Heather--I personally loved "Crash" thought it was devistating and hard to watch at times, but overall promoted an incredibly important message. I was glad it won for best picture...hopefully more people will see it now. That's my two cents! :)

I love The Darkness. Not saying ppl have to like what I do, but when you say a band sucks, you got to think hey, some ppl like this music. And have you seen them live? I guess not.
Now I got some bands I can't stand too, but I'm keeping my mouth zipped. New Jersey especially ppl will stone me.

I have seen the darkness live, they are a good live band, but so were Poison!!!!(Doesn't mean that they are any good)

I don't diss any bands too harshly, being a frustrated guitar player myself, I think fair play to any band that makes it, but most of what britain is offering at the moment just isn't my cup of tea. I was around during the first cock-rock explsion in the mid-80's, and while the darkness are good for a litlle nostalgia trip, ultimately they will probably be signing on again in a few years time, although Justin is an exceptional guitarist!

But Ylais, what did you think of my wife and I's choices of names for our new baby!

OT... I saw "Crash" today... It was one stellar movie from begin to end and top to bottom... Every performance was right on the money... What made me finally see it was when they said the premise of the movie was (basically) "people in LA crash into each other to make connections"... I thought what a brilliant concept and if it's pulled off a brilliant movie, which they did and was...
