Hahahahaaa!!!! You guys are hilarious. Poor Shaun. His snoring seems to be the hot topic on the tour bus.

Being subjected to that for weeks on end... you know that rhythm, as irregular as it is, will subconsciously work it's way into your music.

The loud snoring, he stops breathing, he probably has sleep apnea, and he could die. I hope he doesn't use narcotics or tranquilizers, because that can be a deadly combination.

OH MAN...i wish it didnt cut off right there...
o well. yea he probly has sleep apnea or something.
"What is Obstructive Sleep Apnea?
The most common kind of sleep apnea is called Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome. Sleep apnea means "cessation of breath." It is characterized by repetitive episodes of upper airway obstruction that occur during sleep, usually associated with a reduction in blood oxygen saturation. In other words, the airway becomes obstructed at several possible sites. The upper airway can be obstructed by excess tissue in the airway, large tonsils, a large tongue and usually includes the airway muscles relaxing and collapsing when asleep. Another site of obstruction can be the nasal passages. Sometimes the structure of the jaw and airway can be a factor in sleep apnea."
haha. later.

Joe I'm glad you think it's funny, but my son had Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and that condition, plus narcotics and tranquilizers caused his death!

Thanx, Sue. We do extensive sleep studies at the Neurology clinic. The cpap gives enough air so that breathing is normal and snoring subsides. I think Shaun needs to get to a sleep clinic asap. He is such a great guy.... don't ya want to take care of him? :)

I think the humor in this is the guys deflecting a possibly very serious situation. Some people laugh when they are worried or stressed.
Can you try to get him to sleep on his side? That would help his airflow a bit until he can be evaluated.
All of you take care of yourselves,
Nicole XOXO

Hi, Dave. My grandmother had the same thing, for many years. (Sleep Apnea runs in my family, actually.) She'd stop breathing for a full minute or two before her breathing would kick in, again. If you don't know what it is, it can be very disconcerting the first time you see it/hear it happen, for sure.

Wow, got a little heavy here for a moment. I'm sure that if there was a serious health concern it would have been addressed. This is just a funny litttle "Moment in the life of..." type of thing. Tragedies can occur with sleep apnea, but for almost all tours the insurance criteria is quite rigid. If there were a serious health issue, I'm sure it would have been looked into. Just stay happy people, and enjoy the moments you are given.JMHO.
