(ONe)

"An inevitable question arises when considering the album's title: what precisely is "(ONe)"? Is it a typo? Leetspeek? All of the above, none of the above? (ONe) signifies many things. (ONe) = one, as in the first record, 1. (ONe) = on as in the channel is on. There is nothing more than ONE, spiritually speaking. And the parentheses? They hold everything together. And in this age of panic, that's critical."

Spread Radio Live is pleased to bring you our newest Vixen of the Month, Isobel. Head on over to Spread Radio Live to meet her!

WOW, that sounded freakin awesome! I love Camp Freddy. You all are looking very healthy these days. Duff and Scott were there? Where was Mr. Slash?

Posted by: Jilly at April 19, 2006 09:18 AM

Hi Dave, that was great. Scott & Deez Leitch sang very well together.

Have you thought of maybe putting up a SBD recording of a random Camp Freddy show? That would be cool!

btw, if anyone is going to see TPC in Dallas on 5/19, you can buy tickets right now via the Gypsy Tea Room website. I've got two on the way to me now. Looking forward to it!

As for the (ONe) the concept is killer..it's just that not too long ago the exact same logo was used for a company that put on Raves..and they said the same thing..but it also stood for ON e..ectasy..so there's another one for ya

Posted by: phreeksho at April 19, 2006 01:24 PM

Just bought 3 tickets for the Houston show.
Would be nice to see ya in Austin - but - hey - it's only a 3 hour drive. Gonna be sweet !!
Thanx !

I thought you mentioned the record was coming out in May. . .why does it say Fall? Did I miss something?

Posted by: dead scorpy at April 19, 2006 02:16 PM

(ONe)of these days I must see Weiland/Navarro live. Scott looked SO strong, so healthy, sounded incredible-really makes me feel good to see him doing so well. Dave, you simply rocked the hell out of the place, as did Matt, Billy, Duff-excellent job people!

Amber, what's up girl are you down for the independent nothing like a nite down in the hood on Divis...Damn old school stomping grounds...we used to go there when it was called the kennel club for hip hop on sunday nights & somehow we always ended up smoking DANK (not dick) with too short!!! Definately some good times.

Posted by: Chrissy at April 19, 2006 04:35 PM

Nice name One, except I'm a lot older than you are, so that song "ONE IS THE LONELIEST NUMBER THAT YOU'LL EVER DO" keeps playing in my head! Ha, Ha! Did Jack Bauer have anything to do with that concept?

Can't wait to see you guys, I hope you're still coming to San Diego.

Dave, you are always rumored to fill the shoes of some famous guitar players in great bands... Frusciante in the Peppers, Mick Mars in Motley Crue, James Iha in the Smashing Pumpkins... What's the goal...? Maybe Ronnie Wood in the Rolling Stones..?! Ha ha ha
Regards, Good luck...

Happy Birthday to the lovely Carmen Electra!

What an exciting week... Lots of good stuff going on. I enjoyed the CF clip and am looking forward to the next live TPC show.

I also appreciated seeing the list of recommended films and books (on the SRL site) from the other day. I would love to know exactly why those 3 particular books have made such an impression on you. (If you're ever bored on a Sunday in search of a question, there's one!) :)

Another question/theory... Are the parentheses in (ONe) actually a way of paying homage to Jezebel? C'mon... admit it... ;)

Peace,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOTTEST CARMEN...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

Would TPC do a live cover of that least requested (lol) encore song "Free Bird" if asked?

I'm just curious because every band gets that request?

Personally, I'd love to hear you cover "Whiter Shade of Pale", one of my fave songs ever...
