Concertdude, I was at Canes too! I had my 6767 sign, where were you? You guys were f-----g amazing. Dave you are drop dead gorgeous! Thank you for signing my CD, even though I was only able to give you half of it, at least I was able to give you the half with your gorgeous face! Thanks goes out to Stephen for signing his drumstick for me. That sounds kinda nasty huh? I was the rehead with the 1313 clown sweatshirt. I told him to tell you about it Dave, because I was so excited to meet you that I forgot to show you my shirt!
I did some PR work for you Dave. People were asking me what my sign said, and I told them about your website.
Thank you Tim for jumping my car for me! I was so excited when I got there, and I forgot to turn my headlights off! I hope you are checking out the website. Tim makes amazing jewelry, he was so excited that Dave wore the necklace he gave him.
To Gonzo and Patrick(I think your name was Patrick), but I will always remember you as BONO, I hope you guys are checking out Dave's website! Thanks fo hanging with me. Thanks Gonzo for the guitar pick.
I am so pumped up, I don't know how I made it home my head was spinning. I haven't been able to hear you guys music, and I loved it. I was able to watch you guys warm up. I don't think you could ever sound bad! Believe me you won't be disappointed when you hear The Panic Channel rock your world!

First off, thanks to MCEIII for the tix, I was able to give one of them away at the door. Thanks to Brett for finding me and for the hug, and, as always, thanks to the "Girls" for the warm welcome
Now, Dave...I have a confession to make, I had never really paid much attention to your guitar playing at your shows before, that face and body of yours was always distracting me...but last night....I was actually rendered SPEECHLESS!!
The intros, the solos, the wah wahs, whatever the tech name for all of that is...it was simply mesmerizing...oh, and that Perk can sure hit that shit!!!
Thank you, you made getting up at 4, working a 12 hour day, and then driving 4 hours actually make sense!!
and I'm hoping one of the lovelies took a pic of the Panic Circle outside the venue!!
Like I told Mouse, I am, first and foremost, always and forever, a Dave whore....
jezzi(I can't quit you, Dave!!)

Come on, guys! throw us a bone, what was the setlist at least?!
Posted by: sue at May 17, 2006 06:59 AM
Aww!! You guys mentioned people from the board!! You guys fucking rock! Period.
Posted by: Jenn at May 17, 2006 07:00 AM
Jezebel, It's Linda. Where were you standing last night? I wish we had met, I didn't know you were there! I got some pictures of the Panic Circle, some girls took a photo inside the circle with Dave. Were you in there? Did you draw the circle? Anyway I concur, Dave took my breath away too! Not only is he gorgeous, he is also a really nice guy.
Dave, thanks for being so patient with all of us! I feel like a teenage groupie, but unfortunately I'm far beyond my teenage years!
Posted by: Linda at May 17, 2006 07:34 AM
You totally rock even more for podcasting and giving more that 100% of what you got!!! If I have the dough I'll catch you guys live in NYC... I haven't seen you play in many years, seeing as it was once when you were in Jane's Addiction...
Posted by: Savvy at May 17, 2006 07:36 AM
Podcast sounded great I couldn't help notice the mild hum in the breakground...I'm think tour bus ventilation or ac something like that.
So cool for you guys to mention some of us here at the board and to interact with us!!!
Dying to know how the show went and can't wait to see on the 6th.
Kisses

Great Podcast Dave...Thanks for the access. Congrats on what sounded like a great opening night. Very jealous of all of you who are able to be close enought ot get to see TPC. However, I did have a pretty go consilation prize last night and got to see Alice in Chains on their opening night in Seattle. They did a surprise FREE show for the hometown fans. I posted this review of the sow over on Billy Morrison site as wel, but thought that maybe some of you might have tickets to see them tomorrow at the Roxy so I would add it here as well...
Whew...back and how awesome was that. Alice in Chains took the stage a bit before 9 being introduced by Layne Stayley's two dads (biological and step) and rocked through a 16 song set that saw guest appearances from Kim Thayil of Soundgarden, Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche, Ann Wilson of Heart and of course our good Camp Freddy Friend Duff. William Duvall was spot on with the vocals. Really amazing. I had seen him on the Heart special on VH1 but one song there didn't show how well he can sing the Alice in Chains catalog. Those of you that are planning on catching them at the Roxy later this week are in for a treat. Dave you will have to have Jerry get you the video of the show so you can check it out (they had several cameras rolling) well, back to your regular scheduled Panic Channel programming...thanks for allowing me to share.

Dave, Steve, Perk and Channey you guys were amazing last night. Thank you so much for sonically flooring me with your music and your hospitality. I had a blast talking to guys all night and hope you guys made it to the radio interview on time today. Also a big thanks to Rain, Royce, Jezebel, Theresa, Abby, Wendybird and Maria. It was fun hanging out.

Dave, I just wanted to say what a success story you are. Coming out of the depths of hell, as you described in your book, to moving forward with your creative genius. You give hope and inspiration to all alcoholics and addicts who think they can't make it back. I am so grateful you made it back. Someone I love dearly did not! How amazing it is that finding your website and feeling close to you and the 6767 family, has given me so much comfort and joy!
Posted by: Linda at May 17, 2006 02:44 PM
FUCK!! You guys are getting me so excited about the San Francisco show!! I can't wait to FINALLY see them live. This will be my very first Panic experience! :D Glad you all had so much fun. Thanks for sharing the great photos wendybird!!

Linda, I was on Dave's side of the stage (not that I was playing favorites, Dave..wink wink). I have redhair, glasses, and was looking completely teacher-y, complete with sensible shoes,a skirt, and an oversized purse..haha....I was kinda hoping I'd run into you, I confess, I left before the show was over, so didn't get to see the boys...but Dave, did you hear me screaming, you're so DREAMY!!! ahahh
I am so stoked that the 6767 family got a chance for some exclusive footage, and props...like I always say, Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold
love,
jezzi(I'm your gold friend!!)
Posted by: jezebel at May 17, 2006 02:57 PM
Jezebel, I was also on Dave's side of the stage, but two rows back. I was holding a manila envelope with 6767 on it. I also have red hair, some people tell me I look like Reba. I was wearing a sweatshirt I made with 1313 on it. I had two photos of Dave on either side, and two clowns underneath, I just had to be funny. You know, Dave wanting to take a photo with the clown picture. I was so excited that I forgot to show Dave, but I did get a chance to show Steve.
I am bummed that I didn't get a chance to meet you. You have been so kind to me. I think it would be great to have a 6767 get together so we can meet each other. Of course hopefully, Dave would honor us with his presence!
I did get to hear the podcast, thanks Dave. It's like we really get to know you. Damn, I sound like a valley girl!
