organizational tips for road warriors like us. it made my day to end the day, work out then come back to my quiet hotel room, fire up the lappy (lap top) and watch spread.
those swiffer dry floor clothes are the best for dust bunnies on my vinyl florring at the "helm" in charlotte. i named my home, the helm. lol. for humor, my home has been without hot water for 3 months, i had a utility glitch, but never got it fixed b/c i "have to be home" to sign papers, prove i'm the owner, that sort of thing. but its so hot i dont need a too warm shower. meaning it was not presssing to fix. then i am always working to pay all these bills and taxes. its not the $$, i have $$. so next, i promise to get this fixed and have hot water back.
please have Margret Cho talk about her parents, its just too funny. her and her brother have stories!

Who knew you could get handy household hints off Dave's website! The man is truly multi-talented!!
Personally, I like a bit of mystique, perhaps let my imagination run riot? I like mine with a bit of wrapping, you can always rip it off later! The wrapping wouldn't include a bad wig, fake boobs, tight tank top and mini-skirt though. High heels perhaps..............

Just to let you know, last night in the Jones Beach Theater parking lot as we killed off a bottle of vodka before the AIC/VR show, we BLASTED "deconstruction" from my car stereo speakers. Just to be rebels.
Jesusmaryandjoesph-does Jerry Cantrell EVER age? Seriously. AIC sounded EXCELLENT! Seeing them brought back so many memories. Gotta give William Duvall props, dude had some big shoes to fill and does a great job!
VR was good, not the BEST VR show I've ever seen. Scott was having throat issues. :-( But the boys put on a good show anyway.

CC!!!! Since Dave hasn't answered our question about his porn debut yet....maybe this will inspire him....from Dallas News.....
... Rocker Dave Navarro knows his porn – he briefly dated Jenna Jameson – and now he's going to direct some. The feature-length Dave Navarro: Broken features an all-star porn cast, but no Jenna. It will be released Sept. 27.

The UK version of the Enquirer doesn't know who the mystery blond is either (I didn't buy that rubbish mag, just was flicking in a lunch hour!!). The story went along the lines of 'Dave Navarro and mystery blond spotted in 'some' club all over each other', then some comment about getting a room and lots of alcohol being delivered to their table - was it delivered in a truck?! Anyway, the same old sensational rubbish story. There are loads of drunk (unless Dave has fallen off the wagon, the Enquirer got it wrong there) people all over each other in the local clubs, but they never make the news, it's a big 'WOW' if you're famous apparently! Anyway, hello everyone!............................SB

I read that the film "Broken" is with Teravision, that Tera Patrick and her husband Evan Sienfeld own. It supposedly has scenes of Dave directing Sasha Grey, who the article said is a teen porn star??? Any comments Dave?

music to porn? congrats? i mean i love porn; who doesn't? you're probably the only one who can cross over...i think you're just the only one who went the other way.
can you offer some insight to the art of directing when it comes to porn?
seriously.

"avarro is not contributing any of his own music to the project, but he is personally supervising the soundtrack.
"We're getting a great hard rock band with a female vocalist to score the movie," Navarro said. "They do everything from super-heavy, hard metal to really ambient, hypnotic trance-electronic music. They cover a wide spectrum of emotion, much as the film does from scene to scene. Within the theme of female empowerment, to have a female vocalist fronting such a heavy band is appropriate."
So, who is it, Dave? khz? That would be my vote.
