Hi Dave,

Do you really speak French ?
What is the last band you discovered?
Do you know some French musicians ?

Keep on rockin' (in a free world)

You are welcome. I make sure to post any unusual/and or embarrassing photos of you and your wife and my leisure. *thumbsup*

Hey Dave,
I am also the owner of several tattoo's and would like to keep them as "fresh" as possible. After having yours for so many years, (not implying that your old..) how do you keep them looking so good? Do you go for many "touch up's?" as it doesn't seem you are too concerned about sun exposure, considering your always performing shirtless.
Take care

They're REAL and they're SPECTACULAR!

hi everyone,
I'm knackered, been at a computer screen half the day reading medical articles about the liver!
Hey Dave, what do you recommend to overcome tiredness? I've drunk around 5 cups of strong coffee, but still sleepy...!

Have a great day everybody

Hi Dave - any tips on how to move from simple chords to learning to be a lead guitar rock god like yourself?

Posted by: Mean Gene at June 1, 2005 12:53 PM

Julie -

Until Dave responds with another suggestion, I have 2 words for you: POWER NAP. :)

Dave –

I’ve played guitar for some 20+ yrs. I’ve put in countless hours learning other (guitar) players licks from the tone of one single note to the scratching of a pick alongside a pickup. I’ve been able to tackle the styles of almost any guitarist I’ve loved, however I continue to struggle with a lot of Jeff Beck’s stuff. My question – what guitar players blow your mind and leave you saying, “How the hell does he do that??

Thats a crazy picture. I hope things are well with you, Dave. Have a nice dayy!

Hey got a question,
Was at your book signing in Jersey, and remember thinking how it must feel for you to have all these people come to see you, and of course purchase the book, but was curious in how does it feel to be noticed everywhere you go? And is it kinda eerie for people to just gawk at you as if you were an animal in the zoo?

Also my b-day is 7/7/77, cooler than yours! Ha ha!

Thanx

Dave, that movie is so amazing and thought provoking... I've only seen it once and I feel like I need to watch it about five more times to really understand it. I saw it in school, and it was so refreshing to actually see a worthwhile movie. The thing with the water molecules was so cool, don't you think?

Dave...since you probably don't have an interest or a chance to read every thread at the TPC Community...I am posting your Chinese Zodiac info here...my question is, do you feel it's at all accurate? If so, how accurate?

Your sign is the Goat:

Daydreaming all afternoon sounds heavenly to the Goat. This creative, esoteric Sign needs plenty of time alone in which to feed its Muse. Goats are generally most comfortable in their own minds (which other, more linear-thinking Signs may have trouble deciphering). This Sign makes a great craftsperson or artisan, or perhaps a teacher of New Age studies -- any occupation that allows its mind the full range of freedom. Goats tend not to be very well-organized, precluding many more dry business endeavors. In fact, Goats tend not to be very materialistic in general, finding plenty of riches in their own imagination. However, especially when in love, the Goat can be quite a lavish gift-giver.

Perhaps it's that artistic temperament that so often causes Goats to feel insecure, but the result is that these high-strung creatures need to feel loved and admired lest they start worrying incessantly. For this reason, Goats tend to have a hard time with romance; anyone who couples up with a Goat must know, this Sign has a sensitive streak a mile wide and can be subject to bouts of anxiety over seemingly inconsequential things. Goats need plenty of love, support and open reassurance from their lovers. If a relationship is marked by conflict, the Goat will often pull away -- either physically or simply by retreating into the safe haven of its imagination.

If the romance is going well, however, Goats won't hesitate to tell their partner what they need -- and they can be quite insistent about it! This Sign will definitely return the favor, however; the Goat has a luxurious side that delights in indulging a lover's every wish. Appearances are also important to the Goat, which may explain why these folks can spend hours primping and posing.

Goats would be well-served by learning to relax and let others run the show from time to time. Once they can be certain that their friends and lovers won't be gone when the Goat returns from its daydreams, life will be a field of daisies.

The most compatible match for a Goat is the Pig or the Rabbit.

Hello everybody!!
Just came by to say "hi" and have a nice day, especially you Dave.

Posted by: Adriana at June 1, 2005 04:36 PM

its not just you TL, hella weirds me out too, but then again i like to be weirded out. so that might imply that i like the picture. which i don't. its a horrible photoshop job, and the premise bothers me. i don't like to picture mrs.navarro that way.

So what do you think about Perry's next project, the Satellite Party? I'm totally stoked about it personally. The idea for it just sounds so great and original. Any chance you would make any contributions to it? Or possibly the Porno For Pyros album he's planning on doing after?

" began to embrace a spiritual way of life "

Could you please elaborate ?

Peace

A good question to ask Dave would be, if he had one choice, which section would he choose? (The picture posted)

:D

Posted by: Zimphire at June 1, 2005 08:04 PM

But Dave doesn't have to choose.

He's lucky to have that waiting at home for him.

DAVE,
Thank u so much 4 posting the TDDUP episodes on your T.V. site. I've only seen 1 episode of it and missed out on the others. The whole journey seemed fun and beautiful and I love it! U and Carmen have given me so much hope that there is some1 out there who I can truly b at 1 with. Emotionally, physically, sexually, or whatever it may b. Your wedding gave me so much water works, it was just rediculous. I'm such a pussy :D.

Once again, thanks D.

Dave, I'm totally loving the TDDUP episodes. So thanks for the 6767 TV again.

Question: I was watching VH1's "100 Most Metal Moments" and I was wondering what's the moment (in your career) you would consider your "most metal moment," per se. Whether it involves you or just you being there.

Now that you are clean, how do you deal with being around people that are not.
My first instinct would be to never be around anyone that is addicted but that is pretty much impossible in music biz.

Posted by: Dave at June 2, 2005 07:06 AM

You know if I was clean, and trying to stay off drugs, I would try as hard as I could to not think about them, or go into long discussions about them.

I would certainly not want to go on and on and on about them, nostalgia and the monkey come back to make your back ache.

Hi Dave.I just read a comment from David Beckham, the erstwhile England football captain the America is "falling in live with him".What do you think to our intellectually challenged, though brilliant footballer?
What do you make of his tattoos?
