Dave: Im sure you do a lotta work with fellow addicts, and with specialists in addiction who seek advice. Im wondering if you know if there is there a college scholarship fund for addicts looking into furthering their education to help others. I work in drug addiction field, and am looking to go to UCONN for my masters (you probably know that place from the basketball team)...I got my bachelors on heroin so I feel a masters degree wont be impossible sober! Anyway 10 grand is like my life savings and means Ill never get ahead in this life and own a home..so if you come across one in your conversations and travels...think of boots n your website. Im tryin for my MSW in social work. Anyway its a good thought, kinda petty to ask...but with help Ill be able to in turn continue a life helping addicts who need one on one counseling and advocacy and thats not the reality of the pettiness of my question.
