Storm: I thought it was going to be really intimidating and I thought it was going to be intense, but I felt like I had played on stage with him for years and he said the same thing to me. It was like peas in a pod. Dave Navarro is a doll. I don't get to watch the show so I don't know how it comes across, but he is one of the most articulate and funny guys. Everyone - This will be my final post. I've had some fun over the past few weeks, but now I've decided to move on. I originally came here to bash the whole SN and Lukas thing. I know I wasn't alone with my opinions of them and how horrible there original songs are. Dave Navarro's website was a place for me to vent about the whole thing. I can clearly see how dedicated a lot of you Dave fans really are. If he is your idol than so be it.

Dave - Thank you for the video that was aimed towards the "Darkside". It's great to see that you have a good sense of humor. You have to admit that the "Darkside" kept things interesting around here. I hope things will eventually get back to normal for your diehard fans. Your not a bad musician and I apologize for some of my insults towards you, it was all in fun. Thank you again for making this site open to the public.

Paul - You make me laugh. I'm not sure how many identities you really have... I always look forward to seeing your next post, because they crack me up man!! Eventually you will also get tired of stirring up shit.

Silky, NIN STILL rocks, harder than ever! Sober, focused Trent is amazing. I saw them 5 times in 13 months on this tour, the club warmup at Hammerstein, MSG, House of Blues in AC, PNC and Jones Beach and EVERY show got impossibly better and better. For a band to be able to rock small clubs, Madison Square Garden and outdoor amphitheaters and still destroy the audience at every show is unheard of. It doesn't hurt that he has a killer band now with Aaron North, Alessandro Cortini, Jeordie White and Josh Freese.

Amber and Chrissy will agree although they're the West coast contingent so they were at different shows :) And Moon is in between.

I am in Canada so I saw the only performances here on his tour except 1 cause it sold out in 2 minutes flat (damn ticket master bullshit). My favorite performance of all 3 was the one they did in London ON. Yes it is my hometown, BUT, it was a total industrial rave dedicated to the spiral. That was the fucking shit for me. Dear Scott and Paul... ah, you're not such bad dudes... and you really did liven things up around here. I loved how much attention Paul paid to my testicles recently, and the fact that he helped me keep the topic of "guitars" alive on this site.
I just wanted to help you guys out; I have a couple of buddies (Psycho Dave, Big Daryl) in the Toronto chapter of the Hell's Angels.
With over a hundred full-patch members (largest in North America) , they're a little pissed right now because about 50 of them have been arrested after a huge sweep by the Ontario Provincial Police.
Anyway, if you guys are looking for further, more rewarding challenges, the Angels have their own online publication and I also believe each local can be contacted... why not post a few "turd" comments on the Toronto site? I know Psycho Dave would TOTALLY enjoy hearing from your type. (want his phone #?)
One final thought; Dave has been very subtle and elegant in his addressing of the warfare on this blog... the Darksided! video is a classic for the ages... the (CLOSED) thread... the (SO closed) thread... the dangerous comment about anarchy being fun... how about some new terms for thread closings?

I lucked out, the first club tour didn't have the spiral running yet so I got KROCK presale tix. Then the HOB show sold out but the Spiral actually sent me an email asking if I wanted tix--they track who has them through the fanclub or not and who lives in the area. So I got those. Then had 3rd row for Jones Beach from the spiral but in that section, 3rd is front row because of the bowl. Loves me teh spiral! Best fanclub EVER.
:) Kristen, Moonrider, Ambersonian and Chrissy are also huge nin fans.

Hell yeah they do. I've seen Trent live 4 times in the past year and a half. He is insane live. I go to a lot of shows...and nobody I've seen live, (and I do mean NOBODY) can come close to the amount of raw rage, energy and emotion that Trent harnesses while performing. Their shows are actually cathartic...at the risk of sounding crazy, it's absolutely a spiritual experience. You leave their shows feeling completely spent physically and emotionally. Ahhh...I could go on for hours...all you NIN fans join us at the Asylum in the NIN appreciation thread.

Chrissy and I will be seeing Trent play an acoustic set at Shoreline coming up in just a couple weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll share some of the new material he's been working on. It's gonna be off the chain!!
