AC Post Show
Last night was a lot of fun. It was awesome to see all of our friends out there in the audience. The drag for me was the stage set up and the distance from the people. We felt like we were 15 feet high and 20 feet away from the crowd and it made for kind of a tease. This seems to be a theme with a lot of casino shows (that aren't in Vegas). The good news is that we have finally started recording the shows and plan to put up live versions of our songs. After we went over to a night club in the Borgata Hotel where Tommy was doing another DJ set. I stayed for about an hour but the place was so packed that I had to bounce. I decided to get back on the bus, rock some hip hop jams and catch up on Grey's Anatomy. We are now on our way to Connecticut for another show. Thanx to Deena and the girls for the "Deez Nuts"! That made me laugh out loud onstage, which is a rare thing.
Here is a Podcast with Dave and Perk about the above post.

Dave- Thank you for a great show last night. The entire band gave a really powerful performance. You of course are the epitome of cool, and so gracious. I have mad respect for that, and I sincerely hope you never stop playing. It's inspiring to witness such talant.
Sorry I couldn't make the little meet and greet, had to bounce early. Can someone let me know whats up for Wed night after the R/C show? And if you need my help in arranging something let me know.
Oh- And Dave- can you give a big shout out to BK this Wed. The love runs deep in our Bourough.
Peace,

Hey Dave,
I caught the show in Toronto at Massey Hall this past week. It was amazing! Funny enough, I was also one of the lucky people who got to stand right at the stage for your set. I was beside your monitors, near this girl who kept shouting, "Dave Navarro! Dave Fuckin Navarro! " over and over again. I have to say that being that close to the music and seeing you guys perform from that perspective was one of the most surreal and fantastic concert experiences ever.
You might see me again at your show in Pittsburgh on February 1. My friend and I feel like being crazee and we might drive all day and then back through the night in order to get there and then back to work the next day. I'm hoping for the best.
Enjoy the rest of your tour with Supernova, and thanks again for a night of kick ass rockin' music.

Hi Joseph,
Just wanted to let you know that we received your email and fax. I am looking to see if we have access to any front row seats. I’m not sure if the band is going to have a meet & greet planned that night but if they are, we can get you +3 on it.

I have NEVER been 1 to jump on to something just because every1 is doing it (I just saw Idol last year) so when I heard Heroes featured a topless dancer as 1 of the Heros I was in. So I just caught it and I must say, "FUCK OFF NBC!!!" How many writers did it take 2make the stripper, at least seem, nuttier than squirrel shit? You guys seem out of touch. I worked at a topless club in the mid 90's and met dancers from all diff. walks of life. And honestly, after working in an office for a few years, I found more love, honesty, and realness in a damn titty bar. Please do not stereotype, it is so lame, really. ty.

Hey Dave
Sounds like you guys are having one hell of a great tour! Unfortunately the closest concert for me was in Montreal, and that's about a 16hr drive since I live in the Atlantic provinces. You all got great reviews up here though. Usually the media likes to find something wrong. If you think that you froze your arse off for these dates, you'll have to come up in July or August. You'll feel like your "chestnuts are definitely roasting over an open fire"! We have the extreme heat with the humidity. That's why I live down east now, so that I'm by the ocean. Would love to see you guys play down this way some time. Je t'aime!

Hey Dave,
Ive read your posts for a while but never commented. AWESOME show last night in AC. I am so happy I had the chance to not only see the rockstar boys, but the panic channel as well, you guys def. stole the show in my book. Let me just say that as a fellow guitarist, you are a true inspiration to me. I have to ask though - after the show I was hangin by the faux-mini red carpet outside the club, hoping to say hello or whats up, but when you came by, you breezed right in. Was evertyhing ok? It was a bit disapointing but I truly understand that sometimes, its just too much. Never the less, you rocked it hard my good man, keep it up!

Hey Dave -
EARLY SUNDAY 10 QUESTION....
If you had to choose between a cup of coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, and one from Starbucks, which would you prefer?
Also....are you a Cappucino guy...or just regular coffee?
Thanks!

Just wanted to say that the show in AC was awsome!! I would love to know when you guys are gonna go on the road on your own so we can see more of you...sucks that they limited your set to such a short amount of time!!
Take it easy!

Dave are you still trying to save the soft-shelled Blue Crabs? If so, then I have a publicist friend who works in the environmental industry and would very much like to have a word with you. It seems this is also a hot point of topic for her and she thinks that a sensitive, cocky, sexy rock star such as yourself would be JUST what her cause needs . . . shall I tell her to visit your forum and PM you? Alternatively, you could email me at my addy and I could pass along her number to ya. Who knows where it could all lead? Blue crabs might just be the cure to all sorts of health ailments!
Have a great tour!!

D, come on do you think Dave even goes to Dunkin' Donuts?
Speaking of caffeine, Dave have you heard about the new donut that will have as much caffeine as two cups of coffee? They are trying to pitch it to Starbucks!

Hey, Dave. Just wanted to say that the show tonight in CT was AWESOME. I hope the crowd didn't disappoint you. They definitely got into it when you kicked into Highway to Hell. What did you think of the venue?
Have fun on the rest of your tour and come back as soon as you can.

Glad you liked the Deez Nutz/6767 thing! This morning my daughter asked, "Mommy, why do you have numbers on your hands?" Try explaining that one!
I agree that the structure of the venue/stage/barricade sucked. It had to be hard to be yourselves up there with that set up. I've seen you guys make an arena feel like someone's living room, but the set-up last night was just bizarre... and the crowd, even more so. It was really surreal from our vantage point. I can't imagine what it was like from yours.
But as usual, you brought it like there's no tomorrow, despite the circumstances.
See you in NYC!
Spreading the love,
Deena

VERY DISAPPOINTED ON THE CONNECTICUT SHOW!!
Dave
On the record, you need to FIRE the people who represent you! Specifically your Tour Manager Bobby. My friend and I sent letters to Sanctuary and Azoff... BOTH sent responses about being placed on the "guest list for 4 people."
Went to the Wallingford show and guess what, no passes and no placement on the list! Brought the letter to Bobby's attention (even had a printed copy with me) and guess what - He was unwillling to help! Reason being - My friend and I - 1 male and 1 female are both in our 40's and disabled! If we were young and good looking I am sure Bobby would have walked us back without hesitation!
You are most likely unaware of what trasnpired last night and how it ruined the nights excitement of 4 of your most dedicated fans evening!!!
We would like the opportunity and honor to meet you, just for a quick picture, before our disabilitating ailments make it that we can't get to the shows! Between the 4 people who went, we spent almost 6 months of disability income, all in the FALSE hope give by the 2 management companies emails that we would be on the guest list!
I want you to see these emails! I am sure you would see that these people do not deserve to represent you for what they did to the 4 of us last night! If passes were not an option why state and I quote one of the emails "If there is a meet, you + 3 will not be a problem"
Both management companies dropeed the ball and Bobby had the chance to fix it and utterly refused!
This letter is missing many four letter statements since I wanted to show you that your biggest fans have class!
If this is read by you, I would expect a response with the opportunity for us to meet you anyway within driving distanmce of CT
Crushed by the lack of respect your reps have for the disabled!

Dave,
I went to the Wallingford show last night, and I would like to thank you and the Panic Channel for a wonderful show! Your guys were awesome and the music was fantastic. I bought the tickets the day it was announced that you would be on the tour and I was not disappointed.
You guys were the ultimate in professional performers and if I had to rank the show, I would say that you beat the "headliners" completely, since I could hear the music and enjoy the light show without getting sick (which my 9 year old did during RockStar Supernova). I only wish that you guys could have performed more songs from your album!
Thank you for making my birthday fantastic!

what's the deal with Chris Chaney? i remember some time ago you said that due to family obligations he would not be touring. Then you said something like, "we decided to amicably go our separate ways. we wish him and his family all the best in the future." That sounds like Chris will not be with TPC at all in the future. is this true? will he be back?

This goes out 2 the person above suffering from d.v. (domestic violence). I, too, have been right there with you. I truly believe that I would be dead today if I had not left in June 02. Oprahis not wrong when she preaches 2 have a plan. I made at least 5 calls to the National Domestic Hotline (I used 2 have it memorized) and what they did was listen 2 me and give me the 3rd party, educated advice which led me 2 a facility where I began 2 start my life free from horrible treatment. I think it is 1-800 877-SAFE. I will verify that 4 u. Just know this: Battered Woman's Syndrome is real, and prevents 1 from clearly seeing the whole pix, thus the hotline begins 2 break down your prison without bars~ Was it hard 2 do? I won't begin 2 describe how hard, but I kept thinking of my Mom's reaction upon hearing the worst. I wish you peace and love. Just know that I left 5 times only to return after a day or so b4 finally being gone for 4 1/2 years. God bless you. I know you will be strong.

hi dave, i was at the atlantic city show. just a few comments:
#1 the whole show fot the most part was great.
#2 loved dilana and tobys sets and it was great to see magni
#3 thought the panic channell was great
#4 here is my complaint, please tell tommy that we want to hear the singing and not just his drums. they should really fire that sound guy. I came to the show because i am a big lukas fan and i was unable to hear most of what he was singing due to the drums. Although lukas is a great showman he is also a great singer and should be heard.
I was also disappointed that there was no encore. i got the feeling during the show that the band was not really into it. that is pretty bad when the fans are able to sense that.
well that is enough of my ranting, just want you to know that i was thrilled to finally get to see you perform, also your nt too hard on the eyese either!!!

Hi Dave,
Much to my surprise , my friend got me a ticket for the Atlantic City show. By the time I tried to get them myself they were sold out. Well..she made my night when she called me and told me to get ready...we are going to the show! Anyway... I agree with you completely about the stage set up and not to mention what assholes most of the stage security guys are. I was near one of them and all he did the whole time was complain about the bands and how much each one of them sucked. I told him I it was time for me to walk away before I was tempted to deck him. anyway...the show was great and in spite of the distance from the stage I still felt connected thanks to the stage presence that all of you have.
Thanks for a great time.
