I hear they are SUPER HEALTHY...and its got my curiosity...however its that whole rod up my ass thing im having a hard time getting over...any advice???
thanks...I love hearing your input on INXS...you seem pretty cool.

Dave, do you remove the back plate that covers the bendy bar innards on your guitars? Just peeled it off the back of my PRS today. BIG hassle when changing strings. If so, why include it in the first place (the Santana II doesn't come with one)? Or should I be asking Paul...

Hey Dave,
When writing songs these days are you
a) trying to make interesting and powerful music
or
b) trying to write songs that are fun to play live?
I ask because although I'm a big fan of lots of your work as a musician (most notably Jane's, esp. No One's Leaving), The Panic Channel seems very one dimensional and formulaic. Hope you get time to answer.
Cheers.

Movie recomendation: The Immortal
Way deep and trippy Eqyptian Sci-Fi from France (in English)

awesome about the cahtroom, but what is a pod cast?
Posted by: Danielle at August 20, 2005 10:50 AM
chatroom even...
Posted by: Danielle at August 20, 2005 10:51 AM
DAnielle- awesome about the cahtroom, but what is a pod cast?
Podcasting is a method of publishing audio broadcasts via the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed of new files (usually MP3s). It became popular in late 2004, largely due to automatic downloading of audio onto portable players or personal computers.
Podcasting is distinct from other types of online media delivery because of its subscription model, which uses a feed (such as RSS or Atom) to deliver an enclosed file. Podcasting enables independent producers to create self-published, syndicated "radio shows," and gives broadcast radio programs a new distribution method. Listeners may subscribe to feeds using "podcatching" software (a type of aggregator), which periodically checks for and downloads new content automatically. Some podcatching software is also able to synchronise (copy) podcasts to portable music players. Any digital audio player or computer with audio-playing software can play podcasts. The same technique can deliver video files, and by 2005 some aggregators could play video as well as audio.
"Podcasting" is a portmanteau word that combines the words "broadcasting" and "iPod." The term can be misleading since neither podcasting nor listening to podcasts requires an iPod or any portable music player. For that reason, various writers have suggested reinterpreting the letters POD to create "backronyms" such as "Personal On-Demand."[1] The term "Radio Me" was coined by Peter Day of the BBC for the same reason. A little-used alternate is "blogcasting", although this usually only refers to recordings that are based on, or similar in format to, blogs.
Have a great weekend.

Hey Dave, I'm a 14 year old girl and I need to come out to my parents. I know you're not gay but do you have any advice? I really admire you and advice will be helpful. Thank you, I love you!
Posted by: chloe at August 20, 2005 11:35 AM
Wow! Great stuff going on here. Thanks so much. I can't make it tonight (not that my computer lets me access this stuff anyhow), but as always I'll be there in spirit. :) I hope all of you have fun broadcasting, chatting, and/or listening.
I know I need a new computer soon, and I may ask for or treat myself to an iPod for my birthday. I gotta say, all these goodies from Dave and Rob are all great incentives!
Much love and gratitude,
-Denise

Ins't technology a bitch! Pod bradcasts now eh? nifty.
on another note...
I wonder what exactly you and your friends got out of it? I have a serious grudge to settle with Cookie/spike and Tik. A score needs settling. Fuckin somewhere around +200 lyrics. I am so fucking hurt and tired of being taken for the only thing I do the best. PEople can just go fuck themselves. Not a single one of them ever did anything for me in return. I hope they die.

Hi Dave, hi family..please indulge me for a moment
I want to make a public apology to Lyn for offending him in any way, shape or form, just because he threatened me, and told me I was mentally ill, I had no right to say that I was going to tell people about something HE did once, two wrongs don't make a right, as my mom would say
Lyn, please forgive me, I promise, if I EVER get let back to Panic Community again, I will NEVER, EVER, EVER, question your authority....
thanks

Dave,
Kind of a personal question, hope you don't mind. Do you wax or have you had your chest hair permanently removed? Your chest always looks so smooth. How about them legs... all we ever see you in is pants... or a skirt with fishnets!!!
Have a great evening!
Posted by: Tara at August 20, 2005 08:15 PM
Dave,
Thanks for the chat, it was really cool we all got to comment on the show and callers. Everyone really loved the shout out as well. Also I am very dissappointed you didn't get my pics. I guess I will try again if thats okay. Great show. Good night and take it easy don't work yourself to hard.

Hello all!
Bare with me...I have MS and my brain doesn't always catch up with the concepts...snd I always thought my brain cells would be fried by certain substances...hahahaha the joke is on me!
OK- I have a Panic Channel log on and password- I tried to login to the chat.
Does the chat go on at anytime or only when CF Radio show is on? Or when Dave specifies? In other words, is there a schedule?
Please let me know,
Thanks,
Claudinha

Good morning everyone.
Claudinha: I think the chat is only going to be available when the radio show is on.
Saturdays 8pm-10pm or so..lol I left before they kicked people out last night, figured I'd save them the time.
I think they may need to leave it open a little longer so Dave has time to get home and pop in there for a few and hang out. ;-)

Was able to pop into the chat for a bit last night...fun stuff! Thanks so much, Dave...have a beautiful Sunday.
