Two Down
We are two dates in to this tour and its already starting to flow. We hit Hollywood, FLA and Orlando and both shows were a lot of fun. We have been changing up the set from night to night with Night One/Why Cry/Blue Bruises/Highway To Hell... Just finding the right pace. Siggy is kicking ass on bass and has brought a lot to the live show. Everyone on the tour is super friendly and it seems like this is going to go by all too quick. Toby and Juke Cartel do a great job opening the show and the ladies definitely love Toby! Then Dilana comes out for a couple of acoustic songs and her voice is just so captivating that it penetrates every heart in the room. We do our thing for about 45 minutes which, given the size of the room and the fact that most of the audience hasn't heard us, feels like a perfect amount of time. Hit it and quit it we say. Of course we play for about an hour and 15 at our own shows. Isaacs has really hit a new level on this tour and I think that playing to the big rooms really suites him. The sound on stage is so perfect for us, thanks to Supernova's monitor engineer, that it actually feels like we are living in our record up there. Then Supernova comes on... LOUDLY! One of the loudest bands I have ever heard for sure. Tommy is fucking ridiculous on the drums as we all know and this show is no different. Lukas has been singing great and he looks perfect up there at all times. The production on stage is pretty amazing too. It's rad... We all know that there are a lot of shit talkers about the whole TV concept and there always will be... But the bottom line is: We are on tour bringing it every night! The bad news is that I forgot to pack my microphone to make Podcasts but Isaacs promises he has a work around. We are just getting started anyway!

Glad you are enjoying yourself! The couple reviews I've been able to find of the first 2 shows have nothing but great things to say about you guys. Maybe after this tour Capital will see a surge in album sales and actually put some $ behind a club tour of your own! Either way, Im just glad you guys are out there and will be in Nor Cal soon enough. Much love to you Dave and as always, the rest of the 67 fam!
Love, Amber :)

I was at the Hard Rock Seminole (Ft Lauderdale).... here's my review...... First the negatives: The venue is WAY too small for Supernova... if they want to be THAT loud they need to be somwhere with good acoustics. period. I had a great time but I heard from a lot of people that is was the worst concert experience of their lives based soley on the sound quality.
I had never seen Tommy live and he was awesome! Loved him. For me the head liner was seeing you Dave... Just fantastic. You look even better in person and just fucking jammed. There was a nice humility that I felt from everyone, it wasn't an ego show and I liked that. TPC lead singer (his name has escaped me) was better live, I am a new fan of his.
Lukas, how great was he? He has taken on the lead singer role as if he has been with them for years, I was impressed. Loved his diamond crusted mic! Although, like I said before, way too loud to even really make out most lyrics. I liked that there were a couple of covers, at least one that I remember. Toby rocked, he was less commercial than he was on the show, really good. Dilana was good too. Not thrilled with her get up and hair, too over the top, not flattering. She is a pretty girl with a great figure, why hide it? I am not saying get all slutty on us at all but it isn't halloween. She sounded great, I wish she had more time.
Dave- you were the highlight for me... you rocked and that body of yours- perfection!
XOXO Coco
P.S. was that a Louis Vuitton guitar strap? I didn't know they made them. :)
Posted by: Coco at January 18, 2007 05:53 PM
One more thing- I loved how Tommy ended the show with "Good night Fuckers".

Dave

Glad to hear things have started out well for you guys. I'm curious... is it a little strange being on tour with some of the people you had to critique on a weekly basis this past summer? I'm sure it's a trip for them!
Safe travels... looking forward to your stop in Chicago!

Dave,
I was at the Orlando show. I had a great time, you guys were great. I was in the front row so I got to see everything. The venue was a little small and not set up that great but I'm glad I spent the money to get up that close and see you guys. I bought the tickets before I knew TPC was going and I was so happy to hear it. Juke Kartel was great and Supernova rocked. I can't say enough good things about the show. You guys looked like you were having a great time too.
Enjoy the rest of the tour, be safe.

I would rather see you guys at a small venue like I did last summer in San Diego. I have never been to the Long Beach Arena before, but it doesn't look small.
Dave you were very kind and approachable in San Diego and at the Rockstar tapings, but I don't think it will be possible to talk with you after the concert this time. Have fun, and give Lukas a hug for me.

Hey Dave, glad to hear the tour is such a blast! Awhile back I was flapping my gums about a band I used to hang with and they finally got some tunes on their website. They haven't done anything in a couple of years-just thought you might want to hear some original stuff outta Maine. Although, the lead singer is from Vegas originally and about your age-and dark and handsome too. :)
I wouldn't post this here, but I know you will read it-feel free to pull this comment as it is not a plug, just for your ears. :)
Since my connection is slow, I haven't listened to the whole thing (and these are their two cd's I didn't get copies of!) but I would recommend PBR on Vol 1 (I typed the lyrics in your chat when I was solo in there one night) and on two, I always loved Anita Title and Gallant when they did them live.
*hugs*

hi Dave!!!
saw the video someone posted on youtube from one show(thank you to that person!). you are hot Dave, you're a beautiful man and you really know how to move. at age 19 or 39, you are smokin'. and you look better now!
and I have always thought Steve had terrific stage presence. If more people take the time to become acquainted with TPC music, can't help but love it.
The Long Beach area is huge, Linda, great place for a show. hi to everyone.

Hey Dave and 6767 guys! First time poster here but I caught the show in Orlando and just had to say something! (had to travel to see the damn thing too!) It was awsome! Well worth the pretty short trip down. We get mostly country performers here so this was my first true "Rock 'n Roll" concert and I really enjoyed it! You guys rocked! Supernova looked and sounded great (once I got used to the loudness) and I had a great time! I hope I get the chance to see you guys and them again.

Hey, Dave. :-) "It's past 3 am in Norfolk, Virginia. Do you know where your Dave is?" LOL ^^
Glad you're having incredible shows with the boys. I've heard several folks say how awesome TPC has been. There have been tons of compliments coming in for Steve's voice and your guitar work. There are lots of props for Siggy and Stephen, too. :-)
It's cool that the sound has been perfect for you guys, because I know JK and RSSN have had some sound issues. Hopefully, those will get cleared up as the tour rolls along, though. Everything and everyone else has been getting rave reviews from folks. :-)
The newspapers/critics/'industry types' are another matter... They're some of the ones doing the trash talking. But, the actual fans love the experience and all the bands. :-) I got to see a video of Lukas performing his tune "Social Disgrace" from last night and that boy can dance. LOL He's got the moves. :-)
*listening to SRL* Ah, "kHz..." Cool that they're doing Monday shows for SRL, now, and I caught Pull's show the other night. :-)
I’m wishing everyone a fabulous show in Norfolk and sending out peace, love and positive vibes to y'all. :-)

Feb 25 at Paola Casino in San Deigo. Are you not playing that date with them? Gosh I hope so.... anyway, have a great tour and I hope I see you and TPC

Just in case you have some time for Sunday 10...Do you think that you might be finding time to play poker while you are at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City before or after the show. The casino has a nice poker room. I wasn't able to get tickets for that show but would go down there just for the chance to play in a nice sit and go tournament with you!!! I'm sure I would be so nervous and fold to you every time!.....anyway....Have fun on tour...Love ya.

Do you mind if people take pix? is it distracting to you? I always feel badly when I start snapping away, so if it's bothersome while you are up there doin' your thang let us know.
Was trying to get down to Bal'more tonight but just couldn't swing it. Have a great show.
