Camp Freddy

Photo: Brian Romero
Last night's Camp Freddy charity gig in LA for Musicians Assistance Program/MusiCares was a blast. Thanx to everyone at Indie and all of our guests who made it possible. Joining us last night was Jerry Cantrell, Terri Nunn, Johnny Fava, Elan, Steve Jones, John Taylor, Steve Stevens, Warren Di Martini, Tony Kanal, Steve Isaacs, Duff, Ben Lee & Mark McGrath. We shot a video during the show for our new Christmas single, Merry Christmas Everybody, which is now up at iTunes.
The real stars of the line up last night were Drive A. They are only 14, but when they opened the show, they rocked The Avalon like seasoned pros.
Tomorrow night in Atlanta I will be hosting a little party at Fever, located on Chesire Bridge Road. If you are in the area, come on by!
"I got busted buying a box of Trojans and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!" HAHAHA! Thanks to the people at Trojan who sent me this shirt and two complimentary boxes of 12 condoms.

You look like you are enjoying yourself in that picture, man. Do your guitars get all banged up in the back from those belt buckles?

There you are! I was beginning to worry and was going to send out a search party of sexy elves to track you down. But apparently someone beat me to it.
Glad you enjoyed the show. It looks awesome and, as usual, I wish was out west to see it. CF shows are so much fun.
Speaking of CF, thanks for the Christmas song... Groovy, baby! Very 1960s. Can't wait to see the video. I guess it's a live one, although when I hear the music, I envision footage of you guys wearing Santa hats and goofing around by the tree. :)
Thx for the "Loophole" download. It rocks! Way cool.
Hope all is wonderful, everyone. Be well and watch out for tainted scallions in your tacos!!
All the best,

Check out these kids performing Iron Maiden's The Trooper. They musically kick ass, guitar is smokin(vocals are hard to hear).
Maybe child prodigies?
Hopefully these kids get noticed by someone in the biz to further develop their musical talents. The future of rock looks good.
