Erotica~CFR~SRL~10
Good morning! Tonight from 6pm-8pm PST is an all new Camp Freddy Radio live from the Erotica LA event. I will be broadcasting with Matt Sorum and Jenna Jameson. We are going to be talking about the convention, porn, music and anything else we can get away with.
Over at HollywoodMusicTV there is a great interview with KHZ that was filmed at The Spread Radio Live Event at the Dragonfly last week. The piece includes live footage of the band and a few word from yours truly.
1. At the Asylum there has been a question regarding how much you weigh.
I hover around 150 give or take a few.
2. What happened with the drawing for the guitar? No one I was with at the show saw the entry forms.
The forms were at the merch booth. I looked into this and all the forms are with our gear. As soon as we fire up our rehearsals on Monday we can get to them and draw the winner. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten!
3. Will you be jumping into the pool in Vegas and can I jump in, too?
Well, you are certainly welcome to, but personally, I am not a big fan of "outside" in Las Vegas. Once I enter a Vegas hotel, I acclimate to the AC and keep myself barricaded in that environment. I also don't really like knowing what time it is when I am there either.
4. Do you know who you guys will be touring with in the fall? What type of venues will you be performing in?
We don't know about other bands at the moment but I do know that we want to focus again on clubs and small theaters for our own shows. The people are such a huge part of our live show that when we play for 300 people, we feel that The Panic Channel consists on 304 members on that night.
5. We've got a huge list of stations over at the asylum and have been going thru them emailing the stations...does that help?
Absolutely that helps! Thank you! Radio really depends upon listener feedback to decide whether or not they want to support a band. Emails and call ins are always a great thing for the bands you wish to support!
6. What's the deal with Go On? Will it eventually be out on iTunes?
Go On will appear on the record at certain outlets as a bonus track. I'll let you know where as soon as I have that information.
7. Will you be releasing a video of the small venues you performed in? Did you tape any segments?
We do have a lot of video from the last tour which will eventually be available at The Panic Channel site.
8. A quick question for you, have you experimented much in alternate tunings?
A lot of Trust No One was recorded using different tunings.
9. My boyfriend loves your boots, the ones with the zipper in the inside. Who makes them?
Those are my trusty old Louis Vuitton boots. I think they must be at least 7 years old by now!
10. What are our chances of seeing TPC in the UK this year?
I would say... Strong to very strong!

aww hey I think that girl that did the HollywoodMusicTV interview is the tiny blonde I saw walking around at the Dragonfly and thought "look she's small like me!"
You like to stay in with the a/c?! And I thought Mr. Erotica LA liked the heat ;o)
But yeah, it's going to be an oven out there and I can see why you'd stay in.
If it's a chance for me to swim I don't think I'll pass it up!
Have a good weekend peoples

Hello, Dave!
Glad to see the top ten back again. So Dave, are you going to have any downtime before Rockstar Supernova? Any plans you can share with us?
Always,
me

Yep - having trouble in the asylum - and not for them wanting to keep me. Can't get in ... hopefully soon!

I, too, am missing the asylum this evening. Hope it will be back up soon. We need our asylum! I mean, you can't let us just roam the streets at night! ;)

Do u have future plans to play in any latinamerican country?
Posted by: Marivic at June 24, 2006 09:49 PM
i know, soon we will have to start amusing ourselves...could be dangerous. what do you say fellow inmates, how about some tag in the streets??
Posted by: MoonRider613 aka heather at June 24, 2006 09:53 PM
OMG, YOU LIKE ME, YOU REALLY LIKE ME! (Remember Sally Field at the Oscars?) Anyway, I am shocked and totally grateful that you answered one of my questions! I hope it will be small venues, I loved seeing you at Canes and getting a chance to meet you. That would never happen at a sports arena or an amphitheater.
I can't help mentioning this, seeing you brought up the topic of porn stars. My son has a friend who is an ULTIMATE FIGHTER AND A PORN STAR. He has been staying with my son since his wife moved out. My son was telling me that Aaron has been bringing over some of his co-stars and the ladies walk around naked all the time. Sounds like every man's dream, but I'm glad my son isn't into that! At least that's what he tells me!

A BIG YAY for clubs! So glad that you like small venues.

Yeppers, The Asylum is still having a database problem. Maybe I'll go harass Rush Limbaugh until it's fixed. {{snicker}}
Posted by: LostBoy at June 24, 2006 11:29 PM
We are working on the Asylum issue. Thanks
Posted by: Loop at June 25, 2006 12:01 AM
Hey LostBoy, leave pillhead pop'n freak alone & hang here~ It's cool. R you 'n the US? peace~
Posted by: Carly at June 25, 2006 12:22 AM
Well Carly, how about I chastise Bill O'Reilly for his wanton falafel abuse? I'm so bored...
Posted by: LostBoy at June 25, 2006 02:22 AM
I COULD'VE been there, but work got in the way. I would have only gone to see yours truly anyway, and perhaps a few of those lovely ladies.

Saying that you will play clubs again just made my freakin day!!!
Posted by: blacklace at June 25, 2006 05:13 AM
Is it Fall yet?
Does anyone else find it odd that the inmates are standing outside the Asylum doors waiting to get in? I am running out of things to amuse myself with, I might end up having to do something ((gasp)) productive.

Asylum has been fixed.
Posted by: Loop at June 25, 2006 06:48 AM
Thank you Dr. Loop for your tireless administrative services. All patients are hereby notified that because it's Sunday, visitation is from 2-4. Please continue to mull about the grounds but as always stay back from the fence at least 15 feet. Tonight's entertainment viewing in the common area will be a classic from 1977, Smokey and the Bandit, starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, and songwriter Paul Williams as Little Enos Burdette.

Ya know, I just watched this interview: http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=e8f86292-3ec8-49c7-8f55-794ddf8c3a60&f=&fg=copy
I don't think I've ever seen you so radiant as you've been over the last few months. There's such fullfillment on your face that you glow. You look 10 years younger. It's so clearly apparent just how incredibly passionate you feel about all that you're doing now: TPC, SRL, CFR, RS... and it's really exciting getting to watch it all explode.
It's hard to believe it's just the beginning...
Spreading the love,
Deena
