1. Who has been your favorite Spread guest to date and why did you find them so interesting?
Everyone has been totally different. I love the train wreck style of the Bridgette Nielsen interview, but then having good friends such as Billy and Circus Diablo is killer too. I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be either Liam Sullivan or Sad Kermit, primarily because these are artists we just found on the Internet and having them realized as guests was pretty rad. The cutter and Tabitha Stevens were great up close and personal guests too. I suppose in the end I can't really decide.
2. Would you ever consider doing a "dating" show like Bret Michaels is on VH1's Rock of Love?
I have been approached for a number of reality type things. I would say that a concept would have to be extremely different to peak my interest at this point, having done three seasons of reality TV.
3. Are you still intending to put out another solo album?
Yeah I am, but without a major label and a management company, other than The Spread Group... The company Larissa and I have started together. I still want to do more Panic shows as well and possibly get another record together. I don't know which will come first. As for anything solo, it would probably be a collection of self indulgent and artsy music, much like the original Spread recordings.
4. How's the plans going for getting the SE show in a "studio"? Any time frame?
We have already begun looking at some spaces for a permanent location to move into within the next couple of months. Once in, we will more than likely be doing more than one show a week and also begin producing other content for ManiaTV.com.
5. If you were a single girl and you hadn't had a date in 6 months and there were 2 married men chasing after you, what would you do?
Feel good and validated that you are being chased after. Everyone likes to be the object of another's desires. Beyond that... I would suggest you stay away from giving in at all costs. Nothing but pain and anguish can come from a dynamic like that for not only you, but for the wives as well.
6. Are you loosing desire to be primarily focused with set band, with specific members, or are you in a place where you'd rather musically "play the field"?
I have only lost that desire with the majors. Here is the deal, they spend all this money on videos, photo shoots, producers, studios, remixers, single mixers, art work and promotion etc... Then they throw a song at radio to see if it will stick. If it doesn't... You are pretty much dead at the label if you are a new band. Then, when you are ready to go on tour, you are told, "Well, we spent x amount on xyz, so there is no tour support to send you guys out." As a result of how things are working, or not, it's time to just focus on being creative in whatever capacity we can be. If that means playing the field, then so be it.

HELL I HAVE MISSED THIS DN!!!!
Brilliant to have you back.
I have another question by the way:
Have you got a crush??
Have you ever had an online or otherwise crush??
Do you act on them??
It's your fault I joined myspace 50 weeks ago and it seems to me the whole subtext of myspace is.. CRUSHSPACE. I give up. They're all out the woodwork now. Seems only fair to ask you...
Much love. xox

Dave,
Any plans to hit up NYC when you do a mashup with DJ Skribble any time soon? The East Coast crew has an opening you can fill on Aug 17 (Ozzfest 8/16, VR 8/18, Circus Diablo 8/19)...come on out!
Love,
Sue

Hey Dave! I have a question for you.
The Christmas song you did with Camp Freddy. Is there any possible way you can put it up on here so we can download it? It's always stuck in my head and I like the song!
Have a good one!

oh sweet Amber, would that I could.....heavy sigh, unfortunately no rest for the wicked, but I'm hoping in the next couple weeks
Hey Dave, long time no type!! Great to hear that you and Riss have formed a company together.
Here's a question..Would you consider giving guest passes to your private Camp Freddy show on Friday to someone in the studio audience at Thursday's Mania TV taping? Maybe someone who could answer one of your famous movie quote questions without having the benefit of Googling?
(see, Amber, I'm trying to help you out, honey)
A shout out to my dear CC, who finally met you in person the other week, after talking to you on the phone during my CFR gig and grabbing your leg at the Katrina benefit.
Definitely let's make plans for a family get together!!
All my love to you and yours,
jezzi(lost in the vortex)

hey dave,
if you were to do another panic record and say,
record it at your own studio(example)
then sell it through itunes...would you make more profit than what the major label would give you??
part 2.....
would the profit then be enough to embark on a worldwide tour???
thanks paul.

Some porn chick named Stormy was trashing you on a radio show today......I won't get into details but the story involved masturbation, sticking fingers in asses and eating spooge.

Amber, damn I wish I could make it there Thursday. I love Godhead, and I would sure like to meet you. My life is crazy right now (yeah I know, what's new?) It's kinda funny if it wasn't so fucked up. My friend, that I'm staying with, had mold in her bathroom and kitchen. They had to remove the kitchen sink and the toilet. The kitchen and bathroom are zippered closed. To make matters worse, I just banged my head on the side mirror of a RV. I have quite a big lump, it knocked me senseless! Can you tell? HAHA

Dude, did you just catch your friends on myspace? Taking request via IM?
That was VERY cool! And they sounded awesome! Unfortunately the live audience was as lively as a morticians convention.
See myspace is good for something!

Dave i hope i get to meet you sometime when i am in LA area. I met Marty Casey over the weekend at the Monterey Summer of Love, he was just as sweet as when he was on RS with you. i hope you do another one of those RS shows (oh, everyone please don't throw something at me, hhaha). its overwhelming to meet a rock musician, much different than other famous people. now i truly understand that whole groupie thing i missed out on.
I look forward to whatever project/music/self-indulgent stuff you offer, you're a rare individual. i'm happy for you that your life is full.

Good eve Dave-
Amber have a great birthday and great time:)
Dave, we know how you are trying to change the music industry.
Aside from supporting indie bands-what as consumers can we do to change the music industry?
or is it too late?

Oooh, a 10! (or a 6 - I'll take any. I miss your Sunday 10's). You'd think I'd be all prepared with a question, but alas, I am not. Just wanted to say "hey".
Girl who asked #5.... listen to Dave. Messing with a marriage = disaster no matter what. Not worth the regret no matter how long it's been since your last date. Hold out for the single ones, girl!

please put new music out, we need it!
while beauty or normal attractions are part of life. if a girl wants to stop being chased...one thing i have tried and found true in some venues or for me, the land of "corporate stupid" was picking up 2 wed lock oriented rings for both hands, wearing it when needed, the "chase" ends there. taken means taken its sacred. i like to keep the undesirables away. now if only i can hide my tale in my lame biz suits, lol.
