SRL Tomorrow

I am going to postpone tonight's Spread Radio Live until tomorrow night as I have a satellite interview with Donnie Deutsch and Mark Burnett this evening. I don't know when it airs. A lot of rumors around about the next Rockstar season. I cannot really speak about it yet but I can say that all of the rumors are inaccurate. As soon as I have final confirmation, I will let you know. It's been pretty quiet around here lately. I have been recovering from a nasty cold and Carmen is in Vienna.

A great movie: The Chumscrubber

1. Although the latest Bloody Mary mix is definitely sweeter, I was listening to the older version today and I wondered why you guys scrapped that dark, droning, ethereal, instrumental ending?

Well, that version still exists. We just wanted to make it a stronger song overall and focus on the story. I prefer the "tighter" version myself, but I am sure we will rock the outro live.

There is only a week left to vote for your favorite Indie band on Spread Radio Live. Killola is WAY out in front. It's looking like they might be the next featured artist.

so when asked if it's CF, why don't you just say 'no'?

still wondering....

Posted by: zim at February 21, 2006 01:02 PM

Haven't done this in a while, but 2nd!

Posted by: Crazy Bee at February 21, 2006 01:03 PM

damn. 3rd, I guess.

Dave, any more info on the possible 02/28 CF show? It hard to stay in the loop without the CF board. Anything, even if it's an industry gig - we need to start planning on how to get in.

Thanks

THANXXXXXXXX DAVE for commenting about RS....a girl can dream. -------------hugs, clk

hey dave, i was wondering if you would ever consider doing a fan faq. i think it would be very interesting if a bunch of fans got together and came up with an interview for you. It could deal with things like musicians that influenced you growing up, early bands that you had, early days in janes addiction, and more recent stuff as well, like things that inspired you for the new panic channell album and stuff like that. thanks.

The end of bloody mary is what was cool man.

Chicks dug it.

Like they dig codpieces.

Sometime I think Perry might reincarnate into a codpiece.

Dave, too bad about the S.R.L. postpone-ment, We all just have to wait one more day!

I'm looking forward to hearing the more detailed(than what was in D.T.T.A.H.)version of your getting-kicked-out-of-the P.B. Mansion story! I'd also like to request some Killola during this upcoming episode. I really hope They do become the new feature indie S.R.L. artist!!!

I hear that the interview with Donnie D. will be on at 10 EST tonight... less than 1/2 hour away. This info comes courtesy of a friend of mine. Hopefully she's right.

Dave, hope you make a full recovery soon.

Cheers,

Okay, I have a confession to make, sexyass or ilovenewyork was me. I just am so enthralled with that chick on cams.com.......it's like such a socialogical study in the making watching that shit. I can't help but think some are mos def in semi-sex slavery, held captive in what is commonly known as a prison w/o walls. Mind control is used and often times is coupled with feeding the victim a buffet of drugs. Okay, there as any good catholic would do I confessed.

funny...i thought carmen was busy getting down with victoria silvedstet or however you spell the lil bunny's name.

hey dave; thanks for passing your cold up to san francisco. i think that means you owe us a show soon.

question for you, dave...we can certainly tell that you're a city boy; as am i, however, is there anything in nature or of nature that makes you take a step back from l.a. and just observe, perceive and receive? something that makes you want to soak in the inherent beauty of mother earth? since you're surrounded by the scene and l.f'ing.a., i was just wondering. and no, with my apology, you're not allowed to mention the rain; you have already done that.

peace; come see the cult with us at the fillmore. or the black crowes acoustically at bimbo's.

late.

You were on with Donnie and Mark? I don't have satellite radio so I guess it wouldn't have mattered...

CPS3 was on this weekend - did you watch yourself? Any more televised poker tournaments in the works for you?

Always,
me

Sid-Dave just wrote in his post that the rumours are inaccurate.
Zim-"chicks dig codpieces"?!! oh really? :P so you wear one for your chick then i take it. lmao.

Posted by: ylais at February 22, 2006 03:59 AM

Yes ylais I wear this one

http://webpages.charter.net/zimphire/forums/navcodpiece.jpg

It's the special collectable version of the Dave Navarro codpiece.

Women can't keep their hands off it.

Dave-I missed out on getting tickets to the Heart and friends show in Atlantic City at the Taj as you can imagine, I am so disappointed and mad at myself for waiting til the last minute! Do you think you'll be playing any poker while you're there?
Glad to hear you're starting to feel better!
Thanks
Michelle

Mark & Brian (radio hosts on KLOS here in LA) or their staff read this blog, cause they pretty much repeated verbatim Dave's ROCKSTAR info listed above during their radioshow this morning. Hi Mark, Hi Brian... Why the &*)) can't I ever get through trying to get tickets, eh?

Posted by: Kate at February 22, 2006 12:23 PM

HOLY CRAP!

The indie station here in NY is playing Rexall right now! I've never heard it on the radio before!!! (stations haven't been cool enough to play it...)
WOW.
