No Biased words. The songs were brilliant, honestly nothing should be cut. I would suggest the White and Black Albums, but the Beatles did that...who cares, do it too. It all should be put on CD.

I thought you all might like to know.

Bauhaus slid fully formed from punk rock's womb in late 1978. Over the course of four hot years, they unintentionally birthed a genre (Goth), moved on, moved forward, and surged mercurial through the post-punk music scene, tearing into tense, bass-driven new-wave, T-Rex-esque dark-glam, and swirling, clattering, orchestral atmospherics, whilst churning it into a grand, velvet, Rimbaudian hallucination. To pin the band to one genre is nothing but reductive. Their influences run deep, encompassing everything from dub reggae to proto-electronic bands like Can and Suicide.

It's all building blocks; you see it when they play live. It comes to you in sudden illuminations! You realize that The Faint, The Killers and Moving Units got their twisted, sex club beats from Bauhaus. Seeing Bauhaus live brings it all back home. Band members, Peter Murphy (singer), David J (bassist), Daniel Ash (guitarist) and Kevin Haskins (drummer) will be performing at The Grove of Anaheim on Friday, December 9th, for one unforgettable evening.

Bummer... Missed the chat-broadcast thingie. I was in the city on a work-related outing, followed by really awesome sushi and libations and conversation. *Almost* as good as this, I suppose, but not quite. Oh well... Hopefully next time!

The thing that was great about it most to me was it was like going to a concert. We didn't just hear the music, but you and Steve gave feedback. The personal touch you get when hearing it live and a story that goes with it.

To buy a CD and just listen...yeah, but to listen to this one, it will be better. The stories, the talk of the work behind it...Special!!

All the work you do to bring things to us like last night...you all just wonderful.

Hey Dave. I was at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano last night. As I was leaving, I saw a picture of Jane's Addiction on the wall. There you were, sans beard and longer hair. I had to do a double take. Very cool pic!

I gotta tell you Man, I was one of the lucky 30, and that was an incredible moment. Don't think I'll EVER forget it, it was that monstrous. Chilling, crushing, epic-Jesus, this is just gonna blow up so fucking huge. I'm ecstatic with joy for you, Steve, Perk, Chaney, and all that are along for this ride. Really great music is something that is greater than the sum of it's parts. That is certainly the case of what I was able to experience last night. That was damn near a religious experience and I'm still not quite over it. Thanks and kudos to all involved, excellent work.

I just want to know one thing Dave. When in the HELL are you gonna do anything for us FANS Man? :)

To be a part of history like that, to be among the first to hear the completed recordings of TPC..well, all I can say is, that's something you'll be able to tell the grandkiddies about.

We are already blessed enough with early exposures to tidbits of you new music/masterpieces. Anyway, have you considered an early realease of the new CD to TPC board members? Also, are their tour dates to accompany the realease? I prob should have saved these questions for Sunday 10, but anyway. Thanks for being so great to us, your fans.

Also - just an idea - since you plan to have more internet radio broadcasts - would you consider a show dedicated to DTTAH - kind like "Opra's Book Club" except it would be 'Dave's Book Club.' I think it would be cool to talk about your book, Pamela's Des Barres book. Might be a silly idea, but I though I'd throw it out there.

I've been going absolutely crazy lately with my ex and him flaking out on our children and had to have a dose of Kettle Whistle to gain some sanity and my 6yr old for the first time took a huge liking to three days and said Mamma one more time please...we continued to listen to it 3 more times and on the way to school this morning he said mamma I need to listen to #9 (3days kettle whistle) please!!!
