Back To Normal
1. What was your favorite "sightseeing" experience on the tour?
Well, I don't really spend a lot of time walking around cities anymore when I am on tour. That is more Steve's thing. Dallas, however, stands out for me because I hit the grassy knoll again, then went to Vinnie Paul's strip club, The Clubhouse. It was complete insanity and chaos... Then we rolled over to Vinnie's house and I took down a poker tournament! Murder, sex and gambling in one night... Good times!
2. Wanting to know how come we missed all the fantastic videos and shit on the second half of this tour?
We have tons of stuff and will be posting it soon. I guess we all kind of decided to get lost in the tour and not spend half of it hunched over a screen. Steve documented SO much... I am certain we will get to putting it all online at some point soon.
3. I heard it was an acoustic set because you had to leave Siggy behind at the border. Is that true? How did it feel to have your plans foiled by that?
Actually, we love a challenge. Siggy's visa hadn't come through so we decided, "What the hell... Let's just rock it acoustic." One of the perks of playing with such talented and versatile musicians. There is no circumstance that they can't rise above.
4. What was the longest length of time you went without sleep on the tour and why?
I went a few days without sleep but it was way worth it. We did a show in Oakland, then I had a party at a club, flew to Miami the next morning for a party that night, then flew back the next day to play in Phoenix with Gilby's after show party followed by one of Phoenix's many strip clubs. I think it was something like two or three days with cat naps on planes.
5. Didn't you school Siggy on the whole rock star thing? At the Everett show he kept coming out and trying to hook up with a bunch of girls ... Doesn't he know that he doesn't have to try so hard when he is traveling with the masters?
HAHAHA... How do you know he wasn't doing the masters' bidding?! We call it "hazing the new guy".
6. Any live recordings from the board?
Yes! We have many live recordings from most of the shows. We are planning on compiling the best of the best and getting them online soon. In fact, they have inspired us to get into the studio again very soon.
7. Do you do your own make-up and nails on tour or do you have someone traveling with you that does it?
No way! I do the make-up and then I get a nail touch up in each city from one of Siggy's "new guy" task fulfillments.
8. Don't you feel like a sleazy old man hanging out strip clubs when you are pushing forty? Or if you don't feel like a sad old man, how about a misogynist?
HAHA... How can I be a misogynist? My manager is a woman! After reading this question even SHE said that you can eat a dick!
9. Over the years have you had any hearing loss or tinnitus caused by being so close to the amps?
Actually, no. I was JUST talking about this to my Dad last night, who came to the show in LA, and the last hearing test I got revealed that my hearing is totally intact. I guess that the stage volume is never as loud as the house.
10. When coming off a tour-afer hanging with the guys for 2 months, being in different places, meeting new and different people plus the general fun and mayhem that goes on do you ever feel a little let down?
Of course! On this last tour, we only had to be accountable for about 30 minutes a day. Reality tends to get lost out there and we love it. When we get home, the phone rings, responsibilities crop up... It can be a rude awakening!

Home!!!
I know, it has been forever since I have checked in. Well, better late than never I suppose. We are finally home with one more show here in LA. The tour was so much fun I can't even describe it. Just imagine four guys rolling around the country with basically no responsibilities with the exception of 30 minutes a night. Lots of room for trouble, mischief and insanity I can assure you... Usually in a harmless way, but sometimes the behavior can be questionable. HAHA. I have been gone since the AVNs so it is really kind of shocking to be back at my place. After six weeks of being away, the smallest things stand out, such as... How hot the water at home gets. We are so used to luke warm showers at the venues that I almost scorched 7 layers of flesh off of my body when I stepped into the shower at home. I have also come to realize just how much I love and missed my desktop computer. It makes my laptop experiences seem like I was using two cans and string to connect to the world from out there on the road. So much has gone down that it might be easier for me to open up the Q & A about the tour instead of trying to recall everything.

1-5
Suicide Girl, Addie, nudes up and reads up! Thanx for the "Don't Try This At Home" plug, you sexy little thing!
1. Now, what is the story with The Hat? It looked great on you but..... Would have loved to see you without it as well!
No real story... Just feeling the hat this tour.
2. Heard RSSN added Suffragette City to the mix and you played lead guitar...will you guys continue that, I'd love to see that one in Portland.
I have done it when they asked and just kind of got up there and rocked it with them. It's not a real "part of the show" or a "thing"... It's one of those moments that happens every now and again when you are out on tour with a band for a while. You end up jamming at one time or another.
3. Did you eat the treats I sent to the bus?
Well, I avoid sugar like it's heroin, but Steve Isaacs put quite a dent in them! We had to pry one of the tins away from his hands while he was asleep one night. We all thank you very much Angel.
4. How do you sleep in the bus when someone else is snoring?
Well, frankly, I don't ever sleep on it while it is moving. I let everyone else go to sleep and around 7:00-8:00am when the bus stops, I go to sleep and wake up around 4:00pm. I avoid the snoring, the moving, the motor sound, the windy roads and I don't have to occupy myself all day. I get up, shower and play a show. At night I just watch movies, talk on the phone and dig into some quiet personal time.
5. Have you been reading the reviews and how do you deal with this crap?
It's funny! You know, I don't think any writer is going to come to a concert that was spawned from a TV show with the intention of enjoying themselves. The bottom line is this: We are doing what we love... These poor bastards are having to spend their personal time writing about something they claim they don't like. How sad is that? I know that if I didn't like something, I'd hate to have to go home and spend more time on it just to make rent. Don't worry boys... I'm sure that big book deal is just around the corner!

Just Checking In
Yeah, this is a long overdue check in for sure. The tour has been so much fun but has left me with little time to screw around on the computer. Today we are in Wisconsin for a TPC only show. It's our last club show on the tour as the rest of this leg will be with Supernova. It is cold as hell here and Chicago was even worse. (I know, hell isn't cold but you get the idea.) Even when I was with the Peppers and we did that show up at the North Pole it wasn't this cold. I am going to try to get another Podcast going this week from the bus. Since I have missed so many days here, why not just give me a Sunday 10 to do about the tour? Even though it's not Sunday I am certain that I owe you one. New York was a lot of fun and we got to see a lot of the family at the show and at the after party. A lot of people have asked me what hosting a party is all about and well, now many of our members here have seen it. We just kind of hang and have a moment to blow off steam. Deena got some pictures and has posted them over at the Asylum. It's hard to believe that this tour is about half over. In some ways it feels as if we just got started and in others it feels as if we have been gone for months. It's very easy to lose track of time out here.
BTW: We are very close to having a new Indie Artist Contest over at Spread Radio Live.
Interesting side note: We are staying at one of the hotels where Dahmer brought his victims.
