Rock On! That shows true dedication to your fans to do a radio show from a hotel room. Thanks Dave.

Dave welcome to NY.
Hope your stay here is a successful one
...wanna go to Scores? LOL

Please excuse me for the probably stupid question I am about to ask. I, for the first time, and I am very excited, am trying to listen to SRL and it keeps skipping out--is this because I have dial-up? Don't laugh--haha--Yes, I have dial-up. It's free through the college--anyway. Help?

Posted by: Kellie at February 7, 2006 05:22 PM

Awww yeah!!!

S.R.L. is bustin' shit up man! I love it, can't wait to get the straight poop from your hotel coop tonight. So, so glad to see Killola in the running for the next month's S.R.L featured artist! Luv ya Dave, you hook us up!

Posted by: Spencer at February 7, 2006 05:35 PM

You picked a cold week to head East! If you were here last week, it was so warm, you would have felt right at home!

Well, welcome to NY!

I'm psyched for the NYC edition of SRL!

Spreading the love,
Deena

Heck yah! Bring it on..maybe some TPC tunes tonight?

Posted by: Diane/FRI13th at February 7, 2006 06:10 PM

I'm also on dialup and can't listen in without major skipping. Most stations accomodate both options so maybe if we ask really nice, Dave will set us up soon.

Dave, I just read your book and read through a few interviews with you! I have to say that I think it is great that you not only utilized outside help but also stopped and served as a spectator to yourself. It's great that you were able to step outside yourself to look in and reflect upon your situation and work on your intrapersonal skills instead of staying caught in the vicious snowballing cycle. I am a fan of yours, not only because of the obvious (which I suppose you already know) because of your charisma and you're so articulate!! I was wondering what "zobrax" is. I may be spelling it wrong, but you informed your audience that you take it regularly.I was just curious. I can't wait for your comments on the next rock star. By the way, your supportive nature is vital to a contestants' growth. I think it would break them down if they only heard criticisms and their shortcomings. I'd love to see more of you. LaurenZ

Hi Dave,
Suzanne and I are on dialup and can't here the live broadcasts without skipping :( Is there anything that can be done?? If so that would be awesome! Thanks Dave--p.s. What do you think about girls who say guys are yummy? Just wondering--I don't say it myself but just curious what you thought about it.

Hey Dial-up users,

You can't listen to SRL on dial up. You will need to have a broadband connection.
Thanks

Dave, can you put the mic out the window tonight and get the sounds of the street... new york has a sound like no other city in the world. I want to hear the sirens and gun shots...

Posted by: leroy at February 8, 2006 02:35 AM

Hey Dave, great to hear you and Steve last night. Thanks again for playing the "sneak peeks". I don't know who is more excited, you all or us that are waiting for the release. =-)

I checked out the 5 Indies, it was so hard to pick just one! That is a great first line up for SRL.

Peace all

Any chance someone could sort out the bloody telephone companies here in the UK to make broadband easier to get and then I can listen without interruption!?!?!?! I've been trying for 3 f@8*$&ing days!!!

The order has now been cocked up THREE times! My current internet connection stops tomorrow (which was when it was originally supposed to be put in) and they can't get that one re-instated. Then it was going to be sorted for Monday but that one has had to be cancelled. Then it was Tuesday - guess what? Messed that one up as well! Now they are cancelling everything and starting again. So I am going to be without a business phone line, fax or internet connection for somewhere around about a week - I'm taking bets on whether I still have a business left after the end of it. It's not like it's that difficult - I want to convert my current ISDN to broadband and get a new phone line put in for the fax. In the time it has taken me, and hence the billing time I've lost, to do this it would have been cheaper for me to pay Dave to come to my house and broadcast SRL from MY bedroom so I could hear it!!! Aaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm - there's an idea ..... Dave, how much would you charge to fly over to the UK for a personal weekly broadcast? ;-)

SRL plays some of the bestest music and hot damn, what a variety that skewers my sonic tastebuds...
rock on dude (said while holding up "devil rock hand sign")... also, can't wait to see what Carmen'll spin on her Carmenelectronica hour...

hot damn!!! SRL plays some of the bestest music that skewers my sonic tastebuds... and I can't wait to hear what Carmen'll spin on her Carmenelectronica hour... especially since I read her list of fave music artists, and she's got really good taste...

Foo Fighters playing Hyde Park 17 June with Motorhead and QOTSA - guess who's got tickets!!!

YAY!!!!! YAY!!!! YAY!!!! YAY!!!! YAY!!!!

That makes up for the fact that from tomorrow I will be off internet access for a week.

On balance - today is a good day!!! ;-)

Hey Dave!!! Great show from NYC last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You even indulged my need to hear your impersonation of KS "DAMN IT". LOL, thanks bunches for adding that in.

Loved the track from TPC, it's good stuff man. Can't wait to hear the entire album.

Finished reading your book a few nights ago. I couldn't put it down and ended up reading it in one day. It is truly a work of art. You and Neil compliment each others written word very well. Your thoughts mess together and seem as if either one of you could have written it. Very well put together book Dave. I'm sorry for the pain you had to go through to bring it into reality. But on the same token I'm glad that the long hard road led you to a much happier life.

Hope you are having a great week. Please have a safe trip home.

Hey Dave,

I was having a lot of trouble with the 1 AM EST broadcast tonight. I don't know if there were technical problems on your end or on mine, but I kept getting the live365 dead air message. Did anyone else have that problem?

Hey Lyn,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

I'd sing "Happy Birthday" to you, but I don't want to be wrestled to the ground and gagged in here.

In need of a good tuning,

"what do you think about girls who say guys are yummy? Just wondering--I don't say it myself but just curious what you thought about it.
Kellie"
..well, kellie, i normally would not have said 'yummy' because i am not the 'girlie-girl' kind of woman, but personally i thought telling dave that he had this look that said 'come f*ck me now' would be a little inappropriate.

"Hey Dial-up users,

..come on Loop, aren't you supposed to be the genius? can't you create a way to fix it for us poor little dial up users? or maybe create a broadband connection that you don't have to jump through loops to get(no pun intended)?
