Dave:
Could the RS:SN House Band actually become an entity of their own with say, Magni joining them? So many people have been mentioning this when they all felt Magni had a greater connection with them. Just wondering your thoughts on this.
Rock on Dave...

Wow I'm glad I didn't spend the money and arrange child care to see Lucas and the OomplaLoompa's in concert. I was all set to get reservations in Portland and everything. I'm just going to keep playing my old Metallica and Crue cd's. I guess I'm getting too old to see the draw of Lukas, but I know the younger rockers are all about him. Probably is a good move for SN to get someone to stimulate the little teen girl audience. To hell with that scary little leprechaun. I'm off to download The Panic Channel cd from WalMart. I recorded all the shows on my Dish, and watch them for the performances anyway. I can always fast forward through Lukas. I forgot all about "Starman" until Magni dialed it up again!

Well , it is all over.
But we are offended !
Did you ever check the spaces ?
We who where promoting our people ?
Worked hard , and got little visits ?
Was it just a joke , the spaces ?
Some of the spaces are pretty good and well done .
They should get a little mention and you might tell Supernova to have a look.
But thanks anyway for a great Rockstar show.

I was always for Dilana but would have been satisfied with Toby winning but skunk boy can’t sing worth shit... Now that T-Lee has been ordered to change the bands name by a judge, they should go ahead and change it to SuperDud.
The only thing T-Lee and the others proved is they have no balls to have a woman lead singer.. The big bang they had hoped for will just
fizzle out into obscurity
Posted by: jeff at September 13, 2006 02:19 PM
I am so proud of Lukas. If people don't like him because of his voice, download some of his music, it sounds totally different.
Posted by: Angie at September 13, 2006 02:19 PM
well, i guess i dont need to watch the show tonight then. ive seen lukas live here in toronto and i would not pay good money for that.
Posted by: estrojenn at September 13, 2006 02:19 PM
Just cancelled my Supernova tickets for New Years, phone LV if you want them. I heard the Supernova Tracks and thought they were poor, but might be ok with a good singer, now there is not a chance of that.
Sum Up, Tommy. Crue was cool in 1989, now lead singer is a fat drunk, group is a joke except for Nikki. Gilby, a replacement for Izzy in that group that used to Exist GNR. He was just part of the dog and pony show Axl turned GNR into with horns and backup singers.
Jason, vanished since running from Metallica. Metallica goes on, a bit of a joke now, but way less of a joke than Supernova will be with a lead singer with no range who should be back at Hooters burning wings.

Crap. Now do I get tickets and leave after the house band and Panic Channel?? My ears will bleed if I sit through Lukas without a remote to flip to another channel or mute!
Posted by: tracy at September 13, 2006 02:28 PM
Lukas would have been my last choice, but then again music is a very subjective thing. if the band felt he was right for them then i guess he was the right choice. although i definitely would have gone with toby :-) that is one sexy guy.
all that's left for me is to thank the show for re-sparking my passion for rock and inspiring me to do cool things of my own. sometimes we get stuck in the routine of life and forget what it feels like to be passionate about something and do it from the heart, and even though it was a tv show it did get me thinking...
storm was actually the most inspiring, she has a very healthy attitude towards life in general and seems like a person you could learn a lot from if you knew them.
and last but not least, DAVE, you are awesome for caring this much about what your fans think and feel and for letting everyone feel as if they are in a small way a part of your life.
you rock, dude.
Posted by: Tali at September 13, 2006 02:28 PM
Hi Dave,
Well, sorry we won't be able to see you on TV lookin as hot as ever. I have to say that I am so excited that Lukas won. He had me at Rebel Yell and I never looked back. He just has that something that the others did not. Keep rockin that body of yours.
Lovin you sexy
Peace

I'm not a big Lukas fan but I am happy for him. (My favorite is Magni). But I grew an appreciation for Lukas watching the webisodes on the SN site. Regardless of what anyone thinks, the top 4 (and Storm) can have remarkable careers provided they strike while the fire is hot -- like right now. My biggest fear for Magni is that now that he has international fans, I hope that he does not disappear only to be a bigger celeb in Iceland. I think all these should use this experience as their stepping stone...now.
Posted by: Andi at September 13, 2006 02:29 PM
Talk about signing the Supernova death warrant...no tickets for us for the Philly or Norfolk shows! There is no way I'd spend a dime to listen to that stumbling, bumbling jerk sing for two hours-he reminds me of someone convulsing into a gran mal seizure!
I hope Dilana tells you all to fuck off and goes on her own-screw the houseband and second place bullshit!
Hope you are happy too Dave-do you get a bonus from MB for knocking her hard enough that there was no way she'd come out on top? Had to know it was coming-you all are very transparent!

underwhelmed would be the word.
a album out of obligation and a small 3 month tour. then its back to real bidnet.
my biggest disappointment is how this SN has overshadowed TPC so much, its like the panic channel is a non-issue here.
whatever, congrats lukas and janet charlton i guess. i thought the real singer would take it, but in a world filled with whiny snivelers, lukas fits right in.
his oedipus complex kinda makes me go yuck...
Posted by: Blithercaster at September 13, 2006 02:33 PM
Whatever people think....SN believes they picked the best match. I have to agree with them. You need someone with a solid edge to get by in the music bus. Someone that stands out. There is lots of hate here...but I guess people are mad because their fav was not picked. Understandable...but still some people just need to grow up. Rock on Lukas.
Posted by: Candice at September 13, 2006 02:34 PM
Well, I take it that little cartoon chicken with eyebrows has won? I'm sorry for that. If a Smashing Pumpkins tribute band was ever in need of a singer, I'd say sign him up. I, for one, cannot tolerate his voice, nor that pecking-chicken thing he does.
Magni, Toby, Dilana, Storm & Ryan - hurry up and get CDs out there - I'll save the money I WON'T be spending on Supernova for those.
Posted by: rifer at September 13, 2006 02:34 PM
I’d like to thank Supernova for saving me some of my hard earned money. Now I don’t have to buy the album when it’s released or trek out to the shows once the tour starts! I thought they might have picked someone who can actually sing – too bad. Good luck to them!
Posted by: Skye at September 13, 2006 02:40 PM
Dave,
I enjoyed seeing you this morning at the last taping. Sniff, sniff. As the girl in the audience yelled out when Dilana was momentarily tongue-tied, you were HOT. Are always hot. The rest of us were envious of the girls you pulled up to your seats at the end. Lucky girls.
You have such a quick wit and are so entertaining. Your comment to Gilby about that guitar riff was hilarious.
Thanks for making this a memorable season both at the tapings and here on your blog. I will look forward to seeing you guys in concert and keeping an eye out for TV appearances.
And will remain a fan of your website. I am interested in seeing what is said once the SN nonsense has died down.
Peace, out
Posted by: Tustin at September 13, 2006 02:42 PM
Dave, I wish last night's show had some sort of "board room" moment like on The Apprentice, where the guys could make their case, and where the band could grill them on the tough questions about being their frontperson. I'd have liked to see Lukas discuss the music put out by Metallica/Voivod/Crue/MoM/GnR.... does he like any of it? He's been snobby enough musically to diss several other acts, including Nirvana. It would be good to know if he thinks he's "too good" to front Supernova.
Or they could have asked Dilana to produce some tracks she's written prior to being on Supernova... if she's even done much songwriting (ie is she an "empty suit"?).
It would have been good to learn how these personalities might mesh as a band w/ a little more non-singing insight, at least for the top 4.

Posted by: blue-eyed devil at September 13, 2006 02:44 PM
SN might have lost some fans...but they will have sold out shows from all their new fans. Like him or not. Lukas is the one. Get over it. Bitching about it will not change anything. Signed sealed and delivered. So stop looking for the hate and accept the decision. Me for one..couldn't agree more with their decision. I had lots of singers that I enjoyed...but I knew that Lukas was the right match for them.
Posted by: Tonia at September 13, 2006 02:45 PM
Like Storm put it, it doesn't mean they don't rule, just that they were not the right fit with Supernova. I can see Toby, Magni, Storm, and Ryan Star going so much farther without Supernova. They are sell out arena material. I haven't seen the show yet. But the winner was always obvious. And I hope they all do well. It's been fun watching them. Dave has brought some great new musicians to the world this season. Good on ya for that!!! We needed them! And many people discovered SRL this season!!!
Posted by: New fan at September 13, 2006 02:45 PM
Not a surprise. He was the guy to beat from the beginning. The Chevy Nova songs haven't been great. Toby would have been a better pick to give those songs some life and energy.
Prefer to have the surprise now than tonight on TV.
Watching last night, it was clear that "Magni and the House Band" is the concert I'd buy a ticket to see.
Posted by: John at September 13, 2006 02:46 PM
And John, apparently you will get your wish as they said Magni and all of the non-winning final competitors will be on some part of the tour and be playing with the house band down the road.
Posted by: Tustin at September 13, 2006 02:49 PM
why is it people come here and bitch the fucking shit out of supernova ....if they think they were better -hell get up and do it!!!

Dave, just got your solo album. I'm diggin' it. I love your voice. Will you please do a little more singing with Panic Channel. I think the switchup would be a nice addition. And I'm sure your fans would dig it.

Well, if the outcome is what the spoiler buzz on the net is telling us (Lukas wins) then it just confirms a few things.
1: The show is just a celebrity circle jerk.
2: People in Hollywood, and the entertainment industry in general, are so far out of touch with the world outside of their celbrity circle jerk that its almost sad. Kind of like thinking Brokback Mountain would be seen by anyone other than people working in show biz. And yet it wins an Oscar.
The best thing that could happen would be for Johhny Rotton, Janis Japlin, Jimmy Hendrix and Joe Strummer to gather up some dead gods to come back from the grave and smack the crap out of everyone involved in this show.
Whats next? Are You going to tell me manufactured 'Boy Bands' are the new Rock and roll?
It's a sad day when all the industry can push on us is freeze dried pop tarts. Justin Timberlake types are not the new 'cool' in Rock music. It will never happen no matter how much advertising money and promotion spots you give them.
Posted by: Seeker at September 13, 2006 02:53 PM
I hope you all aren't right! I was ready to buy all their albums and see the concerts (only one here in Washington)if Dilana won, or even some of the albums and no concerts for Toby or Magni, but if you're right then "I got something stuck in my throat..it must be T-Lee" from Canada will never grace my ears...and Supernova will burn out like Lee's solo career! I will follow the other three though!
Posted by: Karlene at September 13, 2006 02:53 PM
Tickets on EBAY for VA show-I absolutley refuse to sit through 2 hours of someone mumbling like they just swallowed a bag of marbles!

Dave, when you go on hols come down under for your bit of R & R, the weather is unreal at the moment, sun is shining, birds are singing and you couldn't want for anything else.
Upset that I won't be seeing you on the TV for two nights, but now that I know that your site exists I shall visit you more often. I'm only a new family member to the 6767's and I love it.

I'm glad that Dilana didn't win, but seriously... did it have to play out EXACTLY like Janet Charlton said it would? A tad too coincidental for my liking. And, in my opinion, the fact that she was right takes away from the integrity of the program. THAT is disappointing.
Good for the Lukas. I think that kid honestly just wanted to be in Supernova because he liked the guys, not because he was looking for a path to something better.

Hey guys, as for listening for GRUMBLE, go download some of Lukas's stuff---Definately no grumble there, ever think it may be the feedback from him being so close to the mike, no probably not, just can't admit when someone has some talent. Has anybody heard how many songs he has with the Canadian Song Writing Company, no probably not, as for the way most think on here, Lukas has no Talent.

Get over it people. And as for Janet C. knowing...hell I knew on the first episode. So if I put that on a website and say the contest was rigged..does that mean it was? Pleaseeeee.. The chick took an educated guess on what she saw and hoped that people believed her. I guess she got what she wanted. Why is whenever there is a contest people always thinks it rigged. And why bash Lukas when all he did was get on that stage and do his best. Yes, I think there is a lot of hate on here...but I believe the Dave and SN knows that there is also sooo much happiness for him from his fans. Hey, even most of the rockers that left the house said that he should get the gig...and at this point they should know better than any of us.

Them's fightin' words girl. This is Dave's board and obviously you don't really have an interest in Dave...so what are you doing here exactly?
Posted by: Just Me at September 13, 2006 03:04 PM
Hi Dave,
Thanks for all the fun this summer with Rockstar. I think you proved your point - the need to showcase rock & rock talent.
Your readers will probably roast me for saying so, but the amount of animosity and disbelief all over the internet at this point proves to me, anyway, just how right you were.
Very few kids grow up with classical musical training or exposure, and the vast majority of what they consider "music" just isn't. I love all music - even good Rap and Hip Hop is awesome - but so much of what I hear these days just plain sucks. I won't pick on the old folks, but many willingly admit their tastes are set in the past. Music is itching for a creative breakthrough, and I applaud your efforts - on every level - to make that happen.
I've been wondering latetly if the concept of musicality is just over people's heads? Well I'll leave it at that and say a thank you to "the powers that be" for Lukas, and a nod to you, Dave, for creating the opportunity.
-RoadDog (but NOT the one your guitar tech should contact!!)
Posted by: RoadDog at September 13, 2006 03:05 PM
I have had some good laughs over the past weeks. I was annoyed at how Tommy appeared to pick on Magni quite a bit. Maybe he's jealous of Magni's talent or his witty comebacks to his sarcastic remarks. Lukas wasn't my pick but I wanted the best singer to win. The guys picked the person they thought best fitted their band. Highlights of the show for me were Dave's make-up, Gilby's hair, Tommy's skinny frame and Magni, Toby and Dilana performing. I was too distracted by Lukas' appearance to judge his singing properly.

Wow, this sucks, just like lukas does. Whatever their name is going to be, they are going to tank big time, and they deserve to since they chose the biggest failure of all time to front the band. Not going to purchase anything put out by them, nor will I go see them live...i'll go see everyone else's projects though, and believe that the rest of the final four as well as many of the others dumped along the way will eclipse them with ease.

I am curious as to how some people have found out that Lukas won, thanks for the spoiler people!!!!
some of us do not live in LA and would have liked to have found out by watching the show, oh well, I guess when your bitter you want to ruin it for everyone else.
For all those who are disappointed that Lukas won,
oh well so sad, don't go, send me your tickets...rofl.
I don't think they will be all that torn up because a handful of you are bitter...lol.
Get over it! The fact remains, Canada produces the best singers- its all that fresh northern air.
Posted by: Noelle at September 13, 2006 03:07 PM
I am totally stoked that Lukas has been chosen to front the band...I have to say that I am not in the least surprised, I knew it would be him from early on because he is an UNREAL talent, he fits Supernova, and TLee loves him. Janet Charleton didn't have any inside sources that told her who the winner was...she wrote that on her site because she knew, like everyone else, that the answer was obvious.
**2 Canadians in a row, eh?

Hello Dave, I feel so bad for you that you have to read a lot of this negative crap. I really feel bad for Dilana. She was my choice even though I knew that Lukas would probably win. I believe that Dilana wanted this gig the most. I hope she took it alright and I wish her all the best. As for Lukas, Congats. It had to be one or the other. Good luck in everything you do. I have enjoyed reading your postings and I believe that you have a lot of class. It has been a pleasure. Bye until next ROCKSTAR??????
Posted by: Ronee at September 13, 2006 03:11 PM
Okay...we can all do the math here. It was a tight - close race between 4 people. So we can guess the fans were devided into almost four...so yes...we get the point that 3/4 of the people are not going to be happy. If Magni won - people would have been - "He is soo boring - why did you choose him?" If it was Toby - "Good singer, not the right fit for the band" and Dilana - "Good singer but watch you back for flying glass" Yadda Yadda Yadda. I say...congrats Lukas and the remaining 3. You all did great jobs...but only one of you is the total right fit for SN...That was Lukas. Do you really see the others fronting this band...I mean really. I love their voice...but none of them was right for the band. They are all good singers....but again and again..they were not the right fit.
Posted by: Okay at September 13, 2006 03:11 PM
alrighty.. now that all the fanfare is over and SN has lost the rights to the name SuperNova..
My thought is, all the shit that has been contracted to go along with their tour might be null and void because the name is gone?
Parties that really don't want to be associated with this circus might be able to back out without a bunch of shit hitting the fan.
New name thoughts?
The Tommy Lee Project?
(# of tour dates scheduled) days
The premise of this show isn't a bad thing.. getting rock and roll back on television is good. Including songs that are clearly not rock and roll (I will survive) in the offerings was bullshit.
This was the first reality show I ever got sucked in to. I didn't even see the first 3 episodes but I got hooked (TY Storm Large) and as anticlimatic as it will be, I will be turing it on tonight just to see the performances (mostly Magni)
I do hope to see you Dave, and Brooke next season.. maybe with a bit of a new twist. Put together another killer house band - prize being a 6 month tour with said band - and national exposure. Just weed out the crap songs from the selection. Revolving judges maybe...
any thoughts on another season people?
Posted by: Opal at September 13, 2006 03:13 PM
Im kinda shocked by people selling their tickets just cause skunky canuck won. You'd still get to see the house band and TPC, I'd pay just to see that, then leave. Im sure you wont be the only ones. Besides, go for the house band, and you get to see Storm.

Just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed watching Rockstar this season...
You and Gilby are so well-spoken and SO COOL!!!
Can't wait to see you guys in concert.

My interest was never in SN to begin with! My reason for going to this site is I am and always will be a Dave Navarro fan. Kudos Dave,<. Keep on rocking in the free world ! <: Love Peaches

I am sooo buying tickets now...thank you SN. Oh and congrats to the remaining four. You all did a great job......oh and can you see that Lukas fans don't bash. Can we say the same for others. Get a life people. Yes, it is a contest...you all heard great singers and it is easy to fall in love with some of them. If they don't fit..they don't fit...maybe that is why Lukas has so many fans. He always took it like a man...and not a baby. Grow up and take it like a man. The show is over...you don't have to watch it...

Hey can anyone tell me if there was all this bad negative talk last year with Rockstar:Inxs?
Posted by: Angie at September 13, 2006 03:17 PM
Dave: If you are smart you will delete this thread unread. But then again if you did that you wouldn't be reading this post telling you to delete the thread. Ok, so if you are smart you are sitting on a beach right now watching the naked cavort in the waves while sipping a nice fruity drink and thinking about how to fit all those nice, young, firm, nubile female bodies into your bedroom.
And now to actually vent:
To everyone who thinks that Lukas mumbles: Did you ever stop to ask yourselves why Tommy, Jason or Gilby never called him out for it? Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, the sound was muddy, or improperly mixed? I would think that if Lukas was an incomprehensible as it seemed, and he sure seemed so on my tv, then SN *and* Dave would have said something. Obviously, then something was lost between what the studio heard and what came across on our tv's.
And about the songwriting. If all Lukas can write is one chorus and one verse, then who wrote the song he sang for the first clinic? It seemed a complete song to me. I don't remember him just singing one verse and one chorus over and over again. And I think they only had something like 48 hrs to do that? Hmmm. And since he has quite a catalogue of songs from his Cleavage and Rise Electric days, I wonder who wrote all of those? Maybe the other band members? And he did say he wanted to see how Gilby and he would work together bouncing ideas off each other. Oh, and before I forget...someone who was also accused of being lazy and unprofessional, JD Fortune. Gee, I wonder what ever happened to that guy.
And the jerky movements on stage. I guess you guys have never been totally lost in a moment where you aren't aware of how you are moving. It's called total abandonment, people. and that is what, for me anyway, a good performer does...abandons oneself to the music...becomes a conduit for the music. I don't care if he writhes on the floor pretending to masturbate, if he can bring the goods and take me along with him then that's all that matters to me. You want coreography? Go watch Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears.
As for not being able to sing. Ever hear of Lou Reed? Leonard Cohen? Bob Dylan? Patty Smith? Bob Geldof? Neil Young? Or even Bono? For fucks sake, half the old blues singers couldn't sing! And the blues is the basis for rock music. If you want someone who has a good voice and can sing the socks off of you go listen to Celine Dion. For me, the most important thing that elevates a person who can sing great into the realms of people who are great singers is passion and conviction. I would rather have Bob Dylan make my ears bleed than someone with a great voice bore me to death.
So get a grip people. Too bad, so sad that your favourite lost. But it wasn't you who lost. Why take it so personally? And I'm quite sure that Suave Porn aren't going to be up on stage all depressed because you decided not go to the show.
And Dave, I didn't get tickets to the Toronto show but if they add another one, and I hope they do, I'll be there with bells on. I just hope they don't clash with your music. What do you think, should I get small jingle bells or the larger bells that they use on horse's tack? Red bells, or green, or brass? Or maybe I should just get one big bell and wear it as a hat?
Posted by: PhanTim at September 13, 2006 03:17 PM
I wish I would have guessed and reported as fact from an inside source on my gossip blog that Lukas would win and suddenly become famous. It's a really fucked up situation for Dave, this bitch selects the guy who gets the most forum traffic and is assumed by everyone to be the favorite, and says he's already been picked as the winner. To prove her wrong, the band would have to pick someone they didn't like as much or pick Lucas and be accused of rigging the show.
Remind me to try this when the new season of 'American Idol' kicks off, though that probably won't be necessary, as Janet will roll the dice again with this tactic.
Posted by: jc at September 13, 2006 03:18 PM
WTF were you guys thinking? LUKAS?? bad choice, wouldnt pay $1 to see him sing! Dilana would have made you guys rise to the top.. You wont be around in 6 months.. Waste of my time watching your stupid show!

I'm gonna' miss watchin' you Dave. You're cute.
Posted by: headrush67 at September 13, 2006 03:20 PM
Well, it's all said and done. People are reacting as if they actually think this is a serious band. Give it up! Be honest, they're not going to last.
You don't like who won? Oh well. For every person that is disappointed right now, there are an equal amount that are happy.
Beyond all that junk, looking forward to some normal here. Enjoy the vacay Dave.

How much do you want to bet that Janet C. will say she knows who the winner is for next season. The nutcase made a good guess. I agree with JC in the above post. It put SN in a bad position...but obviously that said FU...we are still going with who we think the best is even if we get shit about it. Hats off SN...bravo and bravo on the selection
Posted by: ??? at September 13, 2006 03:22 PM
I couldn't help but look at the spoilers, I am so happy right now I know there are some pissed off people right now but what can you do, you can't please everybody But I am sure at the amount of haters there are right now you got double or triple the amount of lovers out there right now, and Dave now that the panic channel, the houseband and supernova or whatever their name will be by then I am definatly gonna go out and try to get tickets for your stop in Toronto thats gonna be one hell of a show. Hope you guys add more than 1 date here in Toronto cause your def gonna sell out. Can't wait to see the HomeTown Boy perform!! <3<3<3<3<3<3

Posted by: Dani at September 13, 2006 03:25 PM
Other than posts making fun of the band, no one has really commented on this aspect....
Picking a band name belonging to someone else is a monumental fuckup.
They've gotten millions of $$ in pub for a name they don't have rights to. Their only solid out is to pay big money to the rights holders.
Posted by: CCR at September 13, 2006 03:26 PM
Well I'm quite pissed that I know who won before tonight's airing (thanks a lot, spoiler assholes!!), but I'm not surprised by the choice. Disappointed? Totally!! SN should have thought this through a little more. The tracks they've produced so far are fairly contemporary - not the hard rock these guys all played in their previous lives - and of the singers they had to choose from, Toby has that voice of this generation of rock. ROCK. Not punk or grunge or emo or bands with front men who sound like they're singing with a mouth full of marbles and otherwise growl and whine a lot. Lucas just doesn't fit the style of what I've heard so far from SN and I think it will prove to be a bad choice when it's all said and done. And his original, 'Headspin' sucks! (Didn't he say his song was written for his mother? Weird!!) I have Magni as a close second to Toby but Toby wins on range, power, and the ability to soften/smooth it up. He's done a wonderful job refining his stage presence these past weeks, has a more dynamic (as opposed to spastic) energy than all the others, and perhaps more importantly, if SN were to use his original 'Throw It Away' it would hands down be the first and ultimately biggest single for the band. But that probably wouldn't have happened anyway. Think what happened to Mark Wahlberg's character in Rock Star - "we write the songs, you just show up and sing them." I'm betting also that Lukas doesn't have the type of voice to belt out 2 hours of straight-up rock every night. That would be my single greatest criticism of Dilana as well. I do like her voice but she's got that Stevie Nicks thing where she's going to lose her voice after half a set but there'll be no Christine McVie to bail her out. So Tommy, Gilby, and Justin, I think you blew it, but you know what? It doesn't matter. You guys made your money pimping the show and all that's left it laying down vocals (shitty vocals) to the songs, release the album, go on this tour then shut the whole thing down. Whether the band retains the Supernova name or not, my money says there will never be a followup album. What a huge disappointment guys.

I think this whole group would melvin Lukas, give him a swirly and giggle about it afterwards.
What I find interesting is that you mention Celine Dion. Now that is a performer I think Lukas has something in common with. A Fake, souless, manufactured musical celebrity. IE "pop Star".
I am still in a state of shock by all this. I feel like a bad joke has been played on me.

RE: "The best thing that could happen would be for Johhny Rotton, Janis Japlin, Jimmy Hendrix and Joe Strummer to gather up some dead gods to come back from the grave and smack the crap out of everyone involved in this show."
I can't speak for the others, but Joe Strummer would have ADORED Lukas.
FYI.. that many industry people could see Lukas' talent from the beginning does not mean the show was rigged. It does not mean the other rockers weren't talented. Each had strengths and weaknesses. Would you have preferred it Week 1 if SN said wow, this guy is great, show over? Come on, you had fun with the show. So support the person you came to a&preciate - make sure that person has a music career now that the show is done.

Ya know, as much as I didn't want and don't care for Lukas in the least, I'm not going to sit here on Dave's site and gripe and grumble about it.
I for one, am going to miss seeing Dave on a weekly basis on my Television set. He just gets sexier every week in my book.
I do know that TLee has saved me some money though. So off I go to spend that money on Dave's projects... later taters!

Thanks for the news about Lukas. I was going to miss the show tonight – live rock’s always better. I didn’t really care who won but it’s cool that Lukas is another Canadian. We rule! I like his Lou Reed/Johnny Rotten kind of vibe. Too bad Dilana did the oh so predictable self-destructive bytch routine though -- she can sing.
Thanks for bringing rock to TV, Dave. Can’t wait to see you and TPC in Vancouver in February.
peace,
Angela
Posted by: Angela at September 13, 2006 03:33 PM
Damn Dave you just can't win can you? Lukas won because SN decided they wanted him to front THEIR band.
I really don't like Lukas's singing style but he is the only performer that literally jumped out at me. It was obvious from the first show that certain members of the band where looking for showmanship first and the voice next. Lukas has the charisma and the arrogant swagger that frontmen like Steven Tyler and Mick Jagger have. That's what my 2 top choices Toby and Magni were missing. Toby is the fun party guy and Magni has a more intense and serious edge.
Toby and his band Juke Kartel have signed with Universal Australia already so hopefully we'll get to here something from them soon. I for one am going to give SN album a shot when it comes out and then if I still don't like it I'll just leave the Orlando concert after the HB and TPC perform.
Posted by: JMO at September 13, 2006 03:33 PM
well, SN just gave me a reason to save the money on seeing them live in western, NY or buying their CD.

Posted by: Cooper at September 13, 2006 03:33 PM
From the beginning it has been obvious that Lukas is a Rock Star. Rebel Yell on that first night was incredible and then they gave the encore to someone else!?
Think they have always tried to downplay Lukas' genius on the reality part and perhaps on the performance part too but Lukas is just too exuberant when he performs, so they could not hold him down.
I am so happy Lukas will be staying in the forefront of our lives. Have been trying to figure out what I would do without Lukas around to cheer me.
Dave promise me you will do something with Lukas and perhaps Toby after all the obligations to Supernova are complete.
Have really grown to respect your intelligence, witt, and sexy hotness.
Bisous, Rougette
Posted by: Rougette at September 13, 2006 03:33 PM
Yea...CCR, I agree. It's tough for people to buy to tickets to a show when they don't know the name of the band. Hmmm...let's try searching Ticketmaster for "the band formerly knows as supernova."
Better figure this out quick boys.
Posted by: Dawna at September 13, 2006 03:34 PM
Wow, I haven't seen the finale yet but it's pretty obvious that Lucas won. I am extremely dissapointed. Won't ever buy anything from Supernova now.

Cheers.

there is so much hate in the world already. Is the hate posted on this board (towards Lukas and other rockers fans) really necessary?
Its amazing how vindictive and downright nasty people get when things don't go their way. Jesus internet immitates life.
Like everyone else on the show I think Lukas sang his heart out and proved every week that he has the talent to change things up, put a new twist on any kind of music and remain for the most part diplomatic in the process.
It was pretty cool to watch them all grow and become real rockstars.
I wish them all the best of luck. They will all go far and I'd be happy to buy any of their upcoming albums.
I didn't know until reading this board that he had won. I kind of spoiled my own anticipation of watching tonight by coming here.
I will still watch though because this show has just been alot of fun (for those that took it in that context).
Dave thanks for taking the time to bring this back for a second season <3
I hope, even though your blog has become a simmering cesspool of crap, that you bring us a third season of Rockstar and showcase the talent that's out there, that we may not see, and allow us to come back here and share our views with you. And that you continue to share your humorous views with us.
/cheers and much love :)
Posted by: Serafina at September 13, 2006 03:40 PM
Assuming the spoilers are true...
Well, unlike INXS, SN isn't looking for longevity; these guys have other irons in the fire. Therefore, they just need to pick whoever they think has enough of a fan base to generate the BEST ticket sales in the near term. Yeah, it's all about the money.
I think if it were about who fit best with the band *long term*, Toby might have been the right choice.
BTW, I think Dave was a bit disingenuous Tuesday, saying that he didn't know who was going to be picked... Because if "I'd definitely pay to hear Lukas sing for two hours" isn't intentional pimping, I don't know what is.

Geez so much hate! It isn't good for you!
I am ECSTATIC Lukas won and I knew from week 1 it was between him and Dilana. I truly hope Dilana goes on to have a successful career, she deserves it - she has a ton of talent.
Toby gave karaoke performances. Magni will go on and have a huge career in Iceland.
Lukas showed to most range and took the most risks all season long.
Like someone said, you don't want your tickets because your crybabies? Send them this way!
PS- Dave you are so hot, I will miss seeing you twice a week on the TV

This is just like last year everyone hate JD and said INXS lost all their fans, boo hoo. But yet INXS is laughing all the way to the bank, and JD is stoked out of his mind. So your favorite did not win news flash it's not your band, if you do not like it don’t buy their music. Go support your favorite, in fact go support local musicians.
I personal think Lukas is the best thing to happen to music in a long time. I will support him and several other rockers. Overall the talent was so much better this year!!!
Go Lukas, go Rossi Possi.
Posted by: lukasfan at September 13, 2006 03:44 PM
OFF TOPIC BUT VERY IMPORTANT.
I wanted to let people know that there was another school shooting at a College in downtown Montreal. Reports are indicating that up to 13 are seriously wounded and some stations say 6 other stations are saying 7 are dead. The police shot one of the shooters but they think there was two of them and that one is on the loose.
I realize that this is not really the place to post such a message because it has nothing to do with rock, but it is one of those things that affects all of us in one way or another.
For myself, it makes the bickering over who won rockstar and whether or not they deserved it etc, kind of silly in comparison.
If people wouldn't mind, could you say a pray or whatever you personally do (take a moment) and think about those 20 students and the many more affected by this tragedy.
Sorry if this post is inapporiate Dave, or anyone else who may get thier nickers in a bunch, but I felt the need to ask you all for your support for these students and their families.

Noelle, You have a prayer from me, for what's it worth and why apologize?????...that was VERY appropriate to post that here. There's a lot more to get angry about in this world than over some t.v. show "reality" show (that is SO far from reality btw). It's sad how most people are so self-absorbed they can't see past themselves or their computer screens or their masked opinions to really know what the hell to be angry or depressed about. Maybe those people have been lucky enough to have never had to suffer tragedy or loss. I envy them if that's all they have to be angry about. I feel sorry for them if this is the only way they can let it go. Lucas won. Oh boy. Let's put it in perspective. Are we done now?

Wow, lots of hate. Well, here's some LOVE! I'm so happy Lukas won. I've loved him from BEFORE Supernova was even a gleam in Tommy and MB's wallets. I remember hearing him with his old band Cleavage. So, now my fave has won the big prize. I love it. It'll make following his career much easier.
Still disappointed in how poorly Marty's band has been promoted by their label. I was a huge Marty fan last year and it's been very discouraging to see the Lovehammers struggle still. So happy that Lukas will have less of a struggle to be heard now by his adoring fans, old and new!
Luke IS love! I'll be a fan forever, whether it be with SuperNoName, or a year later with whatever band Lukas decides to create beautiful music with. Today is a GREAT day to be a fan of great music!

go lucas go
although dilana was back to herself last night
can't wait!!
Posted by: kanoehead at September 13, 2006 04:06 PM
I'm praying that this isn't true. I'm hoping that Dave is going to laugh his ass off in his post later that everyone believed the rumors. Since when are tabloid writers credible?
My husband and I argued last night over who Supernova was going to pick. We both feel Dilana IS the best, but he guessed that LameAss LukASS would win. His theory was, Lukas is "modern rock" now that the "kids" are listening to The Killers, Panic At the Disco, etc. I argued Supernova would be stupid to let Dilana go. I still stand by that. I told my husband that if LukASS won, I will not buy any Supernova albums or tickets to any shows. I completely stand by that. I'll be waiting for Dilana's album to come out.

At this point I really don't give a shit who wins -- I'm really going to miss seeing Dave Navarro on t.v. twice a week! Hey man, please do another show.
Posted by: whitebird at September 13, 2006 04:11 PM
you know, for all of you that have posted the spoilers of tonight's show (if in fact you aren't just stirring the pot like a lot of you enjoy doing) you have just proved how selfish and childish you are. you have no respect for anyone. thank god this show is over. well, for most of us, it will be in a couple of hours.

Dave, is this shit over yet? Wake me when it's over.

What a bunch of sore losers. Instead of crying about whoever didn't get the gig, learn from it. Next time, wait until they declare the winner before you run out and buy tix. That's like buying a car and not knowing what model it is, even though you hate two of the three available.

oh and for all of you on here fucking whining: WAH FUCKING WAH.
sorry dave, i just can't take these assholes anymore.

We live in a global economy and news travels fast...
from the Sydney Morning Herald
Jano Gibson
September 13, 2006
Australian singer Toby Rand's free ticket to rock'n'roll glory has been pulled from him at the last minute after the outright favourite failed to win the US reality TV show Rockstar: Supernova.
Canadian rocker Lukas Rossi was crowned the winner this morning and has now earned the right to front drummer Tommy Lee's band, Supernova.
Rossi, who has similar looks to Australian Idol contenstant Lee Harding, is described on the Rockstar: Supernova website as a gifted singer with a "Jeff Buckley meets Freddie Mercury" style.
Rand had previously told media that if he didn't win the competition, he was still likely to get a record contract.
The 28-year-old from Melbourne was the outright favourite to win US reality TV show.
But it will be the Canadian contestant who will front Lee's new all-star band Supernova, featuring former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke.
The newly formed supergroup will record an album and embark on a 28-city tour of the US and Canada.
Rand had impressed Lee during the first 10 weeks of the show by stripping naked and also exciting female fans during live performances.
When Rand recently sang the Billy Idol anthem, Rebel Yell, the surfer from St Kilda dragged eight women from the crowd on stage to dance with him.
"Grab those girls and let's go back to my dressing room," a joyous Lee told Rand after the performance.
Clips of Rand have proved popular on internet video site YouTube, with fans entreating viewers to get on the "Randwagon" and vote him through.
On a recent episode, Lee and his Supernova bandmates, rewarded Rand ahead of his rival contestants with a $US25,000 Honda Element car.
The prize was given after the contestants were asked to perform an original song, with Rand impressing Lee, Newsted and Clarke with a fast-paced, Australian Crawl-sounding song, Throw it Away.
Before his performance, Rand, holding an Australian flag, honoured his fallen countryman, Steve Irwin.
"I know you guys all loved him," Rand said.
"Everyone back in Australia loved him - The Crocodile Hunter.
"I dedicate this to that boy right there."
The last four contestants in Rockstar: Supernova came from all corners of the globe.
Rand is well known on the Melbourne pub circuit for his band, Juke Kartel.
The Rockstar: Supernova finale airs in Australia on Foxtel's FOX8 channel today at 10am and 8.30pm.

Dave darling - you're still amazingly HOT - but I noticed last night - you could use a haircut.
Love ya!
{ok ... did that at least get your attention?}

Crap, I read your blog before the show aired here, Im freaking pissed........
Posted by: Courtney at September 13, 2006 04:21 PM
NOELLE: My prayers are with those affected by this shooting. I just read an article that 20 people were shot - 6 are critical and that the police killed the shooter.
JEFF: Eh... To each his own at this point. No matter what we do, there's always going to be someone to post spoilers no matter where we go.
Totally forgot that TLee did say this was a one album gig before the show started. Wish I could find that article, but someone's post above reminded me of it.
Someone else mentioned mixing or the mic being too close to Lukas' mouth in another post. Just a thought... if it was a mixing issue, why was it just for Lukas? He is the only one where 90% of the season, I couldn't understand what he was singing.
I would think that if SN truly wanted to make big bucks and have a successful CD that they'd want people to be able to hear the lyrics to their songs.
Well, no matter now, eh? Doesn't matter who they would have chosen, there'd still be a bunch of people coming here to Dave's site getting their hate on.
I say get over it already... Let's get back to just Dave and his endeavors and those that wanna discuss SN and their pick to front the band go elsewhere. Alas, that's wishful thinkin, ain't it?
Posted by: Tamm at September 13, 2006 04:22 PM
Yes, I was going to suggest that Dave swing by and maybe "gas up" the Austin City Limits festival on his vacation...Please come but if you do, I probably won't go otherwise because I cannot afford it.
You know what is really crazy? I have been reading this for weeks, and loving Dave's intelligence. Plus, the way he carries himself is great. But, I think of him as "dave" rather than "dave navarro". Well, last night I went to my kids open house, at where? NAVARRO elementary, in Lockhart, TX!!!!!!!!!! I finally connected the two and was like-too cool! My kids go to the "rocking-est school around" because of the name:)

Lukas? I thought Supernova were after a singer? Guess not.
What a waste of time this has all proven to be.
Posted by: JR at September 13, 2006 04:24 PM
I think the lead singer Supernova is looking for did not show up for this competition, but everyone on there is amazing in their own way and I have really enjoyed watching them all, as last season. Can't wait for another...
Posted by: Sharon Roberts at September 13, 2006 04:24 PM
Well Rossi won well color me fucking shocked.BWAAAAHHH?Look to all you losers out there who think you know fucking music.Guess what you don't how many of you lot watch American Idol?If you do then you don't qualify to post anything anywhere about rock music or anything for that matter.
Rossi is heads and shoulders better than anyone on this show his only competition was JD Fortune.Wait wrong fucking season but JD's Money was a fucking thing of beauty.Bittersweet Symphony was one the best things done on the whole show if not the best thing done on the whole show no Tommy didn't say it was the best but it fucking was.I eagerly anticipate a longer version of it cause it is the bomb the way Lukas does it.

Posted by: Angie at September 13, 2006 03:17 PM
actually no there wasn't. last year, people were grownups. that was a good question angie. nice to see an actual question instead of all of the rest.

I wonder if you have heard any of Lukas's stuff besides on Rockstar, I have some songs downloaded, and you can understand everyword, And you say that you had read before that this is just a 1 album deal, I never knew that, but then I didn't watch Rockstar wneh it first started, just happened to turn the channel one eveening and found it, Though I am disappointed that I did miss alot, and would loved to have seen last years show to.
Posted by: Angie at September 13, 2006 04:28 PM
Angie, no, I haven't heard his stuff other than rockstar... yet... someone suggested that I go over to YOU TUBE and find some of his stuff. I plan on doing that AFTER the finale tonight.

I must say I agree with AE about Tommy's comments to Magni, last night. DID he forget they told them to sing the same originals AGAIN? I mean come on, no it didn't have "oh,oh, oh, oh oh" but if you like heavier, guitar rock, YOU LOVED MAGNI's performance.
Thanks spoilers, you could have waited or posted a link. I will still watch but you could have respected us who wanted to wait and see.
Posted by: SharonW. at September 13, 2006 04:35 PM
Tommy said to Lukas not too long ago "You Da Man". Lukas worked his ass off and said that he came there to win and boy, did he ever. Congrats Lukas. He's bringing a lot of juice to music.

Lukasfan,
Yes, thank you. I did mean Sid. I was all frenzied after stopping here and reading the spoiler. I got my bitch out of my system now, thank you.
I still am completely baffled how the guy the general public can't stand won. Oh well. I dont have to listen to it or buy it and I wont.
Those complaining about being 'spoiled' I think your in the same boat as me. If you really didnt want to know ahead of time you probably should not have been browsing the sites directly related to SN today (this one included). You knew the word was going to be all over the place and you know it was the topic of the hour.
Tomorrow Lukas and SN will be forgotten. Today the world is confused and talking about it.
I wish him well. Hope he makes a quick buck. I still think the whole thing has about as much rock integrity as Celine Dion Singing an AC/DC tune, though.
Posted by: Seeker at September 13, 2006 04:38 PM
DAVE if you didn't give up on the human race before getting to this post....amen to that.
I am also sad that I came here to be told after waiting all day with excitement for the big night. I am overjoyed. Anyone who doesn't see the unique talent Lukas has isn't blind, or deaf. They just have a different taste in music than I and millions of others do. Go watch him on youtube and see how many honors his videos have gotten in the past few months. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the boy is a one a million talent. I am thrilled I have tickets to see you Dave and now the bigger bonus is Super(whateveryournewnamewillbe)nova. Why would people have the nerve to disrespect you and your blog this way is beyond my adult way of thinking. I want to say I am sorry and ashamed at other human beings for such rude behavior. The internet breeds it. Hiding behind a screen name, when you do not have the balls to say such things in a public forum, where you would have to show yourself as the low life that you are. I for one thank you Dave for being a fellow music lover. A fellow internet music lover and promoting what I thought was the best damn show on TV all year. Hell all century! I enjoyed it every Tues/Weds nights. Best of luck with TPC and I sir, will see you in Chicago!!!! With bells on.
Posted by: Sue at September 13, 2006 04:39 PM
Wow, I guess Lukas was crowned, I haven't seen the show yet. I gotta admit , I like the kid. I liked the stuff I've seen on youtube. That's OK, we need some new blood out there. Somebody who can write a new song, new lyrics. I don't
understand all the hate. If you don't like it, don't listen, or watch. nobody is forcing you. Are you sitting there tied up with duct tape in front of the TV? Guess my age is showing, I'm a child of the sixties and always will be. My library goes from Janis and Jimmy to Tool and TPC. I listen to what I like, go to concerts that I want to hear and see. I'm FREEEEEEEEEE, as The Who song goes. I learned a long time ago to vote with my pocketbook and my feet. Gheesh,
leave poor Dave alone already. He needs a rest from all this stuff. Go Dave, Maybe I'll catch ya on the beach. Peace all,
Posted by: gloria at September 13, 2006 04:40 PM
Dave, when did you start looking like the artist formerly known as Prince (whatever the heck he's called now, who knows...) - I think you need a haircut also! Love anyway, Teresa
Posted by: Teresa at September 13, 2006 04:42 PM
I opened up your website at 4:20pm California time and I had no idea that the winner would have already been announced - the very first comment ruined the surprise for me...I could hardly wait to get back home watch it on TiVO tonight, now not only do I know what happened but my least favorite performer won - least favorite of the bottom 6...I would have bought tour tickets if it had been any of the other 5. Of course I have the dilemma of having to miss TPC & that fantastic house band; however, I am sure their play time will not be that long since Supernova is the headliner. You did a great job on the show, Dave, I really enjoyed every minute of it. Do you know what really makes me crazy? Is that Janet Charlton will be able to say she was right all along and that they had chosen the winner a long time ago.
Posted by: Leslie Sjolund at September 13, 2006 04:43 PM
DAVE!!!! I'm going to miss seeing you twice a week! You are so entertaining and well-spoken!
I am ecstatic that LUKAS won!!!!! I have been a fan since day 1! Each rocker has special talent but FOR ME, he has that something extra.
I understand that each person has their own taste in music but DAMN! Why does there have to be such negativity and downright hate? Is this how these people act in real life?! I hope not!
PEACE! Lovin' the new TPC cd!
Posted by: Sandy at September 13, 2006 04:43 PM
FELLOW PUPPETS... please don't be so upset. Life goes on, for those of us lucky enough to have made it through the day without getting shot (that sucks, prayers to those involved in Montreal)...
YES, it was a done deal a long time ago and the show was built around Lukas... anybody ever heard of ZACK WERNER?
Yeah, the judge on that ultra lame Canadian Idol show... well, Zack is also a very connected music lawyer and runs his own record label among other things... Lukas and Cleavage have been under his wing since way back. (Zack co-produced my band's cd back in 1996, so I know him personally and professionally; not just blowing smoke up yer asses)
Is it SO bad that a bunch of very talented people were brought to our attention? HOW can this be such an emotional isssue for some people? It's Mark Burnett, damnit! Of COURSE he's going to give us a plate full of fake reality and pull our strings; it's part of the allure and, for ME, FUN...
Possibly rhetorical questions;
-the Supercoma cd will drop pretty quickly... don't you think it reasonable to assume that Lukas has been cutting tracks for some time now?
-Dilana came out of the gate unbelievably strong... doesn't that editing hatchet job look exactly like what it was? Yeah, she's a bit of a loose cannon, but they set her up and she dove in... unless (cue sinister orchestra) SHE WAS IN ON IT.
-Ryan rapidly gained support with the fans... oh fuck! Better give him an encore performance and a new vehicle! (we NEED those Ryan fans to spend their cash on Soup Or Nova's merch)
-Toby also picked up major impetus along the way... how many encores did he earn? Give him a car too and shut the fans up, get their dollars.
-Storm's class and popularity meant she had to get the tongue bath going away gift of the year, and also gets Dave to play guitar on her soon to be huge single. (no doubt BURNett is in for major points)
-Magni? He was great... what does HE get? Hmmm, no car... nothing but some cold comments from Schlongee Lee... maybe he gets more time with the killer House Band than anyone else?
-Janet Charlton MY ASS... just another carrion feeder... the writing was on the wall all along. Didn't the sudden appearance of Dilana's photo, prominently displayed on Schlongo's site, tip anyone off? The powers that be had to offset that leak about Lukas winning it... it's called damage control.
-the song Headspin... duh, how many times do you have to hear it to know that it will get a major make-over and push when Stoop And Blower releases their cd?
Oh, I could go on, but why bother? If you can't go with the game and enjoy the ride, that's your loss and I'm sorry you are pissed.
Lukas has enough going for him, just like the half dozen or so runners up, to have a shot at making a living in the shark infested waters of the music bizz.
Do all the Dave Navarro fans get pissed at him now, too?
sheeee - it.... I'm done. It's been a ride... I'll check back in when the poop mudslide subsides, in a few weeks.
Been nice meeting some of ya!
Peace, music, passion.

Didn't know this site was here until today. Makes me sad to see all the negativity about Lukas. It's a contest people...someone has to lose. Why be so mean to someone just because you don't like their music. Calling him names seems a bit pointless to me. No wonder there is so much crap in the world with mentality like that. I think all of the singers did a great job but I hope that Lukas did win. Can't wait to watch tonight and cant wait to get my tickets. Personally, I WOULD pay to watch Lukas sit and pick his nose. Love him. Thanks for the site Dave.
Posted by: jls at September 13, 2006 04:44 PM
Well I think the result was great. I was a Dilana fan at first but she soon lost her appeal . The rest were all great entertainers on a certain level and at different times but Lukas grew on me.
I find him fascinating and fun to watch..I even have downloaded much of his music and all the show videos as well. I even love the SN one, Shine On.
I am no where near a teeny bopper ( I am 54) and have very eclectic music tastes...from opera to jazz and have seen a alot of great acts in my time.....I like This guy and think he will do very well..
So my congrats to all for putting on a very enjoyable show this summer and also for ending up with the right choice...Lukas!!
....and by the way Brokeback mountain was a very good movie !!

Fuck you guys - where are your gonads?? You have all just gone down in a flaming heap in rock credibility. How could you put a total tosser like skunk boy up front.
Actually, Flaming Heap sounds like a good new name for the band.

Whoever posted how did Lukas win with the general public not liking him? What? I am sorry to tell you my general public (my circle) adores this young man. All ages, we love him. We are thrilled for him. Why did his youtube performances get so many honors? Go see for yourself. No wait. Don't! Find music you do like and then support it with your dollars. I will be first inline for even one CD of Lukas and the boys. Turn the dial, change the channel, just don't come here to Dave's place and act stupid. Go watch Idol and yell at Simon and Paula for a bit and give Dave a much needed break. We love you Lukas!!!!!!!!!!! Funky Passion and Great Hair

Hi Dave,
Hope your day went well!! Let me just tell you a little something that happened today on ROCKSTAR website. It seems that your "MOD" doesn't like when people speak the truth! I was a bad girl and I was BANNED. EWW don't you just want to spank me!! This is what I said, do you think it is BAD!!!
"Listen, How can you sit and talk about spoilers when the whole show was rigged in the first place.
I sit at home and watch, then vote for my favorite from my computer. What about the people that spend money texting their vote in for a show that is rigged.
Dave Navarro, I HAD a lot of respect for you and your show until TODAY!!! I completely agreed with ALL of YOUR comments regarding the performances only to find out that it was rigged. YES you are right in what you said in your blog at www.6767.com, that the band has the right to pick whomever they want HOWEVER, you should then not be charging people for voting. I spent Hours, upon hours, of time voting, of which I can never get back, believing that my vote really counted, only to be disappointed to find out that it didn't really matter at all!
The winner was in fact posted on the internet on Aug. 27th, so what have we been doing fo
