"Hey Miffy
I'm resisting the urge to throw a large bowl of porridge in your direction. See Dave, I can behave myself.
It feels so wrong,
LostBoy"
Dave - don't be fooled - I'm betting I have porridge in my In Box - Lost Boy just doesn't know how to behave! I'm off to look ....

Hi Dave, Having major probs trying to listen to CFR and SRL but will try again tomoz. Now I have the time diff sorted, all I have to do is get the computer to work overtime and hopefully I won't be missing out anymore. If it doesn't work this time I may be looking at a new setup for Christmas!
Glad you all had a great Thanksgiving, We DO have a lot to be thankful for, and I am thankful to have been accepted into your community.
Love and peace from NZ
Ali :-)

I LOVE it when I am right!!!!! Porridge everywhere! That's cool - saves me making breakfast *giggle*
Last nights SRL - FINALLY got to hear nearly all of it (if we ignore the damn annoying rebuffering) and all I can say is
YOU DA MAN
YOU DA MAN
Go get shares in broadband - keep playing music like that and EVERYONE is gonna be switching from dial up! (well - those of us still living in the dark ages anyway - damn that rebuffering is annoying - get thrown off ITunes every time you start to speak as well!)
So - Lost Boy - where you been? Been kinda quiet without you. Is your cat still pissing like a horse? How's the plumbing? (insert sly wink here)
Are you still not able to get sorted over on TPC? I think it's time to start a petition to get your presence over there - I need your humour man - you are one of the only people to get my jokes!
Miffy x
(oh, and a tin of cherries in goeey sauce dumped in your lap)

Hiya!
Today is Dave C's birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!
CFR looks to be a great show. Isn't it always?!
Dunno if I can stay awake for the Spread Broadcast though. Maybe. :D I'm moving this Wednesday over to Norfolk, so I've got to get some more sleep!!!!
It's a long drive. And it's been snowing here.
Loads of love,
Lisa

Miffy, GET BROADBAND! Go for it!
Dial-up is not only crazy making; it's more expensive. Pay once a month, and stay online all
the time with broadband.

Happy Birthday Dave C! You and ylais are two of my original "friends", and I am thankful for you both, now get packing!
Dave, looking forward to another great CFR tonight! and Miffy, I will be hitting the buffer button with you. but,Dave, one more thing...
Play my sweeper, please, my dear Caffeinated Sue made it for me and everything! As for requests, I have given up hope that you will play my Detachable Penis, and now am humbly asking for my Who/CSI medley, or 88 lines about 44 women..
jezzi(trying to behave)

LOL..I almost fell asleep and left myself in the chat room alone all night.
I'm waiting for my brother to come out today, so he can do some music stuff with me and I get to see my new first baby nephew again! So, I may skip the radio shows tonight for some much needed family time! I need to take lots of pictures of me and the baby..Awww. I'm feeling aunti'sh and mushy.
Later all!

Thanks for the Birthday wishes lisa and Jezz!!
Get packing???? Lisa is enough of a slave driver with that , don't you start. I am sick of packing and tripping over boxes:P

Rock and pop - great combo... Nice to see no hip hop, it's way too overplayed...
Posted by: Savvy1007 at November 26, 2005 12:17 PM
Thanks for asking about my cat's plumbing Miffy {{{snicker}}}. Both of our plumbing is doing great {{{giggle}}}. I haven't been around very much since GirlCat almost died on me. I stayed with her all night at the vets, while she was there. The veterinary assistant wasn't supposed to let me in after hours, as I could have been Jack the Ripper. But she decided Jack the Ripper wouldn't have been standing outside in the cold, with his nose pressed against the glass ready to cry. I wasn't really, going to cry that is. Not really. But you've probably figured out, if a broken sink can send me off the deep end, a broken cat almost did me in.
Off to make cherry pie,
LostBoy
BTW, not a big fan of dial-up !!!
Posted by: LostBoy at November 26, 2005 01:13 PM
No hip-hop at Trash?! NICE!!! It's one of the reasons I hate going out to clubs. I need some REAL music! (((Like the Depeche Mode, I'm listening to it right now. Good cd you guys, check it out if you haven't yet.)))
NAVARRO (couple questions to consider for Sunday 10)
~Do you have any updated info on that pedal contest thing?
~Seen anything good from Netflix lately?
~What kind of workouts do you do at the gym? Running? Weights? Everything?
Happy Birthday, Dave C and have a blast at your concert Sexsinger! I will be at my friends surprise bday party. Probably stuck listening to some hip-hop...hahahaha.
Love, Amber :)

Well I probabaly wont be around for CFR, but for once the time differencial works in my favor. This this time I can go out for a bit to catch up with some friends and make it home by 1:30 or so for the last half hour of SRL.
DAVE- Another Sunday 10 Question if you have a chance:
When you visit the East Coast, where do you like to visit? Any NYC venues/clubs/restaurants that you like to visit?
I had an awsome time listening, chatting, IMing in pictures and stuff on Thanksgiving - Awesome show!

Hmmm - gotta admit, still not sure about switching to broadband. I have ISDN at the moment and use AOL for internet access so only pay a fixed monthly fee anyway. Problem is ISDN works really well for my business (everything on business lines) - I can have 3 lines on it so I have the internet, fax and telephone on 3 different numbers with the ability to use 2 at once. If I go broadband then I can still use 2 lines but the internet takes up one of them and I either have to pay rental for another line for the fax or pay a fortune switching my letterhead to change the fax number on it and can only get faxes when I am sitting next to the machine to hit the button. BT get enough of my money as it is so don't really want to give them more! Also, my computer holds lots of financial information about my clients and I am fairly paranoid about security so am not keen on having an always on connection.
On the other hand - Dave DID play both Iggy Pop & Spunk & Nancy last night ................
Posted by: Miffy at November 26, 2005 02:54 PM
see, Miffy, I feel ya, and with me, it's either Cable TV or DSL..grrr, grrr. I don't want to give up my IFC,Sundance, and Radio TV channels..grrr
See, if only I got paid more, maybe I could get a second job, wait, I have a second job, maybe I could get a third job, wait, my son doesn't really need good shoes, or a car...hmmm
on another note..Dave, guess what? Newsflash, I'm a dumbass!! ahhahha, I have been politely informed that you DID play my sweeper, must have been when I was hitting the buffer button..I'm sorry...AGAIN!!! In fact, now everything has been thrown into doubt, maybe you DID play Detachable Penis..if I sound penis obsessed, well..it's YOUR fault...rooster lover!!(kidding, I jest)
ok, and if, oh if, you answer a Sunday 10, tell me, have you tried the xbox 360? Come on, you know you have one! you are on the cutting edge of all the cool technology stuff, while we're on that subject..Ipods? nano or the bigger one? Can you tell I'm ready to max out nonexistent credit for the boy?
love!

Depeche Mode's "Playing the Angel" was on tap at the 4th&B'way NYC Tower... I listened to 'A Pain That I’m Used To' - whoa what a prenically awesome intro and 'Damaged People' - a definite love song for modern times, in full... Loved both tracks... I mos def need this cd...
Posted by: Savvy1007 at November 26, 2005 04:58 PM
Jezi - DEFINITELY go for the bigger one. I got a 4MB mini at the start of the year and you wouldn't believe how quickly I managed to run out of space on it. My music collection really isn't that big - although I do use it to back up the pooter as well (it's tax deductible - it really is a piece of business equipment, honest!). REALLY regret not spending the little bit extra to get the bigger one.

Happy Birthday Dave C :)

Damn Jezzi
That kid of yours sounds expensive !!! Have you ever thought of trading him in for a nice cat?
Um, on second thought, I just paid $700 to get my cat to pee.
Nevermind,
LostBoy

Hello, Dave....
How are you today? Gotta to catch about a half hour of CFR last night and the webcast and may I say, it was so good to see your beautiful face again!
Christmas is less than a month away....have you sent your letter to Santa? What would be on your wish list?
Always,

Lost Boy - I can pee - tell you what, I'll do a cut price deal and only charge you $500 - what do you think? Hell - I could do with a pee right now so I'll even throw in the first one for free!

Peace and Love all!

Hey, SRL was great last night, and I loved talking to all of you in the chat room. The only thing that kinda put me off, were the comments being made about us po' folk still on dial-up, I seriously felt pretty ghetto...I mean, this isn't the place to go into it, but I have tried to get DSL before, was sent a faulty modem, got no help from technical support, was never able to connect, but was billed for usage just the same, 250 dollars later, they finally admitted the problem was at their end. So, I hope you can understand my leeriness at going through this again, with the limited options available in my area. I think we would do well to BE NICER.(my favorite line from Arrested Development)
That being said, I have made my choice between Dave and the 200 channels I would be giving up.
It's YOU, Dave, it's always been you!! hahaha
ok, self-pity, party of one, your table's ready...
I love all you guys, you make staying home on Saturday nights not seem pathetic

Hi Dave or Robert...I figured out what I needed to do to link to 6767. It took sleeping number one. Funny how the mind clears with a little of that. I didn't have a picture to use for 6767 though...Spread Radio is a go and TPC....so life is good on myspace.
Anyway, thanks Admin for willingness to hear my pleas!! Haha. A little time and determination...all is well (for now...next project coming I'm sure)
Posted by: Stardreme at November 27, 2005 08:17 AM
hey, wow Jezzi!
I don't blame you for be leery of DSL. We have Sprint and support has been not-too-shabby. Of course, it helps to have a techie in the family. :)

Dave! I loved hanging out with you and the "fuckers" last night, not getting any sleep and waking up w-a-a-yyyy too late and feeling like I....like I.....whatever.
Nothing a cup of strong coffee won't cure.
Later!
