To wavewatcher, I think I'd prefer the surgery to the football match!!! I've just finished watching a programme on extreme LA surgery, or whatever, and apparently you can get toe shortening surgery! If your toes look too long in your shoes, you can get them shortened so that they are 'perfect'. Madness.... I think it's funny you weren't allowed past the door - you'd think it was a matter of national security!

I've nearly finished that Manson/Strauss book. There are some disturbing stories in it, I sincerely hope it's bullshit, if not......? I have laughed at it as well, Manson can be very funny when he wants. There's also a picture of Dave in the back looking like he needs to lie down!

in Monterey its the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love festival and I just found out that Lukas Rossi, Marty, Storm Large and the House Band!! have been added to the line up which includes Robbie Krieger/Ray Mazarek/Brett Scallions and acts from the 1960s (many of whom still perform today).

Dave, Maybe you can stop in and play with Storm?? they are on Sunday July 29 (festival is also Saturday).

There's also another Manson book which was published in 2000 - which I think he co-wrote. I ordered it from Amazon back in Feb and they keep promising me it'll be 'another 6 weeks'. I'll believe it when I see it. Not sure if it is any good but it got a decent review on Amazon....

Just wanted to let you know that I can't stop watching that adorable little boy on the Verizon commercial. He is the cutest,smartest,most appealing little boy I have ever seen in my life! I have a feeling that the little boy just might be Luca. If he is I can see why you have a tatoo with his name. His acting was superb and his smile makes me smile. I never got into the Nip/Tuck, Shield, Lost stuff. I'm more of a science fiction nerd, plus a CSI LV and Law and Order Criminal Intent nerd - or as I unimaginatively call it 'Criminal in a tent'. Failure to record an episode of Battlestar Galactica 2000s version is likely to result in some unpleasant injury being done to whoever gets in my way....as I said...a nerd......SB
