Just got back home (I live in Auckland which is in the North Island of New Zealand) from my trip to Nelson, which is at the top part of the South Island in New Zealand. I just got the Panic Channel album last night. I've been putting off getting it, as I've been super-broke. I love, love, love it. Seriously, I know I'm not your target demographic anymore (boring suburban stay-at-home mom), but I loved it. I almost never buy cds or listen to music radio, (I'm more Air America and NPR) but this one I had to have. Thank you. Even my kid liked it, and lately all she likes is Phantom Of The Opera. "Awake," specifically, meant a lot to me, as my baby brother (heh. "baby" brother towers over me and could bench me and my kid together) got deployed to Iraq last week, and I know from my Dad what that shit can do to a psyche.
