Here is Five
1. I've just picked up Guitar Hero 2 on Xbox360. That cover of Stop is absolutely insane! Can you play it? Are you any good?
I tried that game and I think it's awesome, but I am really not good at it. My little brother smokes me at it. FYI it's the actual version of Stop by Jane's in the game, not a cover.
2. How many days do you take off from the gym? You mentioned that you took Sat off on CFR last night.
I take one or two days off a week. I'd go everyday if I could because I am kind of an addict when it comes to the gym, but I usually have one or two days on average that I can't get in. I have to go first thing in the morning otherwise I won't go.
3. Please tell me Dave that you did NOT break up with someone on a text message! That was a joke right?
Um... Yeah, it was a joke.
4. Have you heard anything definitive about Supernova breaking up?
No, this is the first I have heard of it.
5. Do you turn into a child when you get the flu or do you just get on with it?
HAHAHA I pretty much turn into a baby.

Loved the video! LOL. It's amazing what people do to each other, so I am of the opinion that it's best to find the humor and sarcasm in it all to get thru. But I am glad that you were just joking. It would have ruined my probably overly idealistic notion of you had it been true :-)
So how do we submit artwork to your coming media company/forum?

Eventually ran screaming from my college assignment this morning into the open air to discover some damn bird had crapped on my washing - that's the thanks I get for feeding them all winter. Anyhow thanks to "Vixen" for the CFR iTunes info, I had actually searched iTunes for it before but came up blank. I found it this evening under Billy Morrison, or I think I have. I've subscribed but nothing has downloaded and I haven't got time to sit at the computer and listen from 6767. Is this a US/UK Transatlantic divide thing or a personal computer crapness kind of thing? Anyone else from the UK having problems? Many thanks.

What was the final nail in the myspace coffin?
Personally, I've always thought it lame (not secure at all). People are going to regret the crap they post on there one day :=) I do think it's great for musicians though and I enjoy checking out some band's music that I might not have bothered with in the past.
Posted by: lc at April 15, 2007 03:28 PM
Sara B - Click on the "Main" link above Dave's current post...scroll down a bit and watch the right hand side of the page. Right underneath the title "6767 podcasts" there is a "SUBSCRIBE HERE" link. Click on that and you should be kicked over to your iTunes and start automatically getting Dave's podcasts. You can also just search Dave Navarro in the iTunes store and you'll see the free podcast icon.
...and thats my daily quota of comment posts! Aaaand she's spent! hahahahaha

Funny video. It's gotta be tough being single in this day and age.
But you know, as rude as a text message breakup is, it's still better than the "dropping off the face of the planet without even having the balls to break up at all" one. But enough about my past dramas...
Nice to see you around; hope all is good.
As you heard, a few of us had fun hanging out in NYC last night and contemplated calling CFR with a question.
Ladies - It DID pertain to things breaking in two, so to speak... so it would've actually been very fitting. LOL. Oh well.
Happy Sunday, all. May you all have lots of breathtaking moments today, even if it's outside of the gym.
Peace,

Anyway...What is new with TPC? Any new tour dates, are we going to see CD/TPC tour? I know I want to know all well as the rest of us.
Love ya Dave, thanks again for keeping all of us...well just entertained.

Come on now Dave, when you rocked suffragette city with Storm Large, was that really spontaneous or did you have a chance to practice with her and the band. It was such a seamless performance; it’s hard to believe it was on the spur of the moment. If it was, woot, nice job

The clips you share are always great. Thanks.
Gilbys blog says he was misquoted, just said RSSN tour was over, no plans on a breakup. Speaking of Gilby, I totally got to see him play in Toronto, at the Phoenix, last week. What a great show. Storm and One Ball was there too! I fell in love with her the instant that she came on stage. She is really a comedian as well as having the voice of an angel. And Gilby what a sweatheart he is. My friend and I were lucky enough to meet him after the show, got an autograph and a hug! rock stars are still thrilling to me.
Just wished I could have hung out with TPC in PGH, but maybe next show I catch.
So, for work outs, I walk my dogs about 2 miles a day, I have a gazelle and an ab lounge in the living room, all my friends use them when they hang out. So is there a reason you prefer the gym to home workout?

loved the video, enjoyed the answers to the 5, level headed as always. "I can type too!" That line is sooo True!
I've been watching my oldest daughter morph into a preteen latley. It's very interesting to see how the media play such a heavy role in her personality changes and choices. She has always been exposed to mine and my husband's music choices and has seemed to love it as much as us. But times are changing and "our" music does not include her anymore. What I find interesting and impressive is the smart way that the industry is targeting kids with music through Disney and other media that is geared toward them in particular. In my experience, the music that kids listen to in their teens and early 20's will be the type of music most of them will always be drawn too. So what I wanted to ask you is: Do you think bands live or die by their talent or by the exposure they recieve? Do they stay true to who they are or do they morph into what it "takes". Will the "hair bands" of my youth be a distant memory like the Bee Gees were from my sister's? How can more gritty musicians compete for exposure when they do not have the more "wholesome" all american image that the current teen stars have. The Mouse is smart, you can't deny it.

Hey, Dave. :-) Awesome to see you posting again, man. I've missed your sweet self and your badass sense of humor. (Yes, I used one slightly naughty word, just for you. ;-) ) LOL Hope all's well in your world. :-)
Yeah, "Rock Star Supernova" will be changing their band name, but they're still together. Gilby just finished some solo Canadian gigs and is going to do the El Diablo Run down to Baja with his bro. Lukas has been recording an acoustic EP in the studio with his buddy, Dom. And, last I heard, Tommy was on vacation and/or doing some DJ gigs. Johnny is blowin' stuff up in ATL with a photography show and DJ set on April 28th and he's about to unveil his latest "baby," the Zodiac guitar. I hear he's been feeding it AC/DC (the music, not the band ^^). So, it should grow up to be an impressive musical monster. ;-) Everything's fine. The boys are just enjoying some downtime and side projects after coming off their tour. :-)
Hope to hear some new material from TPC one of these days, too, bro. Still love the first CD. :-) Sending out love, hugs and peace to you and all our peeps. :-)

*waves at Dave* :-)
Leigh Ane, if you're asking if the "mother moontime" reference was regarding me, the answer would be 'yes.' I am a Night Owl ^^ and tend to leave little wee hours 'owl tracks' for the boys. ;-) In turn, C45 very kindly gives a "shout out" every now and then. I make no claims about ruling the universe, though. ^^ Although, if I did, that would explain why everything is so messed up. LOL Please don't send me any lovely letters of complaint about how weird the platypus is or the relative size of avocado pits--that's the Big Guy's department, not mine. ;-P
Yeah, on the Jason front, apparently he's going to do some work with his band "Voivod." Don't know what else he has in the works, right now. :-)
And, yes, apparently, Lukas will be headed to ATL, eventually, to create some mayhem at Johnny's studio. Can't wait to see what those boys cook up, next. :-)
We now return you to our regularly scheduled Dave-ness... ;-) Peace. :-)

Ambersonian - thanks for the directions for downloading CFR, I'll have a go tomorrow when I've got more time, hopefully I won't end up downloading everything else I don't want and then crashing the computer!
Re Storm's balls, how many balls has the other ball got? If Storm has 3 balls, does she loan out the third ball to balls without balls? Are they big balls or little balls, or does size not matter?
My cat has balls, I keep treading on them and kicking them about the hallway - doesn't do the bells inside them any good - has Storm got bells inside hers?
Has Vixen's ex-boyfriend got any balls? Perhaps you'd like to answer that one Vixen......
Enough of this shit - I've had a really bad day at work and I think it shows. I really must listen to CFR and find out what everyone is commenting on.

I'm late to the party most times - which is probably for the best ha ha - I'm just now catching up on some of the TDDUP episodes.
Possible Q for Sunday remaining 5:
Just curious - do you still practice Yoga? How often - every day? What type of Yoga do you prefer?
Yoga does a body good - yours is proof of that one for sure.
Thank you love.
XOXO,
~SpaJunkie
