Another Taping
I am off for another performance show. Don't forget that the reality portion of the show is tonight on VH1. There should be some good drama tonight. Last night's Camp Freddy Radio will be up on the Panic Channel Radio in a few days. We had Super Model Rachel Hunter in the studio. Good times. Next week, we will have another guest and Billy will be calling in throughout the broadcast live from Ozzfest. Only on the Independent - Indie 103.1 FM

Oh my freaking god, I am the FIRST to respond! Unreal, considering that I'm always on the bottom...
Anyways, I hope that everyone's having a good weekend, and are with the ones they love. Dave, tell Carmen that we're sorry to hear about her scorpion. My son's hamster just died recently, and I know how heartbroken he was.
Also, everyone please send a few thoughts out to my son (who's 3). He's a viral infection, and his skin is all broken out in lesions. No fever or malaise, or anything else, but his skin is scary looking, and my poor baby just wants to scratch and scratch!

Hey Dave,
I love that picture you two look so great together.
Question?
Do you see yourself getting more into movies in the future?
Say Hi to Carmen for me
All the best of luck always

Darn! No Sunday 10 answers? I really wanted to know about your taste in art, as well as Carmen's.
Maybe you will comment on this at some other time?
Thanks!

Hi everyone.
That picture is beautiful!
Dave, I was wondering something about Camp Freddy. Do you like gather and go "hey, let's do Paradise City!" or is it much more thought out than that?
Have a great Sunday everyone!
I've seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - just two critiques - Helena Bonham Carter was far to posh to be the English working class mother. And some of the Americanisms - eg, we don't say 'pants' rather its trousers or 'candy' we say sweets annoyed me as The Buckets are an English family. Apart from that I loved it - much more in keeping with the book.

Glad to hear you all had a good time at Rokbar and that you got to see Daphna again. She seemed very cool.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful and safe weekend.
Sorry to hear about Scorpy :o(

That last post looks like one big ad for about 4 different entities.
Did someone buy this site recently? Did you take on a partner(s)?

Good afternoon!
I am visiting some relatives and I don't know if I will get to see the show tonight or have to wait to watch the tape tomorrow night. What kind of drama could be played up tonight? Now I want to go home so I can watch it!
Dang - why do I have to babysit while everyone else goes to tour houses? Guess I am just nice that way!
Always,
me

hey Dave...do you know if they are planning on releasing RS:INXS on DVD when the show is over? There have been some awesome performances I'd love to see again.

Dave,
Love the new look of the site...too cool!! Hope you have fun taping and I hope to catch the CFR I missed last night soon. Are you planning on getting another scorpion to replace Scorpy? I heard tarantulas are cool pets.

Mandie, hope your boy is better quick!!! When mine were little, I always wished it were me instead of them....
Dave, you and Carmen are so beautiful....that is a Christmas card pic for sure!!!
Can't wait until the store section is up and running....I want a T-shirt and CD's and whatever else will be offered....
I am going to get ready to watch "RockStar"....wish the chat section were up so I could "watch" it with the rest of you....

Dave,
You were right, MARTY has a very hard song for Tuesday's show. For those who do not know, MARTY has to sing "Hit Me Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears. I can't wait to see it.
I agree with your assessment of JD. I think that he would be a pain in the neck to work with.
Later,
Mike from NYC

Dave
You were not kidding about this show....no understatement about it. Marty with "Hit Me Baby one more time". I have just laughed and cried so much. Tuesday is going to be so interesting. Too bad JD couldn't talk the others into doing his song, it was by far better. I would hope that he would get some "band" points in that he works well with the house band. At least on camera he's always bonded with them.

Missed the show...I read somewhere that vh1 was showing the show at 8:30 PM- so what happened...it was on at 8:00 PM! It will be back on again.
So why did they give Marty that song? Is that a joke or what?? I mean Spears is NOT rock...poor guy. Dave was right, tis a minf f**k!
Claudinha- distressed in DC!
Posted by: Claudinha at August 14, 2005 05:57 PM
Actually, Claudinha, "Hit Me Baby One More Time" *HAS* been performed by rockbands - Fountains of Wayne have a version, as do Travis.
You should check those versions out. Quite good.

Hay Dave,
I was looking at different pictures of you and I noticed you were practicaly playing a different guitar in each one and that you favor your white one and I was wondering how many different guitars you have?
All my best of luck always

Hey Dave...
Quick question.. Do you know if the Vegas Poker on Aug. 26th is open to the public to watch, or are you secluded?
Book a CF show for the public.. We are dying here!!! Chris Cornell would be an EXCELLENT guest!!
Thanks.. have a great Monday.. Tracy

The new layout rocks!
Posted by: Jenn at August 15, 2005 05:10 AM
So, is Scorpy among the dearly departed or was it just hibernating?
I am really, really, really looking forward to Tuesday's show!!!
Posted by: Cori at August 15, 2005 05:43 AM
I think Dweezil Zappa did the song too; but I think Marty would disappoint everyone if he grunged the song up. :)

Hey Claudinha:
Are you kidding me, I wouldn't have gone out this weekend if I had been paid to do so!
The AC was blasting at home: I had set my mind on watching the "Glass Spider Tour"...always good to see Bowie. Whatched a lot of Cosby show too, and made...hot cocoa!
Have a great week.
