1. What's with the Luca tattoo? That's Todd's son, not yours, right?

Right. Luca is Todd's little boy. More will be revealed on next week's Spread Entertainment, but in short, the Newman family has taken me in as a family member and the tattoo is a symbol of my love for Luca and the entire family. Here is the ad we did with Luca for Verizon on Spread Entertainment. They keep us up and running and since we have to give air time to our sponsors, we may as well do it our way:

2. What are you doing with your dad for Father's Day?

Today I took the family (Dad, Step Mother, the two kids) to brunch at a really nice hotel that my Dad loves. We just sat and ate and talked for a few hours... Very nice and relaxing Sunday.

3. How do you and Todd come up with the ideas for the "guerilla video" segments? Is it a planned idea or more of a spur of the moment thing?

More often than not, we just pick up the camera stuff and go. The pieces are never really planned out as we never know what to expect. We pretty much know where we want to go and that's about it... We let the people bring the magic and we just respond to them. Our favorite part of the process is the editing. When there is nothing left to edit, we know it's time to shoot another piece.

4. Brigette Nielson was trying to get you to taste her drink -- were you tempted but had the willpower to resist or were you just not interested?

Nahhhh, not at all. A sip of Jack is the furthest thing from my mind. As I said on the show... I was never that kind of drinker... I was more of a drug abuser. Frankly, I'd need a good year or two to do the damage that I'd end up doing and I just don't have that kind of time!

Since I only got to a few questions, here is the full Dimebag Darrel Tribute piece that originally aired on Spread Entertainment via ManiaTV:

That's for throwing that up on you tube. My computer froze just as the commercial started and by the time I got back on mania's page it was over.
He's adorable. When he's not crying.

Ok something you may or may not want to answer right now:

On the last SRL you mentioned how you and Larissa left Sanctuary and started your own group. You said how for the first time in 20 years you were free from corporation. Want to elaborate on the new venture?

or not. ;-)

I'll try for another answer..

Do you plan on having any of the SRL band winners on the show? Killola,The unknowns, or Present Tense?

Glad you got to spend time with your dad:)

Thanks for the tribute videos....it was awesome!!!
RIP Dimebag
As sad as it is, it's great to see some positive come from something so tragic.

p.s. Good job with the editing Todd!! Getting better every clip!! (not that it was ever bad, I'm just noticing it keeps getting better!!)

That is so generous of them to make you part of their family. But, now you are part of their family, I presume that they will expect you to change that baby's diapers a few times...oh THATS why he was crying...don't worry you'll be expert at changing em after a while. Perhaps you could even do a little demo video on spread entertainment...

There's some crazy typing on this page, knowing me, I'll probably add to it....

I'm not a Pantera fan, not my type of music, unfortunately I only really know about them because of what happened to Dimebag. A shitty thing to happen to anybody, but hopefully if it was from behind he didn't see it coming - some small hope. He's got good company with John Lennon - and a tonne of rappers. And as said above, something good is coming out of everyone's love for Dimebag and the band.

I've had a bad day, so the Pantera thing was kind of depressing for me. I wouldn't mind a phone playing Sesame Street at the moment. Even at 41 I would probably sit and watch that programme if it happened to be on and I was channel flicking.

Enough of that.....

Thanks Danni for the 'Famous Dave's' info - I suspected as much and...

thanks Dave for answering my question! The only good thing that has happened to me today!

Take care everyone..........SB

Luca is suuuuper cute.

Oh and I second Paul's request for some soundboard quality live TPC....that would be awesome!! Steve said several months ago that he'd share all kinds of goodies from the SN tour, but has since dropped the ball. It's okay, we love him anyways...but I'm dying to see some of that footage! Hook it up Dave, like you always do! :)

Have a good week everyone. Love, Amber

Todd's Dimebag piece was very UPLIFTING!

it brought back nice memories of when i was also in band & music classes from 7th-12th grades. I went to school in the "inner city/ghetto" as it was (proudly) called back then, a poor neighborhood in San Francisco. I am so grateful to the teachers and adults around me who introduced us to music and singing and art. I had teachers who even played music while we were in writing classes! So thank you to Dimebag's lady for remembering him in this way and helping young kids see the beauty of life.

Sorry. I just have to ask Mr. Navarro a question and I'm very seriously interested in a detailed answer if valid.

I want to know why your sideburns are so full and lustrous and frankly, gorgeous. How do you groom them? Do you have some sort of regimen? If there is anything special, I would like to know. Thanks in advance.
