Um... No

"Dave Navarro is one of the few guys in Hollywood who carries an overnight bag full of makeup. He never leaves home without foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and lip liner, and lip balm. So it makes sense that he come out with his own line of Navarro cosmetics for men. We hear he's doing it all himself and plans to start with the daily basics that he uses, plus self tanner, moisturizer, and after shave. Plus grooming for detailed facial hair. He's aiming his products at young rocker types -- guys who have tattoos but are still in touch with "their feminine side." Eventually there will also be a Navarro fragrance." - Janet Charlton

Awwwww... Janet. It is so sweet that you didn't take this as an opportunity to just go crazy with sarcasm and insulting innuendo, however, there isn't an ounce of truth to this story. Trust me, if there was, I'd give myself a good bashing!

Is that the best that they could come up with?

What's next? Dave Navarro coffee?
I can just see it...

"Dave Navarro Coffee... for when you really need a caffeine fix".

LOL. That is a pretty funny one, Dave. I was actually intrigued by the idea of a "Navarro fragrance."

Does the Dave Navarro Lip Balm come in many flavors?

Posted by: elizabeth at January 8, 2007 08:59 PM

Ahhh you have to love the press and wonder where they get some of their crap from.

Whew! What a relief. Thanks for clearing that up. I just saw that article a little while ago and was wondering how true it was.

Much as I love Dave's look and the way men look in eyeliner, the idea of a rock star putting out a line of men's makeup named after himself is a level of cheesiness that I hope we never see in our lifetime.

(Although I kinda dig the cologne thing when it's done the right way...)

Cheers,

Damn, quick draw!

you closed that last entry just as I was typing this long ass comment about the Russo thing! Denied!

You put a stop to that rumor right quick... guess you couldn't stand the thought of people running around thinking you were putting out a cosmetics line - ha ha

Does the Dave Navarro Lip Balm come in many flavors?

-hahahahahahaha
I wonder what the scent would be for the dave fragrance?

Thank god this is all fictional, something tells me the lipbalm flavors wouldn't be the usual strawberry or mint, I mean Dave you're more creative then that.

Posted by: anonymousaurus rex at January 8, 2007 09:47 PM

It was Elizabeth that asked about the lip balm...not me. LOL

I think the "Navarro fragrance" would be a sultry mix of fresh sweat, leather and a touch of cigarettes.

(Lowering down ladder to help my mind get out of the gutter.)

Dave, do you know what the words pretentious fuck mean?

nether do I..............lol

Posted by: pompous ass at January 8, 2007 09:58 PM

dave, you look good with anything on except for skirts and dresses. you've got that whole rocker alternative look with the dark make-up, tat's, and black wardrobe. in fact, you don't need make-up, with your pretty eyes cause they are already dark anyways. THAT women needs a serious makeover herself, with that ugly yellow hair.

Aw hell.
And here I was going to give you some name suggestions for your lip gloss line.

Like:
"Suck it son" red

And "Eat a dick" peach

Someone tell HER not to put out a Janet Charlton hair dye line. That brassy crayola crayon yellow is soooooooooooo 80's.

Hey Dave, don't forget to mention that today (January 9th) is the 2 year anniversary of the Panic Community going live.

Remind everyone to drop by the Asylum and celebrate 2 years together.

They're just jealous that he's more attractive than they could ever be, and I am not just talking about physical beauty.

mmmmmI like the cologne thing too Navarro Mistique for the man who has it allllllllllllll!just like my man Dave. Miss seeing you on Rock Star when will the next season start? I wish they would have a Rock star Gods and Goddess reunion several of the stand outs from each season giving us a little update and some of their new material. You know maybe a two hour special or something. I swear I was only into Country music for so long. It opened up a whole new love for rock and rockers that I haven't experienced in 20 years. Just some excellent music and talent including the host with the most. I just can't get enough of that show. You do such a great job I miss ya man! I am still haunted by the rockers of last season. They were extremely memorable. Talk it up see what can come of it. See ya!
