You know I'm such a loser. I was so tired last night from a full day out in the blazing NY sun/heat having a muthafucking yard sale that I tuned into CFR, started listening and it took me a full 35 minutes of listening for my brain to realize Jeordie was Twiggy.
Now that made for some GREAT radio!!!

I love when you have a guest on either SE or CFR that you have a history (either minor or major)with because you seem more relaxed and the conversation just flows...

Have a great relaxing Sunday!

I got to listen to part of CFR last night on my way up to Huntington Beach, what a great show! I loved the Iron Maiden story, that's my sons all time favorite band.

Goodmorning, Dave~

You enjoying my birthday???? Anyhow, I have tried to watch the 8 minute tape from Erotica, but it keeps giving me trouble. I made it half way through today - did I hear correctly you are going to host a party in Pittsburgh? If so, will you give the details?

Always,
me

I just found out my friends and I will be in LA during the first week of August. Hopefully, there will be a live show at the Dragonfly that Thursday!! Can't wait to see all the action in person.

Hope everyone is having a good start to their week! Love, Amber :)

Just watched that gas station video clip form Dave's myspace - my husband and I both reckon it was static electricity that started it, she really ought to ditch the top she was wearing! Scary thing to happen though!

Talking of myspace, is it possible to get a link at the top of the blog with all the others because I keep having to scroll to the post above Miss Universe for a link? If there is a link and I am just being a total idiot, can someone point out where it is?

Just downloaded CFR, so hopefully will get a chance to listen tomorrow.

Take care everyone..........SB

Dude, are you ever allowed to eat fucking dinner in a restaurant without it making the fucking gossip sites?
Now there's riviting news..."Dave Navarro eats dinner, news at 11"

Posted by: Robin [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 9, 2007 09:54 PM

Dave!Dave!
i just got a great idea. i always get ideas when i decide to not cook dinner and instead eat snacks for 2 hours straight (popcorn rice cakes, Italian salami and power bar tonight). but anyway my idea is that this thursday you set up a little table and 2 chairs, Parisian style, in front of the Dragonfly say, oh, about 4:30pm. Invite a lady over to eat with you and when the gossip arrives, have a news conference about your show. yeah

What a great idea Season, I'll meet you there. Wow Dave, messing around with Jack Bauer's daughter? HaHa

BTW, with all the videos clips in lieu of a regular post, it's beginning to feel more like You Tube than 6767! J/K?

Posted by: Linda from San Diego [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 10, 2007 11:57 AM

Thanks Amber, I probably should have thought of that but I am a computer idiot!

Re the myspace picture, I do not want to know where those fingers are being inserted.......

Maybe it's a slow news day in the gossip sites - Dave eating dinner is a highlight. Was he naked and swinging from a lampshade at the time?......that would probably be newsworthy for anybody.

Europe got a beating on CFR! I have been one of those backpackers going round Europe, but I was 21 at the time and it was probably my first holiday abroad. Places look and feel different when you're on holiday or working. Working they are a lot less fun. I love to travel though, if I had shit loads of money and didn't need to work, I would definitely try to see as much of the world as possible. It also helps if you can speak a few words of another language. I kid myself that I can 'speak' French and German a bit.

I got the first part of my first ever tattoo today. I can't say it wasn't painful, but what a big deal some people make of it!! I gritted my teeth a couple of times, but then started to daydream. Giving blood can be more uncomfortable than that experience!!

Might catch SE live this Thursday!

Happy Tuesday all.............SB

While you're at it you might dig up someone who has Body Integrity Identity Disorder
-> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apotemnophilia
I read a pretty good article about a man in the East Village who was afflicted. FYI, notice the word usage disorder at the end!!!

I just looked up that Apotemnophilia, I never heard of that before. Very interesting!
And who says the internet is a waste of time...

Dave, I hope you're going to rerun that Captivity show on Mania TV, because I fuckin forgot to watch it!!!!

On a more fun note, if Hanoi Rocks ever plays LA I'd love to hear you interview Michael Monroe one on one about his views of today's street glam music scene, since Hanoi Rocks are true purveyors of the scene, and are still alive and kicking, YOO HOO!!!
-> http://www.myspace.com/hanoirocksofficial <-
p.s. Years ago I did see Michael Monroe solo live and he was awesomely amazing!!!

p.s. wavewatcher, ain't that a trip!!!

You know I listened to that radio program, I don't usually listen to them, you have a good radio voice.

Did you say the internet was the devil? Yep, it can be sometimes, very inhumane, maybe because people forget that they are communicating with a real human being behind the persona presented on the internet. And sometimes the persona presented on the internet can really be misinterpreted or read wrong. Ive always got a big suprise the few times i met someone in real life off the internet.

The thing is, they are just people with insecurities, whatever, so its not worth getting upset over, or attacking back. The internet can be a lot of fun and entertainment so its a shame to let your pleasure in something be spoiled. x
