A Late Sunday 10
1. Dave, when was the last time you didn't have a goatee?
Lemme see. That had to be around 1993. Damn! Thirteen years. I have always said that one day I'll shave, laser remove the ink and move to Wyoming.
2. When you get a tattoo how long do you wait from the time you get the idea to the time you get the tattoo?
It depends. Usually not that long. In fact, the last few I have gotten done were spur of the moment "what the hell" types of jams. I am not so great with appointments.
3. Do you hit up Melrose much? If so what's your favorite store and why?
I have not been there in years for shopping. I'll stop by for a coffee or an "on the way somewhere" gawk, but I rarely get out of the car. I tend to stay Westside for shopping and Eastside for playing.
4. It's obvious that you enjoy working in various mediums. What are your thoughts on touring the new TPC record? Would you describe The Panic Channel as a side project of sorts, or is it you're main focus?
Yes, I do like working in many mediums but music is always the most important and most special to me as it is where I get my creative flow. I look forward to taking TPC out on tour and making it my musical priority, but I will always enjoy playing with other artists and of course, Camp Freddy.
5. How does one become an SRL Vixen?
The Vixens will be selected by us at Spread Entertainment: Gregg, Riss, Robert... and I may have something to say about it too.
6. Will you be attending the same parties as Billy Morrison tonight?
I don't think so. I'll probably end up slumming it somewhere like the Rainbow or Rokbar. What?!
7. What happened with the Rockstar Press Release? I see auditions but no insight on show...can you let us know what's up yet or are you still obligated to keep sealed lips?
Hey yeah! What did happen to that? It'll be this week I'm sure. I think we are just finalizing some of the information so we can be as accurate as possible.
8. I was wondering Dave...would you ever consider moving to NYC or you an LA guy through and through?
I love NYC. However, I like it best with 24 hour room service, pay-per-view movies and housekeeping. I suppose if I could live at the Mercer, I could live in New York. If I had to go to the market and do random life stuff, I couldn't. I would really want my car.
9. Will you be indulging in a little poker while in Atlantic City?
"Did you order the code red?" "You're God damned right I did!" I mean, you're God Damned right I will.
10. What's the latest on the photo booth show?
As a result of TPC, Rockstar and some other stuff that has come up, we have decided to push it back to the fall. Don't worry I haven't forgotten!

Thanks for the "late Sunday 10" dave :) I love checking in on this site...it's always a bright point to my days. Now I'm off to school to try and comprehend the ins and outs of the Greek Tragedies.
I saw Carmen on the post-oscar show last night...looked beautiful as usual. What did you think of the Oscars, Dave? Any of your picks win?

There was talk of a car along with pictures at one time. A car that was getting tricked out TPC style. The Buick. Last we heard it was in the shop getting raised a bit. What has happened to the TPC Mobile and if it's done, can we see the finished product?

Morning D & Fam,
Haven’t posted much lately. Worked 101 hours last week. The only things keeping me going were SRL loops and looking forward to NIN in AC this weekend!
Dave, you ARE going to NIN, right?

And my heart broke this morning for Chris and Dana's son, Will. He lost his Dad, grandmother, and mother all in a short time. Quite a heavy burden for a young teen's shoulders. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Isn't that so sad about Dana Reeve? Awful, awful, awful... :(
On a better note, Happy B-day to boots. Congrats on surviving another year on this crazy planet! Always a milestone to be proud of.
On another good note, I guess Dave's appearance at the Heart/AIC AC show is a definite? Hmm... Not sure if how good my odds are of making it there this time... but we'll roll the dice and see.
