Spread Entertainment: Tonight & Update

Tonight is a new Spread Entertainment on ManiaTV. (You know, every time I spell check a post with ManiaTV in the paragraph, it wants me to make it manatee.) Don't forget, we pre-taped this one so we aren't down at the Dragonfly today. Also, episode 5 is now up and archived in it's entirety. Tonight, 6/21: Mark Mahoney, Jila the Fire Girl and Murrugun the Mystic ~

Next week and once again live, 6/28: Tabitha Stevens & psychologist Dr. Leslie Davis will be on to discuss plastic surgery and animal psychic Belinda Bently.

If you want to sign up for the show newsletter for reminders and updates regarding future episodes, you can do that here.

Next week's show should be awesome...Tabitha is FREAKISHLY addicted to surgery. It's no longer surgery to "enhance" or "refresh" with her. I also question the Doctors who do surgery after surgery on people who are addicted to surgery. They are no better than a drug dealer-taking cash money from the addicted.

But I will tune into the "live" taped show tonight!

I agree, next weeks show will be awesome. Have a great weekend everyone!

That's such a trip.
I watched the disc 2 of Nip/Tuck's first season last night, (finally got around to watching it...good stuff so far) and afterwards while driving to get some smokes I straight up thought, "I wonder if Dave will ever have a psychologist on to talk about people who get plastic surgury? That would be some good shit."

Needless to say...I'm really looking forward to that segment. Love, Amber :)

I second the motion for an SRL afterparty Deena! Great idea.

So glad to hear you are returning to Erotica LA this year Dave. I can't wait to see what you & Todd put together from this event. My husband & I always have a good time (there & again at home!!!)

Looking forward to tonights show,
Trini

That's so strange... I was seriously just thinking about Tabitha S's plastic surgery addiction the other day for some reason. Just one of those random thoughts. Wondering what it must feel like to be her. To be able to afford ANY procedure, to be as close to physically "perfect" as possible, and still not be happy.

That interview should be quite fascinating.

I REALLY hope to make it home on time in time tonight for this week's ep. (Thank God for recaps.) I still have to finish last week's episode. I saw the Bridgitte interview, and I'm still processing that... lol.

All in all, really digging it all.

Have a great day!

Cheers,

I haven't heard of Tabitha Stevens, but I assume she has a similar addiction to the Wilderstein woman - the one who wants to look like a cat? I could spend a lot of money trying to make myself look perfect, but I think you lose perspective and then end up with a face that's so taut it doesn't move. Looking forward to all the upcoming shows....

On my last post I got 'wazoo' off the spell check for 'wahooooo' which entertained me for a while - I was in that kind of mood.

I'm away from a computer for a few days, so have a great weekend everyone.............SB

Hello Dave,

For your "manatee" problems, right click and add "ManiaTV" to your dictionary. Unless, you're like me and can laugh at something a thousand times.

Dude, seriously.....
The convention on Long Island that Mark was talking about is no more...what happened was a few years ago a throw down happened there between the pagans and the hells angels. Someone was killed. End of the LI Tattoo convention.

But we still have the convention in Manhattan every May at Roseland. And it's just as bad ass.

Wow...great show!! I really enjoyed listening to Mark, he reminds me of an Italian mob boss. When I make the move to LA in the fall I'll definitely be going to see him for some work.

And that Muggun(?) guy was off the chain! I almost couldn't watch...but then I had to, you know?

It was a great hour of interesting entertainment and social commentary, yet again. Thanks for doing what you do and keep it comin! :)

Is Tabitha the one who looks like a cat? She did it all for a man I think, bah they're not worth it..

I used to work in a plastic surgery hospital making meals for people who just had operations.
A lot of famous people went in there *undercover* under different names but don't worry...I won't be mentioning any names.. like the Beckhams... or Jordan...and a certain politician..no no... my lips are sealed...

Tabitha is a former Adult Entertainer who has taken cosmetic surgery to an extreme level:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabitha_Stevens

Jocelyn Wildenstein is the woman who wanted to look like a cat and spent over 3 mil on surgery. She was married to a wealthy NY art collector and had a MESSY divorce.

These are just two stories in the naked city....
I'm sure there are plenty more just like them!

I went to a psychic twice. She was wrong about everything. $70 down the drain. Oh well.

Keep this girl in your thoughts today:
A 13 year old had her feet cut off on a ride at the 6 Flags in Kentucky. Poor thing.
That's like something out of a horror movie. Ouch!!

DN - Hope you're having a great weekend.
Have just been looking through the archives, I have been here for a year now - can not believe how easily I can remember nearly every post and yet how much life has happened in between. It's been amazing watching, listening and sharing all the stuff in your world.
Big love (and probably too much soppy goo).

I see I wasn't the only one away from a computer this weekend!

Tried to watch SE6, but as usual it won't play properly - what is it with the damn thing only playing for me at the weekend? Well at least I can watch it at some point, just not when I'd like.

A friend of mine has 5 horses and she got an animal psychic in to 'converse' with them, I think she also got her cats done. I am a cynic when it comes to this, because if you watch an animal long enough you can get a rough idea of its personality without being psychic - every animal has its own personal traits. The psychic was vaguely close to what I believed the horses were like, but I'm not convinced they 'told' her, I think she just watched and then fed my friend a load of shite. We did have a laugh about one horse allegedly being 'deficient' in the brain area and liking 'purple shiny things'. Shortly afterwards the vet paid a visit and parked his car too close to the field. Charlie saw a blue shiny thing and proceeded to drag his teeth up and down this car's bonnet, ha ha, how we laughed in private. The vet was understandably furious, but it was his own fault, he should have known better - he is a large animal vet after all!.......That animal psychic might have been right after all about purple shiny things, but Charlie is just colour blind....

It's not summer in Scotland yet, it made an appearance for a couple of days in April I believe.

Take care everyone.........SB

Oh yeah, forgot to ask why wavewatcher won't dish the dirt on the surgery stuff - did you sign a 'secrecy contract'? Is there dirt worth dishing? I think most of the UK and possibly western civilisation know about Jordan and her breasts, she talks about them and stuffs them in front of every available camera enough times. I think you could say the same about Victoria Beckham's breasts, but only for the reason that they look completely and utterly unnatural and then she pretends she's not had any work done. You could take Posh's breasts, glue them together and then play tennis with the resulting ball!

I don't actually have a downer on people having plastic surgery, enhanced boobs, lips, whatever, I just get sick of hearing about it all the time and then having this surgical 'perfection' used as a standard by which women are judged......Wow that was heavy.....better stop.....SB

Hey Dave,

Great to see you Saturday at Erotica LA. I'm the guy you interviewed at the Utilikilts booth next to the Girl being Tied up.

Let me know when/where the interviews are going to be posted.

Thanks Bro!!

Posted by: mtnbikerfred [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 25, 2007 03:50 PM

Sarah B, I didn't sign a secerecy contract but I shoudln't say. I never saw the famous ones anyway, cause they'd take the tray at the door. What I did find really funny was these girls who lay there like drama queens with their boyfriends by them comforting them as if they'd been in a car crash or something!! They'd had liposuction!! When I had surgery (not plastic surgery) my then boyfriend was totally unsympathetic and actually dragged me to a football match the day after I got out of hospital.

Dave, what do you think about the Internet Radio Equality Act. Just from the everyday person I want the radio on my computer, I listen to it at work. What are your thoughts?
