Dave, are those live or taped? Just wondering if we'll get to hear them.

For a minute there I thought you were talking about our WHY CRY discussion on your last blog. ThANKX for the updates! Will be interesting interviews!
Posted by: Danni at June 12, 2006 11:33 AM
BIG bottle of water, my friend.
Posted by: Junebug at June 12, 2006 12:22 PM
Holy shit! that's a lot of repeating yourself and smiling while thinking "Shut the fuck up you dumb fucker." hahaha...those are the things I would have the biggest problems with...people asking mindless, boring questions over and over again all day long. Its no wonder so many celebs do drugs.
Anyways...I guess the trade off is mucho publicity for RS. Being an Ex Prod this time around you'll probably have to be involved in a lot more of this kinda stuff, no?
Wish I didn't have a job right now. I'd drive my happy ass down to LA for the video shoot on Friday. Its only 6 1/2 hrs away, so close, yet so far...anyone know if there are still tix available for the show Sat night?
Hope everyones having a good monday.
Love, Amber :)

any chance some of these will be podcasts? Some of us are too cheap to pay for radio ;-)
Posted by: Peebs at June 12, 2006 12:32 PM
Wow. You're not kidding. I can only imagine how tedious that could get.
My advice: Drink LOTS of coffee and pretend it's an extended SRL broadcast. Goof around, have fun with it as you're spreading the word about TPC.
Good luck!
Posted by: Denise at June 12, 2006 12:34 PM
Duh... I meant RS. But I'm sure you'll squeeze in some TPC as well. :)
Posted by: Denise at June 12, 2006 12:35 PM
Wow....I can see how that would get irritating. It's like speed dating...kinda ( :
Posted by: blacklace at June 12, 2006 01:10 PM
HA HA HA.........You should just record yourself saying "yes" and "no" and tell them you'll only answer yes/no questions. Save your voice anyway! :o)
Posted by: Dawn at June 12, 2006 01:41 PM
You're a gemini, Dave, you can handle all the yapping!
Is that when they air or when you do the interview? If it's when you interview, will you know when they air?
Posted by: Jenn at June 12, 2006 02:47 PM
Wow, Dave ...
Are your vocal chords completely blown after all that yappin'?
I have made myself available for the video shoot Friday. Let's hope The-Powers-That-Be 'approve' of my hip/fangirly look ;-)
[O.k., don't know how *hip* I am, but given the right motivation, I can behave very fangirly!!!]
Luv to all ThePanicPeoples

Good Luck Jenn:) As I said, it's SO COOL that REAL people are going to be in their video!
Posted by: Danni at June 12, 2006 03:38 PM
this is all today?!
Damn, son!
That's at least 18 different people to talk to.
well, 4 hours of radio actually could be worse... it could be 10 hours...
You can do it D-dogg, you're a pro on the radio.
Posted by: mortisha at June 12, 2006 03:43 PM
haha! We miss your "yapping", especially on Sat. from 6-8! :( peace. my home comp. is gone-long story. have a good week every 1.
Posted by: Carly at June 12, 2006 04:41 PM
Yep, that's a lot of yapping alright. I was listening in Detroit. I bet you are talked out!
Posted by: Jenn at June 12, 2006 05:18 PM
ps-this is from my cell-it's really not that long-my roomie moved and when I split from AZ 2 Cali 2 escape the D.V.,I left my Mac behind.Even tho it was a gift.
Posted by: Carly at June 12, 2006 05:35 PM
hell, yeah! yee-hah!
somebody actually located PROVIDENCE on a
map! hey, dave--something tall and cool for your
parched vocal cords!! and a hug from us ol'ladies!
Posted by: mariem at June 12, 2006 05:45 PM
Dave,
When will you be choosing the next SRL Vixen? My sister wants to submit her photos to you. And yes, she is much more attractive than me.
Later,
Mike from NYC

Clearly it would have been much simpler to hold up a sign saying,
"Can't speak. Saving vocals for the Dragonfly, in case I feel compelled to sing backup, or not. Please direct all questions to Steve."
Then Steve could hold up the same sign and instruct them to direct the questions to you.
It would have shortened the torture to about five minutes.
Spreading the love,
Deena

LOL Deena!!! What a great idea.
Thanx for the well-wishes Danni ;)

huh..you picked up milwaukee but not MPLS...weird but then the stations around here suck mostly. the video sounds like fun. good luck with it! what a great way to involve the fans! you guys all rock on that part.
Posted by: MARY at June 12, 2006 08:30 PM
Dave at least this time you're happy you are getting so much press time.
As for the ladies who think that all fans who e-mail them will get in the video, I rather doubt that. I was the first to post after Dave posted that casting call, and I sent an e-mail for the hell of it. I probably shouldn't have mentioned my age (over 50), but not all his fans are big busted and beautiful. Most of the fans I saw at the Canes concert were ordinary looking people.
Dave, I feel so hurt. You never call, you never write and you don't send me flowers anymore! Hell, I would be lucky if you ever answered any of my damn questions! ha ha
I have to say, that even though I am not a vixen, you were very kind and signed my Trust No One CD. I was hanging with some guys, and they told me to just go up and talk to you. I said well I'm not young, big busted, and blonde. They told me that I was selling myself short and they gave me the courage to ask. Actually I am short, but I've never sold myself. Maybe I should try ebay!

Posted by: bv at June 12, 2006 09:20 PM
Okay bv you got my interest. What was on VH1 that I missed? I just turned in on and saw Johnny Dep, not bad, but I assume you were talking about Dave.
Posted by: Linda at June 12, 2006 10:28 PM
Okay, before I get any flack, it's Depp. SORRY JOHNNY! He does check out 6767 doesn't he?

Wow! Alot happened in the few days I've been "away". Bad week,, yo'. I'm so sad that I'm not close enough to LA to try for the video.....what fun that would be! But I'm happy to live in the great state of Texas, so maybe another time? Love ya Dave! Can't wait to watch you on RS and I will definately see you in the fall because I know you won't skip Houston :) BTW....Chili Peppers are NOT touring here! Can you believe anybody would miss the chance to see the Houston fans???!!! Much luv from Tejas.....moi!

The Drug Years Documentary - part 1. Was that on VH1 or VH1 Classics? I go to Rock on TV at VH1, and they didn't list Dave appearing on that show.
Posted by: Linda at June 13, 2006 08:57 AM
Naw, I dont think hes in it just a good show- :)
