Updates Etc...
"Rocker Dave Navarro has confirmed his marriage to sexy actress Carmen Electra is in trouble, confessing the couple rarely gets to enjoy quality time together."
FYI: That was the journalist's interpretation, I neither confirmed or confessed any issues. I merely said that we both work a lot. Nothing more. If any of you heard SRL last night, Carmen, Gregg and I were having a blast. This is my official "once and for all" comment about it. Now, on to other matters.
LA auditions for Rockstar are on March 31st from 10am-4pm at the Knitting Factory. Other cities and dates can be found here. If you think you have the voice and the vibe, go on down and rock the f@#k out!
I'm excited to see what Supernova sounds like. Having Jason Newsted on board is for me, the really amazing part of this whole thing. Everyone knows Tommy and I are into doing other forms of media and entertainment, but Newsted? That's insane! At the end of the day, Tommy is one of rock's most amazing drummers and Newsted is such an incredible bass player. I personally can't wait to see what this rhythm section can bring. Gilby has played with everyone (GnR, Heart, etc.) and with the exception of Perk and Chaney, I can't think of a more solid canvass for him to texturize with his instrument. All I can say is... These contestants better be able to sing, son!
The Panic Channel: We are currently routing a three week, 16 date special limited club tour somewhere in May through June. Awwww hell yeah! More news on that as it comes in. I will post cities and dates as soon as I know.
Yesterday I accompanied Carmen to the Tyra Banks show. During Carmen's segment I ran out and did my best "Tom Cruise on Oprah" with Tyra... Couch jumping and all. Total jackass shit but it was funny as hell. I'll find out when it airs. While we were at CBS, we came upon... The Wheel! Yes, of course I spun it!

As long as the mini-tour encompasses Orlando, I am all for it.
Posted by: Scwhing at March 17, 2006 11:40 AM
Boy, I hope not. Yeah, I know you both have substantial commitments, but I see you and Carmen staying together. I hope you DO stay together.
You're not the only one who wants to see what Supernova sounds like.
About that wheel you spun .. did you get $1.00?
Peace out.

Thank you Dave for the update - it's good to see you posting again on a regular basis! Hey, those rumors/reporters....all give a twist OR their editors do. I have seen it first hand too many times...
We have Tyra on in the office every day, so can't wait to see you and Carmen.... Let's see how well you do with imitating Tom.
As for The Price is Right, do you visit there often? How is it going there?
Always,
me
Posted by: Angel at March 17, 2006 01:03 PM
I doubt you'll tour anywhere near me...but that would be awesome. I think it's time to move out of the cornfield.
Posted by: blacklace at March 17, 2006 01:11 PM
yes, last night's SRL was great,I personally love when Carmen's in the house, she brings out the goofy in you boys!
That was me with all the Bell's palsy info, I had it once, and I can assure you, your beautiful wife does not
and since everyone seems to be in the habit of posting ridiculous links lately, here's my contribution...

kansas city MO better be involved sometime
Posted by: cody at March 17, 2006 01:22 PM
Any chance one of those cities might be up here in the Pacific Northwest???
As for the Rockstar: Supernova deal...HOLY CRAP I can't wait. 3 Great Musicians, and I totally agree with you on two things..One, having Newsted a part of this is AMAZING, and two, who ever wins this comepetition, better have one kick ass set of pipes! Maybe Mark Burnett allows one or two contestants from last year back in??? he has done that with some of his other reality TV shows.
I see the announcement included guest stars like Slash, Macy Gray, Moby, and Rob Zombie.
Dude...you gotta get Billy Morrison, hell all of The Camp Freddy Core at some point. All those in favor????

I am SO incredibly psyched for the club tour, assuming you guys plan to hit the NY/NJ area. That is going to be fierce!
And if Suzie comes back for RS2, that would be awesome, because I think she's the bomb.
Spreading the love,

OMG my whole life's dream is to get to play Plinko on the Price is Right! I would totally be that girl freaking out and scaring Bob Barker. haha. And I live right by CBS, what am I doing? I need to get down there and make the dream happen. lol.
Anyways, the rumors are funny....fuck em dude!
Posted by: Amy at March 17, 2006 04:13 PM
That is bizarre how your words get twisted like that. I had no idea it was that screwed up.
Next time a journalist asks you about your married life, be honest. Tell them that you have decided to end your marriage and become a transexual go-go dancer touring clubs in Shanghai with Duff McKagan, John Lydon and a trio of flaccid goats.
Posted by: Byn at March 17, 2006 04:15 PM
aMY, i'M THE BIGGEST PLINKO FAN EVER!!!! Good to kno i'm not alone!!
I can't believe my eyes, I finall get out west, and there's a chance you will be elsewhere!!! I know this sounds selfish and stupid, but...some of those club dates better be in the LA area, that's the month I'll be there looking for a job and an apartment!!! I'd love to catch a little TPC while I'm there! Mabey to celebrate landing my new job and apartment!!
I'll be in the Pasadena area for a little bit then down to Costa Mesa/ newport Beach. nyone know anyone looking for an office manager there? help a sista out!
Dave you need another personal assistant?
Posted by: SweetMelis at March 17, 2006 04:45 PM
on a more serious note...anyone know anything about shooting heroine/coke as opposed to heroine alone. i ask completely seriously. I have been and am still dealing with a boyfriend and his horrible addiction. (we have seperated, for a while so that he might be able to takle his demons on his own) and it's just something i'd like some info on. Hope I'm not being a buzzkill!
Posted by: SweetMelis at March 17, 2006 04:50 PM
"happy days are here again, the sky above is clear again, we'll soon see what cities TPC will be in, happy days are here again"
Can't fucking wait to see that Tyra show, oh man, it must be priceless. "You don't know the history of Rock and Roll-I do" lol.
Wow, a tour. Can't stop smiling......

I should have stopped by 6767 earlier, hope you get this! I must actually admit, I'm stoked on checking this new Rockstar:Supernova. Please get Dave Mustaine to stop by, that would be TOO RAD!!! And dude, if it's at all possible, PLEASE include Vancouver (B.C., Canada) in your club tour! I'd love to see T.P.C. True what you said about Perk and Chaney!!!
Posted by: Spencer at March 17, 2006 07:21 PM
Hey SusieQ,
"I'm a HUGE Metallica fan (old school Metallica) and i miss my fix of Newsted. I'm looking forward to checking him out this season."
You mean "middle school fan".
"Cliff Burton" was original bassist of Metallica.

i'm glad everything is great with you and carmen. when i read that article, no where in your quote did you actually say "carmen and i are having problems" and you always ALWAYS have to get iffy when they bring in "a source" or a "close friend"..

As the participant in, or perhaps victim of, a 31 year-long [very happy] marriage, I feel qualified to give all the unsolicited advice anyone could possibly [not] want. You simply don't listen to the naysayers, whether they are sisters or brothers or mothers or, in your case, media. You smile and nod and go about your business. If you react they will keep it up. If you ignore them, they will get tired and move on. The media, I tell my jouralist friends, are decidedly bi-polar and ADD. You two go about your business and DO NOT let these intruders into your lives.
Posted by: jw at March 18, 2006 04:50 AM
Great advice, jw! :)

OT, I'm glad to see The Cult is rockin' a new tour.
http://www.myspace.com/cultmusic
I wasn't much fond of him fronting the faux Doors.
I saw The Cult headling over Lenny Kravitz years back and that was one amazing show.

Hey Dave, the two people that matter most know the truth about your lives together. The rest of the world truely doesn't count.

Im asking for prayers from the 6767 fam, my BEST friends parents died unexpectantly from a serious viral/bacterial illness that the hospitals doctors cannot confirm, we are so devastated they were only in their 50s, all the Dr's keep asking us is if they've been out of the country, which they haven't, we are guessing they are thinking "bird flu". Im so sad for my friend, we went in their house with masks and gloves to try to find insurance/will documents and can't find anything, so Monday I'm taking her to a lawyer.
Please send your prayers this way.
sorry to be the downer Im just so sad and I miss you guys that I've gotten to know these past few years on here, I feel I can come to my online fam for anything. If your able to, everyone hug your parents and tell them you love them, we never know what Gods plan is for us.
Posted by: Colleen at March 18, 2006 06:14 AM

So I was going to my Lasik surgery yesterday on Wilshire Blvd. (OH MY FREAK'N GOD I CAN SEE THIS MORNING W/O GD CONTACTS OR GLASSES!!! HELL YES!!) and I saw the hottest billboard of Mr. Dave Navarro for Aldo and the fight against HIV infection~~~~~~~~~~~ very hot David!! What sexy biceps~~~yumEE. u should post it here for all to see, plus u know, awareness. Anyways, as far as the marriage, there are sooo many gd haters that just try to start shit to cause shit and whatnot~~~~makes me ill. I checked in on the SRL b4 going to the Dr. and running errands to prepare and u guys were having a blast.
Enough.
So to the family here, my Dr. for my surgery is awesome and he gave me two gift certificats for 1000.00 off so if any you Cali ppl are truly interested in having one, let me know.
ps. Dr. Glenn Kawesch, my Dr., performed surgery on Jessica Simpson in '04 and Mary Pierce the tennis champ, amongst others. This morning I went back for post-op and now I see 20/15, after wearing -6.00 in both eyes! rock and roll~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~peace, CK
