Glad you had a great time at the awards show Dave. I'm still sad that you're not coming to Calgary. I had to see Evanescence last night instead. Amy Lee is really cool and I love to dress like her, but she's not YOU!!!!

I remembered something else you said last year:
"all that matters is that we are happy while we are here and that we do our best not to wrong others"-- or something like that.
As much as I wanted revenge against an ex who physically and emotionally abused me, I decided against it. It would've made me just as evil as him. That's not the type of person I want to be. That's not the type of person that Dave Navarro or Amy Lee would want me to be either. In the end, our behavior reflects not just on ourselves, but also on our families, friends, our social circles and the artists who inspire us. Sometimes you just have to put up with crap, choose to do nothing, and let it go.
Dr. Phil said "living well is the best revenge". And listening to Dave's awesome guitar chords in the RHCP, Jane's, and the Panic Channel and seeing Evanescnce live is the best revenge for me.
