I just finished reading Jung's "Man and His Symbols", which was the last psychological work undertaken him before his death in 1961. It was first published in 1964, it is divided into five parts, four of which are written by associates of Jung: Joseph L. Henderson, Marie-Louise von Franz, Aniella Jaffé, and Jolande Jacobi. The book is meant to be an introduction to Jung's theories and was originally written for a general audience rather than psychology students. What really pulled me into reading it was how he basically states on the back of the book that modern day man should recognize the importantance of creativity in human beings as one of our most important aspects of existence. In reading it, what I enjoyed most was his philosophy that you can't flatline symbols in dreams to have one meaning for all i.e. stairs in one persons dream doesn't necessarily have the same meaning in another persons dream. As well as stairs in one's dream at one point in their life could have an entirely different meaning at another point in their life (and most likely does). So for anybody who enjoys delving into their dreams and pulling out meaning into their lives this is a very interesting read.

Dave do you know what seperates you from most of the males that I know- even though your marriage to Carmen has ended - you my friend have never said an ill word against her. In fact, you still treat her with the upmost respect and are protective of her. Maybe you ought to be giving lessons to the rest of your gender.

Angel, I don't think Dave really answered the sex addict question, although he seemed to infer, by saying what do you mean now, that he has always been a sex addict. I did ask him that question not too long ago on SRL, and he said no.

I dream about stairs all the time.

And Carl Jung is chasing me down them and when we get to the bottom, we both turn around and I chase him right back up them. Then at the top is Freud saying, "Hey freaks-lets party!" but then, just as we all start to get into the jacuzzi, Sally Jesse Raphael comes in the room and goes, "Whoa, this shit is WEIRD!", and then BAM! Carl Jung is chasing me again, right back down the stairs.

To avoid transfering bed bugs from hotels to your own sanity home and bed never put suicases on or near your bed. And you can check for them prior if you can be stuffed. Just check the little fold/tab/seam/thing around the edge where the side and top part od matress is sewn together. They're brown...
