Magni all the way. In every performance he delievers. Storm was amazing she did great, best I've seen her. Jason summed it up for me with Ryan, it was difficult to hear the lyrics he was all over the place with clocks. Nice to hear on the clips a little more about Lucas, gorgeous smile. Toby cute yes, but did'nt go for the rebel yell, but delievered on Evanesence back-up as far as polish, etc. Dilana what can I say? You can see the ratings monsters knawing on the clips from last week to create more controversy this sells satisfys the greedmongers. If the subject was dropped why bring it up again? to apologize? to kiss-up? Children know you don't throw glass at the pool, so you have to use plastic tumblers with them, give me a break, was she going to jump out the window too? that had to be for dramatic effect, after-all it's a t.v. show. More drama here today, huh?

Anyway, great performances last night! As I was watching it, I was wondering what I could possibly say about each of them, since they were all so good in their own way. (My only critique is that Ryan was tryin' too hard... it felt forced.) Even Toby, who usually doesn't do much for me, rocked the house with "Rebel Yell".

Then Dilana came on, and I pretty much forgot everyone and everything else before her.

From the abridged version of the "Dilana drama" that they showed last night, the whole thing felt staged, as if they were baiting her, trying to get her to foul up... in this case, to talk smack to the journalists during the clinic. "Come on...give us names... You can tell us..." Most folks would cave in as she did.

Anyway, I'm glad it's all over... whatever. I won't be able to watch tonight, but I'm sure we'll get the scoop from you lovely people (if we haven't already)!

Why doesn't this show film live so idiots who attend the show can't come back and post the results - without warning - hours before the show airs? That is one thing American Idol has over this show, the whole live feeling adds so much more to the experience.

SO, why was Storm the only one to have a song that "isn't quite right for her voice" as her wildcard? Storm: Mature, strong and one helluva vocal range. Maybe meant for something other than Super Nova...Toby and Storm, maybe. Can tear you heart in half with that voice.

Ryan: As the house band said, "A bit of a micro manager. Will he be telling Gilby, Tommy and Jason how he wants it done? Anal retentive is anal retentive. Does NOT appear comfortable in his skin running around the stage and hopping on and off the piano.

Toby: Rocker, powerful presence as well but a bit shy. Hides this with booze. He'll work but not with Super Nova...perhaps.

Yes, Gilby was pretty full of himself based on his treatment of Storm. His performance wasn't anything memorable to me...Most annoying was the utter obvious arrogance of Jason Newsted with his turning around and glaring at the crowd who booed him when he talked about him losing the plot when Ryan comes out from the piano. It's quite humorous because he seems to think he's so enlightened, yet one truly enlightened wouldn't be all caught up in their own intelligence. He's always so "pleased" when Lukas uses his voice "properly"...gag. I wish he'd get over himself. I just have a hard time imagining THEIR chemistry together working! Tommy seems so much more grounded than the 2 of them.

This is good smokescreen, IMO. Dave Navarro wants to boink Lukas so bad he can TASTE it! Lukas is VERY GOOD, and Dave's majorly attracted to him. He's told him his performances were great when they weren't a COUPLE times (that was just MHO). I know that sounds crude, but Lukas is gonna get picked so that Dave Navarro can bring him into 'the fold' and have his way with him. Ten bucks says so.

My book of personal observations:

Magni, total perfessional but may not be the right time for him...family obligations...he has consistently been there for the other rockers in the mansion as has Toby.

Dilana: Wow. vocal range limited to lower register...perhaps the weakest voice of the remaining six. Emotionally shot, at least for the moment... If you want to see a band go south, make her the front woman and watch the havoc she creates because "she's human!" And...when it doesn't gel, she'll be replaced by a male front man and Super Nova will catch all kinds of s__t from their female fans. A pity she is thirty -four and still really imature. Needs counselor to travel with her on tour if she's the front man/woman!

Lukas, Mesmerising, a true performer, difficult to look away when he sings. Good to great range, but must take care of his instrument or Super Nova will be cancelling concerts with him as lead singer. Young, naive, and extremely ambitious. He's a true competitor but what will he do if he wins ??? Can he handle sucess? I fear for him...he could become careless and self destruct. My pick for the band, but he may just need a baby sitter and a member of AA with him on tour. These guys have been dragged through this crap before, I doubt they want it again.

Did you get this much heat last season with INXS? I agree with you about Dilana, love or hate her, that girl ROCKS. You are right that its going to get ugly tonight after the show airs. I am hoping you can shed some light on why Supernova decided to go in that direction. Maybe that person wasn't going to win but they are better than 6th place! Its going to be such a shame to miss that performance next week.

It probably is, but what if the band felt that person while strong has some aspects which really mean s(he) will not be suitable in the long run?

Rather sort them out NOW and give the others a chance to grow than keep that person til the end.

For that reason I wondered why Zaira was so long in the game. She is ... special. She def. has something, but from the first time I saw her she was too much spanish type and did not change that. Not working. Get them out soon and give others a chance.

If the spoiler's right, I think Ryan going is a great choice. He is so very much NOT the guy for the job. He's got less rock in him than anyone else left. Sure, he's got that coldplay thing down (if you like coldpaly, personally i don't care for 'em), but that's not SUPERNOVA.

First and foremost whomever they pick has to have the rock in 'em. I wasn't sure about Toby at first, but he's shown he can rock; Dilana and Lukas and Magni are rockers all the way and in a hard three-way race, and while I think Storm's goofy, there's no question she's a rocker. Ryan is the sore thumb. Love him if you want, but to quote the first season, he's "Not right for our band".

I agree with the above comments on Cleavage and Rise Electric. I found those while researching more on Lukas.

I really love Bored and Gorgeous by Cleavage. And that line in Greatest Day, "When did I ever say I'd fall in love you?" It gives me chills, he is an amazing song writer. I had no idea untill I started listening to these songs. Its cool how he can come up with this stuff.

To whoever asked where to find these songs, I found them all on limewire, you can find them easily there.

As for the voting, I watched Supernova at 8, but couldn't vote untill 9. But I got in 240 some votes, so I'm okay. You just have to wait maybe an hour. Time zones are different.

Yeah, you said it DarkEves. Though Cleavage is really good, I think I like them better than Rise Electric. Cleavage was voted Canada's best unsigned band or something like that.

Wow. I've read the spoilers here and elsewhere wondering how the show dealt with last night's voting fiasco. I am really shocked to learn that they chose to ignore it. Especially since it affected the first 1 1/2 hours of voting time for people in the East and Central US which is where most of the US population is and where Ryan and Dilana would also likely get the most votes. Not to mention the fact that most people work and could not stay up waiting for MSN (this is ultimately a CBS problem) to get their act together. Only about 3% of my votes went through and same for everyone else I know that voted. Sadly, the fact that they chose not to own up to this speaks volumes about the show's credibility and that of everyone involved with it.

i dont knwo if you will read this as seeing you have so many comments and posts already but i attend Quinnipiac University in conneticut and am i huge fan of the Panic Channel. i saw you guys with my girlfriend at the Avalon because i on in Long Island. the show was amazing and you guys are my favorite band ever. i mean i will always love Nirvana but you guys have surpassed them in my opinion because i can never see them live and you guys interacted with me i mean i caught Steve's pick that he threw out into the audience and shook your hand an that was a dream come true as you are the reason i play guitar.

Just a thought to the people bitching about the voting glitch last night. Don't you guys think the glitch affected all contestents more or less equally? People wanting to vote for ALL SIX ROCKERS were unable to do so. I think the net effect is likely negligible. And at the end of the day, Supernova is going to eliminate who they want anyway.

Wow, I went to the taping and all I was going to say is, that all of you who love Lukas as much as I do, will be pleasantly surprised. Lukas did go out of his way to interact with his fans, he even went up into the balconies.

I met this sweet young lady at the taping today. I won't mention her name, because I don't know if she would want me to disclose it. She is a fan of Lukas' too. She comes here, but I don't think she posts. It was cool, because she knew that I was the one that gave Lukas the ring. She told me that he showed it and said it was from a fan in week 8's fashion video. I guess I missed it, so I just watched it. I was wondering if anyone knows if, or how, I could download the video so I can save it?

Dave you were such a doll today, signing autographs left and right while the other guys were just sitting there. Everytime I think I'm over you I see that handsome face, and I'm a goner. I posted here a while back saying how much i hated shows like Rockstar,i wasn't singling out RS,but it was a general feeling by me towards all reality based talent finding shows......well,i have to apologies,i LOVE Rockstar Supernova,i've been sucked in and i love it,i have really enjoyed seeing the growth of the contestants who have shown growth,that has been my favourite aspect of it.
I really feel like all the people who are in it at these final stages could go on to some form of success if they use the whole experience as one big clinic session.
Its a shame to see any of these last people get cut,BUT,as has been the case with other shows,its not always the winner who ends up with the most success.
I wish them ALL luck,i don't care who wins,i don't even care if Supernova are gonna be any good,the show has entertained me 100%.

Voting was FUBAR last night. Putting your trust in MSN and Microsoft is as bad as hiring Don King as a manager. Show is tainted going forward.

Dave sweet one, I also loved Dilana's performance last night - she kicked all kind of ass! She was Rock Goddess / Daemoness. Delicious.

However, from reading the various RSS boards your comment about her performance being best in both seasons seems to have pissed people off... AT HER!!

I think the producers wildly miscalculated how the drama from the "reality" vids would play out. Last year JD was villian light - some naughty fun. And he'd had enough rough performances and negative notes to garner some sympathy for balance. But this year they made Dilana look viscious. First no negative notes (she's teachers pet), then the reality stuff (she's a horrendous bitch), then the breakdown (she's unstable). I doubt they can dig her out of this hole they created. And if they can't fix the damage it frankly fucks Supernova from using her. Which is wrong/unfair on every level. Unfair to Dilana. Unfair to Supernova - if they use her their sales will not be what they could have been because of what the producers did in their quest for ratings. I gather Jason called "bullshit" on how the show presented Dilana, but no one except the peiple at the taping know that. That's a shame, it might have made a difference.

Sorry for the long post, but it's a sad situation to see an artists life shredded this way.

What do you think about Dave being in the movies?

I don't think it will hurt Supernova's potential sales if they pick Dilana,there are plenty of people fronting massively successful bands who are not too popular in public opinion away from their bands,and they still sell millions of albums.
I personally hope they don't pick her,becuase i would like it to go to someone less-likely to win,make it more interesting how they will gel together with the rest of SN,i can see Dilana fronting them,but it would be too predictable a sound,it wouldn't hold any interest for me.
I'd like to see Lukas in there,If the spoiler is correct then Lukas is the only one for me that hold an air of un-predictability about him in terms of his arrangment of the songs.
The others are all really great singers and they are owning the stage,but for me they are all too predictable.
Lukas will be able to hold his own on stage with those guys.

Why do I say that? Not because of your band, but because of your heart. I read your bio at Wikipedia and it broke my heart. I am sure I saw your mom on "Let's Make A Deal", I always watched that show. You took the bull by the horns and helped solve her murder. It doesn't take away the pain, but I am sure you can sleep better at night.

I was really surprised that RS:SN just ignored the whole voting problem last night. I really think that things would have been different tonight, had the voting worked properly. That being said, I expected Ryan to go home tonight- it was just his time. I prefer his personal style when he is not trying to scream his guts out for Supernova, anyway.

Dave would love to hear your thoughts on the elemination show.. what was up? the whole show was dark in mood with all the rockers and ALL the elimination songs were bad even Dilana's which was so out of char... Strange...

SN-WTF- okay so we see a little more direction that SN is taking. I saw during Ryan's performance that the SN guys didn't seem happy. They all just sat back and didn't even appear to like him. Wow. That was all a shocker to me.

Great site. The bottom 3 performances were bad, bad, bad, and bad. What was with the mood at the taping? NOBODY looked happy to be there. I know it elimnation show but it come across bad on tv. The was a bad vibe in that place. SN looked pissed.

Being a Who fan, that was by far the worst rendition of Baba O'Riley that I've ever heard! Thank god I'll be seeing The Who in a couple of weeks in Baltimore to get that version out of my head!

Can I just say that Lukas was AMAZING on the SN song. His vocals were killer. I was totally blown away. He just amazes me week after week. He fit like an old glove. I agree with what he said in his blog. The SN tracks are getting better.

Very disappointed that the voting fiasco wasn't even mentioned on the show. OK, so you had the highest number of votes for 2 seasons. But there were still a lot of votes lost because of it. It should have been mentioned. Over an hour of lost votes. The east coast being hit the hardest.

I thought your eyebrow raise to the camera when you said "the fans have spoken" was intriguing.

Dilana lost her stride. I think she was rattled by being in the bottom 3. Ryan and Storm seemed charged up about it, while Dilana looked unglued. Her performance was odd. She turned her back on the audience quite a bit.

Wow. Its amazing. I went from watching one of the best shows of the season last night to one of the worst. Dave, loved the comment to Magni about how you lied and you have control!!! that was the best moment of the night. Toby rocked it. Lukas with Supernova didn't. Dilana Didn't. Ryan Didn't. Storm, well, I don't know, I'm on the fence on if I liked it or not. I was honestly thinking tripple elimination. I also am a fan and I will try to keep track of the person(s) eliminated. All I have to say is Ryan Star is going to sell more, do more, and gain more fuel for just being on that show. Anywhoo.. someone said here that they send kids home from school in Iceland so they could vote for Magni.. I have no clue how that would work since the show is broadcasted at 1am in the morning up there (I live in the States thank God) and the voting starts at 2am. At least when I was younger I was always home from school around 3pm, lol! BUT there was a big campain for him back home I know... at least I got tonns of emails reminding me to vote and the phonecompany that handles the voitings up there (with text messages) lowerd the charges from $1.50 per message to 25cents per message and I think that helped. I just know that I'm friggin proud to be Icelandic right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave, well finally tonight I liked a Supernova song, but maybe it was the delivery. I think Lukas did an amazing job. I think he really fit, it did not sound at all dated like the previous songs, great performance. Kudos to Lukas and Supernova! He's definitely right, definitely! Can't wait to hear more. I know it's right when it stays in my mind and I can recall it at will. This one I can. Really interesting vocals, great mixup, lots and lots of energy in the delivery.

Its getting hard to watch. Although I am a die hard Lukas fan, this group of 6 are extremely talented and I've really grown to like them all.

Just got done watching the elimination show. I can't believe that Dilana was in the bottom three. I think it was a punishment-- now can we move on??? Ryan was not right for the band. His antics had to go. It was bordering on comical and I was a little embarrassed for him. He looked silly and it seemend forced. I will admit that Lukas was good last night (not on the Supernova track), but he is still freaky. Dilana still deserves to win-- hands down.

I love the way you let Magni have it on the elimination show! Don't get me wrong, I like Magni (not as a singer for Supernova, but he is a good singer), but wasn't real big on the pity party he had going on the night before. I feel the only reason he wasn't in the bottom 3 is because he was beggin' for votes. That was pretty lame!

Dilana definately got a blow to her ego tonight. I think she is great, but her head was getting too big and it was showing, she got knocked back down to reality and hopefully she can prevail from here and take it all the way! I agree that she gave the best show ever. I think she always does. She is definately a performer who could draw a crowd!

I thought Lukas' performance with SN was lacking. I can't put my finger on what exactly, but it just didn't do anything for me. It was like a meal missing some spices.

Voted my tail off last night.. gee this show has a way of making one feel young. As for glitches...did start late but if one doesn't refresh their vote page, nor clear their cache you can vote all night.

Ha... 5 mins to air time I secured my tickets to Supernova : Vancouver. Row 8, just right of centre, Queen Eliz. Lukas You are the man!! Was that song not tailor made for him or what?!! I'm so thrilled they let him open up and reach for the sky with his vocals. Friggin' beautiful and funky performance!

Probably a good call sending Ryan home - he is talented but I found his performances a little too contrived. I'm currently flip-flopping betwen Dilana and Lukas. I thought Lukas really seemed like part of the band tonight whereas Dilana is so large she made them seem like her backing musicians. If there is another Rockstar type series planned I personally would like to see more bands showcased rather than this extended marketing campaign for Superover but hey, that's just my opinion. After last night and tonight, Dilana deserved to go home. Nobody even booed when her name was called...they applauded! The audience booed for the others being in the bottom 3! She was mediocre last night, and tonight she just plain old sucked. She does that weird running in place thing that apparently is supposed to be dancing. Looks more like a scene from Flashdance while Maniac was playing, decades ago. Ryan gave two kick ass performances and got sent home. Unbelievable. Someone on another board said something that cracked me up about SN needing to get their heads out of Dilana's glittery hoohah and look at the other performances for a change. I have to agree. Ugh.

I'm glad that Magni got some recognition, Toby rocked and Lukas was incredible with SN. Dilana was the weak spot in the show again for me. The others really kicked ass.

No wonder they didn't give Ryan the encore on his original. Then with all the Dilana thing going on between them, they just had to cut him.

Storm should have gone. She is no fit for Supernova. Granted, Ryan wasn't his best tonight, but his original song is one of the highlights of the season. I think he was losing a little of himself trying to fit into what he thought Supernova wanted. He really is a multi-talented performer and the antics became a distraction. Still, to me, he was always interesting and the show is less without him.

That was the first song that i actually felt something from SN. I could have that on my Ipod player. Lukas is the Man!! Dilana is just caving big time. She reminded me of Z there for a sec. I mean comon what was up with psycho killer, nothing original, forgot lyrics and looked perplexed and fell back on her crazy witch bitch thing. Weak!!! I was surprised to see Dilana in the bottom 3 given the huge fanbase she has. Did she even practice that song? That was one of the worst performances ever. She pogoed all over the stage and her vocal delivery was way off on that. She could have done a killer job on that song, I was excited to hear she would be doing it but OMG that was really bad. Not one smile or interested look from the Supernova guys either while she sang, in fact they looked perplexed and bored.

I am sad that The Dark Horse has left the stage. He has shown the most change out of all of the contenders. I was a little afraid that he was going to hurt himself or one of the The House Band members with his mic cable and acrobatics. His parting words had some edge and were imbued with self-dignity. You gotta respect that. Toby, Storm, and Lukas were solid. Dilana totally botched it.

Tommy Lee seems as if he has a good heart, and he genuinely appears to have a difficult time sending people home.

YES! My favorite, Magni, got the most votes, and Toby didn´t end up in B3. What a lovely day.

I´ve friends in Iceland who told me that the show is aired over there at 1 AM. Many are watching and voting after midnight. But, it´s just bulls..t that kids were allowed to skip school the morning after so they could stay awake all night and vote. The population in Iceland is only 300.000. Clearly, Magni is getting votes from all over the world.
