New For Now...

(Sham, Dave & SRL's Messy Stench) Well, last night's Halloween party is now a historical fact. The event was so out of control that I am quite sure that I will be laying very low on the actual Halloween. I went with Riss and Storm. Riss was Snow White and Storm was a Pimp. Me? I just threw on some horns and a nightgown and I was set. Hell, it was a costume/lingerie party so I opted for both... Plus, you know I just love that stuff anyway. Halloween is the one night of the year that my actual fashion instincts seem to blend in. Storm and Riss and I got ourselves a table and pretty much stayed put for the night.

Over 2000 people ended up at the thing so unless you had yourself a place to sit, you were sure to receive a mouth full of wig or a face full of wings. There are always those costumes that are amazing looking at home, but when you get out, render you utterly useless. Angels & Pez dispensers... You know, shit like that. "Hey, isn't this funny I'm a phone booth?" Sure they were all fun to look at, but I'd hate to be stuck in one of those things for an hour or two... And that's not even getting into the whole bathroom concept. It got SUPER crowded.

At least I had the foresight to arrange a little after hours event at the hotel next door. THAT was a lot of fun too. I had to bribe the front desk guy to bring up some drinks for my guests. I will get to the Sunday 10 tomorrow!

Wow. I don't know how you can stay up all night at 39 with no drugs. Amazing!!!

Posted by: Linda69 at October 29, 2006 06:47 AM

The party must of been fun if you are going to bed @ 5am. Either that or the after party was! Question for the Sunday 10- Have your brothers been able to see you perform very often & what do they think about it? I am sure they look up to you. Take care & get plenty of sleep today. Sundays are good for that.

Great photo. What's the story attached to that? Is it a recent one and who took it?
What was your costume? Did you have to wear the brace - hope you're much better now.
Looking forwards to hearing detail!

Morning Dave. :-) Happy Halloween! When it comes to the party, I hope you "likeded dat (stuff), Papi!" LOL Sounds like you had a great time and I wouldn't expect anything else with 'King David' holding court. :-) Catch ya later when you regain consciousness. Then, I hope we'll get the 'tale of the glow sticks.' LOL Ah, I was up most of the night, too, only it was with the flu. Not quite the same thing. ;-) Wow, our weather is really weird here at the moment... sunshine, windstorm and rain going on all at the same time. I think my Norse weather deities must have had themselves a little party last night, too, from the looks of it. LOL Later, bro, and peace peeps. :-)

Sunday 10:
1) Politics... Any ambitions to spread radio live philosophy in a broader capacity? Ever thought maybe one day you'd like to go along the lines of Clint Eastwood, Arnold S? Reaching people through breakaway media, establishing a new broadcast channel = wanting to change the way we the public receive information, to "take it back", decode or anything else seems to be the statement of someone who has a passion. In an ideal world how far would you like to go with that?
Here in the UK a chef, Jamie Oliver, decided to campaign against the unhealthy contents of kids school dinners... he took it all the way through the schools and challenged government until the Prime Minister and the cabinet took note. Things have changed. So, you see, someone with passion and a statement / message can change the status quo of an industry if they so choose.

2) Do you regret things you've done or only the things you haven't?
Do you think it's always possible to learn from every experience? Or sometimes is it just a case of dealing with the ones that fucked you up?
Have you noticed that with age occasionally comes wisdom? This wisdom will supposedly then prevent the destructive streak that yells loudly "It will be fun!"

3.) Was it always gonna be the guitar? :)

And 4) Who do you want to meet that you haven't? Who do you want to sit and chat with (and about what) til dawn?

Thanks, have a great Sunday.

Hey Dave, great picture. Hope you had a great time at the party, but you were in at 5 o'clock, so my guess is that you did. :p How did those last 8 glow stick work out for ya?

Well, hope you get some rest. :) Happy Halloween!

Oh, and if you decide to do a Sunday 10:

In the spirit of partying, since you don't drink but you like to hang at the clubs, are there any virgin drinks that you like? Any you'd recommend?

Have a good Sunday. :)

Hey DN< and I just went to a mellow Halloween church party last night...... ah the life of a parent:) Had fun with the kids tho!

Glad you had fun!

A question for the Sunday 10. Loved the show with you and Tom Green! Do you plan to appear on his show again? Would you ever consider having a whole show like that from your own home?

How long have you been drinking coffee? I started at age 5 I believe, course with tons of cream and sugar. Well, get your java and get refueled.

Happy SUNday, luv ya, Db

Hey Dave. :-) Welcome back amongst the living, bro. LOL Red is a good color for you and you know how to rock a boa. ;-) Stormy must be fun at a party. She's such a funny, bold and vivacious person. The thought of Larissa and Storm cooking up fun does get the imagination going... LOL From that photo, you are in your 'element.' :-) Yeah, we're already making plans to 'soften up'/convert/exercise gentle suasion on the hotel staff for our February RS:SN concert gathering in Vancouver. "Great minds think alike... and fools think differently." LOL ;-) Enjoy your java and I'm looking forward to the Sunday Ten. Glad you had a great time, man. :-)

1. Have you thought about what the first project for your "Factory" is going to be...maybe a film starring your top 24? That would be HOT!!

2. Speaking of casting, do you have any say in the casting of the Product?

3.Last I read, your photo booth was still in your garage, any hope of resurrecting it, seems that it would be kinda cool to to a sequel of sorts...

4.You are a professed lover of all things 'dark', is there a movie out there that has had the power to scare you?

5.If I came to your house on Halloween, and said Trick or Treat, what would you put in my sack?

love,
jezzi(boo!)

It says on the TPC site that you won't be playing all the shows on the RS:SN tour and a few dates are specified. Are there any dates that you definitely WILL be playing, or is the whole thing up in the air at this point?
